Chapter 18: Choose Between Two Women?

Sierra took a deep breath to calm herself down. She said to Linda, "Don't come looking for me again. Not everyone wants to add glory to your love life."
Linda was used to being pampered and had never been rejected before. She still clung onto Sierra and insisted on finding out why she didn't like her.
They walked into an alley one after the other. Sierra felt that she couldn't shake off Linda. She turned around wanting to drive her away but the next second, she widened her eyes in shock.
Linda was knocked down from behind by someone.
"It's her, Roger's fiancée."
"Arrest her! Don't worry about Roger not giving us money!"
"There's another girl here too, let's take them both together. Maybe she is also worth something."
Before Sierra could call out, everything went black in front of her eyes and she was dragged into a sack and thrown into a car...
Sierra woke up in an abandoned warehouse with ropes binding her body while Linda was tied up beside her crying and cursing.
"Do you know who I am?"
"My brother will make you pay until you're broke!"
"Let me go now!"
A man who looked like a monkey slapped Linda hard because he found it annoying when she kept making noise.
"Shut up! Or else we'll tear your clothes off."
Linda cried even louder but Monkey dared not do anything serious as the Howard family were not easy people to mess with especially their lawyer Eric.
Monkey threw a phone at Linda saying,” Call your man and tell him prepare $20 million without missing even one penny! Also tell him he must come alone or else don't blame us for being ruthless!"
Linda was frightened so she took the phone crying and called Roger...
At the Huo mansion
Mrs. Howard worriedly shed tears over Linda's kidnapping while Eric, his father and Roger were waiting for the phone call.
Huo was not happy as those idiots were brought in by Roger. He had to give an explanation for this matter.
After waiting for about two hours, Linda's call finally came through. She gasped between sobs and managed to explain Monkey's demands.
Roger comforted her gently. Finally, Linda stopped crying and felt sweet again because she knew that Roger loved her very much and didn't want her to be hurt at all.
When they finished talking, suddenly a woman's trembling voice came from the other end of the line, “Don’t touch me... Don't touch me!"
Roger trembled when he heard that voice which he recognized so well - it was Sierra!
How could she be with Linda?
He thought of those dirty hands wandering over her body and felt like killing someone!
But when he looked up into Eric's deep eyes, he suddenly became clear-headed!
Eric was so shrewd that if he revealed anything suspicious then all his previous efforts would have been wasted after getting involved with the Howard family for such a long time!
Roger was ruthless himself but even he knew it too.
He pretended not to know who Sierra was and said directly to the thugs on the other side of the phone, “I will bring $20 million over. You mustn't touch my fiancée."
After hanging up, Roger seemed lost in thought. Then turning back towards Mr. & Mrs. Howard, "This is my fault this time. Uncle Huo Auntie Huo please rest assured I will definitely bring Linda back safely."
Mr. Howard nodded approvingly as he still admired Roger very much.
Roger drove away leaving only The Howard family behind at home...
Mrs. Howard breathed a sigh of relief wiping away tears before hesitating slightly saying, “I think I just heard Miss Adler's voice earlier? Eric did you hear anything?"
Eric already had car keys in his hand and replied indifferently,” I’ll go check it out."
