Chapter 113 It Doesn't Benefit You Either
The woman looked at the stunning Lamborghini, and her eyes became even more fervent.
"But... I already have a boyfriend," the woman said to Eric.
"It's alright. I don't mind," Eric replied, appearing indifferent.
After a pause, Eric continued, "I'm a busy person. Decide quickly. If you're willing, get in the car with me."
"I'm willing! I'm willing!" The woman agreed quickly.
She knew that if she refused, she might never have the chance to be with such a wealthy person again in her entire life. She absolutely couldn't miss this opportunity.
"Alright, get in then." Eric opened the door for her.
"What... what do you mean?" The man's face turned even uglier as he watched his girlfriend about to leave with Eric.
"Of course, it means I'm going with him! Besides, he owns a Lamborghini," Linda, the woman, justified confidently.
Now that she had managed to climb up to someone even wealthier, Linda wasn't afraid to break ties with her current boyfriend.
"You... you..." The man's words were stuck in his throat.
His face turned red with anger.
At this moment, Eric stepped forward and said to the man, "Sir, if you can obtain her from someone else with money, then you should understand that others can also take her away from you with money."
Eric learned from Big Teddy that this man had snatched Linda away with money, so Eric showed him no mercy.
The man's face turned ugly, but seeing that Eric was driving a Lamborghini, he dared not speak up.
Eric turned and got into the car.
When Linda got into the Lamborghini, it attracted the envy of many women passing by. Linda seemed to enjoy these envious glances.
"Where do you want to go? I'll take you there," Eric said.
"There's no need to ask. Of course, to the hotel," Linda replied with a charming smile.
She seemed very happy because the car she was now sitting in was a Lamborghini worth ten million dollars!
"Alright, buckle up your seatbelt," Eric said, stepping on the accelerator.
A deafening sound erupted, and the Lamborghini raced off, leaving the big-haired man standing there in a daze.
Fifteen minutes later
Eric drove to the entrance of a hotel.
"We've arrived. The total fare is $300," Eric said casually.
"What? Fare?" Linda was shocked upon hearing Eric's words.
"Yeah, I'm a taxi driver. Didn't I say it at the beginning? I asked you where you wanted to go, and I said I could take you there. Did you think I was giving you a free ride?" Eric shrugged.
"Stop joking. Who drives a Lamborghini as a taxi?" Linda forced a laugh.
"Do I look like I'm joking? I'm really a taxi driver. My car is more expensive, so the fare is $300. Hurry up and pay." Eric put on a serious expression.
"What? Damn it!" Linda couldn't help but swear.
Linda left her boyfriend, thinking she had climbed up to a wealthy man and would soon reach the pinnacle of life. But it turned out like this!
This was definitely a huge swing in her life.
"You... I'm not interested in playing along with you anymore."
Linda tried to open the car door and get out, but Eric had locked the doors.
"If you want to get off, you need to pay. It's absolutely impossible to ride for free." Eric shrugged.
"But I don't have money. How about I spend the night with you?" Linda forced a smile.
"But I'm not interested in women like you," Eric said calmly.
"You..." Linda's face turned pale with anger.
"Fine, consider me unlucky!" In order to get out of the car, Linda took out the money from her bag.
"This is $200. It's all I have."
Linda tossed the money onto the dashboard.
"Alright, I'll give you a discount," Eric said before finally opening the door.
After Linda got out of the car, Eric couldn't help but burst into laughter. This was Eric's plan to teach this woman a lesson on behalf of Big Teddy's cousin. He wanted to make her leave her boyfriend willingly and then shatter her dream. If Linda truly loved her boyfriend, she wouldn't have gotten into Eric's car.
Linda walked along the road in anger after getting out of the car. She was frustrated because she was now left with neither money nor resources. She had already severed ties with her ex-boyfriend, and going back was definitely not an option.
Eric stepped on the gas, drove the car back in front of Linda, and then rolled down the window. "What... what else do you want?" Linda looked at Eric with an unpleasant expression.
"Do you really think I care about your money? I was just playing with you," Eric said with a smile. After saying that, Eric threw the money out of the window.
Then the Lamborghini zoomed out and disappeared from view, leaving Linda with only exhaust fumes and dust.
Driving the Lamborghini, Eric called Big Teddy to let him know that Linda had been taught a lesson. Big Teddy thanked Eric and said he would inform his cousin about the incident.
While waiting for the traffic light at an intersection, a white-haired old man suddenly rushed out and climbed onto the hood of Eric's car, hitting it with his head a few times. Eric frowned. "It's just my luck that the car doesn't have a dashcam installed," he thought.
Eric got out of the car. "Are you trying to extort money? Aren't you afraid of getting hit for real?"
"What extortion? You clearly hit me! I see you're a wealthy person, and time is precious to you. So I won't ask you to take me to the hospital. Just compensate me with one thousand dollars, and I'll go to the hospital myself," the old man said.
Usually, when wealthy people encounter such individuals, they just throw a few thousand dollars at them to avoid trouble. These money extortionists knew this very well, which is why they specifically targeted luxury cars.
The old man also thought this way. Seeing how expensive this car was, he believed the owner must be very wealthy and that he could make a big profit. That's why he directly named a price of one thousand dollars.
In his eyes, anyone who could drive such an impressive car must not be lacking in money. However, Eric shook his head and smiled. "You climbed onto my car yourself and now claim I hit you. How can you ask me to compensate you with one thousand dollars? I'm sorry, but that's impossible. If you're smart, you'll leave now, and I won't hold it against you."
Eric really disliked these money-extortionists. He naturally wouldn't fall for their tricks.
Seeing this, the old man somehow managed to get hold of a bag of blood and poured it on his head. He then started yelling. "Come and see! Someone has been hit and is seriously injured! Ouch! Ouch!"
The old man's shouts immediately attracted many onlookers. "Blood! This looks pretty serious!"
"These wealthy people are so arrogant!"
