Chapter 150 Sniper
Frank strolled up to Eric, gave him a pat on the shoulder, and smirked, "You're just a loser in my book. Without Sean, you're nothing. Honestly, I can't stand guys like you!"
Eric shot Frank a dark look. "I don't care who you think you are. Get your dirty hand off me."
Frank's face darkened. "You got some nerve talking to me like that. You must have a death wish!"
He reached out and grabbed Eric by the neck.
Frank's grip was like a vice, and Eric's face turned red as he struggled to breathe.
"Your life is in my hands now. One squeeze, and you're done. Got it? Bastard!" Frank sneered.
Just then, a big hand landed on Frank's shoulder.
Frank turned and saw it was Wolfman.
"Let go of him!" Wolfman growled, his voice low and menacing, eyes cold as ice.
Frank let go of Eric and looked at Wolfman with a mocking grin. "And who the hell are you to talk to me like that?"
Eric coughed violently, humiliated and furious.
But his anger meant nothing to Frank.
"I'm Eric's bodyguard. If you want to mess with him, you gotta go through me first!" Wolfman said, narrowing his eyes.
"You're just a bodyguard, and you think you can take me on? Do you even know who I am?" Frank laughed.
At that moment, Tina walked up to Eric and said, "Eric, even though you're Sean's grandson, you're no match for Frank. You should leave now! Frank was in the top special forces unit in Eldoria, the Shadow Strike Force. If it comes to a fight, you and your bodyguard will be the ones to suffer! Don't embarrass yourself any further."
She didn't know Wolfman or his skills, but she was sure he couldn't take on Frank.
"Shadow Strike Force?" Eric was stunned.
He'd heard of them before.
Wolfman had served in the Shadow Strike Force too.
Tina turned to Frank and said, "Frank, he really didn't do anything to me. Just let it go."
Frank nodded, then looked at Eric and sneered, "You're lucky today. If it weren't for Tina, I'd have beaten you. Who you are means nothing to me!"
He turned to Tina with a smile and said, "Tina, you probably haven't had lunch yet, right? Get in my car, and I'll take you to lunch!"
Tina glanced at Eric and then replied, "Okay!"
Frank quickly walked to his car and opened the door. "Tina, get in!"
"Tina, if you get in his car, we're done! I won't owe you anything anymore! Think it through!" Eric stared at Tina, his eyes cold.
Tina trembled slightly, sadness and pain flashing in her eyes.
After a moment's hesitation, she walked towards Frank's car and got in.
Watching her, Eric felt a deep sadness.
"Fine! This is the end!" His eyes turned red.
Frank walked up to Eric again.
"Remember, you're a loser! Without Sean, you're nothing!" he said with a disdainful smile.
Then, Frank got into his car.
The Bugatti roared away, leaving Eric standing there, fists clenched.
"Who the hell is this Frank?" Eric muttered, staring after the car.
"Wolfman, let's go! Back to the office! I need to find out who this Frank really is!" he said through gritted teeth.
Eric rushed back to the office, determined to dig up everything he could about Frank.
Meanwhile, inside the Bugatti, Frank glanced at Tina. "Is Eric bugging you because he thinks you're pretty? Don't worry about his status. If that's the case, I'll handle it for you!"
"Thanks, Frank, but that's really not necessary," Tina replied with a polite smile.
"Tina, do you know why I came back to Silverbrook? It's all for you!" Frank said, grinning.
Tina forced a smile, feeling uneasy.
The car pulled into the parking lot of Green Hill Resort.
"Frank, stop," Tina said.
"What's up?" Frank asked, hitting the brakes.
"My car's here, and I've already eaten, so I'll pass on lunch," Tina said, opening the door.
"Tina!" Frank called out as she was about to get out.
"Frank, I'm not feeling well today. I just want to go home and rest," Tina said.
"Alright, rain check," Frank said, not pushing it.
After Tina got out, Frank slammed his hand on the steering wheel. "Damn it! It must be that Eric! Tina still has feelings for him, that's why she won't have lunch with me!"
He could tell Tina was distracted, and after coming back to Silverbrook, he'd heard rumors about Tina and Eric.
"A nobody wants to compete with me for Tina? Dream on!" Frank muttered coldly.
"Maybe I need to teach him a lesson!" Frank said, squinting his eyes.
Meanwhile, on the rooftop of the building opposite Power Group, a man in a trench coat and sunglasses walked up, carrying a case.
After surveying the area, he opened the case. Inside was a sniper rifle, ready to be assembled.
He was the hitman Donald had hired to take out Eric and Wolfman.
He skillfully put the sniper rifle together and found a good sniping position.
Next, the hitman took out a photo. It was of Eric.
After looking at the photo, he burned it with a lighter.
Ready and waiting, he just had to wait for his target to show up.
He'd done this kind of job many times, so it was all second nature to him.
In the hospital, Oliver said joyfully, "Mr. Hall, the hitman is in position. Now we just wait for the good news!"
"Are you sure there's no chance of failure?" Donald asked.
"Absolutely! This guy's one of Eldoria's top hitmen, with deadly accurate aim. As soon as Eric shows up, he's done for!" Oliver said with a smile.
"Good, that puts my mind at ease." Donald was ecstatic at the thought of Eric's imminent death.
On the rooftop opposite Power Mansion, the hitman lay in his sniping position, motionless, waiting for Eric to appear.
At that moment, a blue Lamborghini came into view.
"Here he comes!" Seeing the Lamborghini, he immediately became alert.
He knew this was the car Eric usually rode in.
Through the sniper scope, he watched as the car parked in the open lot outside Power Mansion.
The driver's door opened, and Eric stepped out.
He immediately took aim, pulled back the bolt, and prepared to take the shot.
In this situation, he was sure he could take Eric out with one shot!
He slowly squeezed the trigger.
At that moment, he suddenly sensed something was off.
He quickly turned his head.
Harold Turner, also in a trench coat and sunglasses, was standing behind him, pointing a silenced pistol at his head!
