Chapter 42 Yes, Sierra is with me!

Under Eric's gaze, Sierra trembled slightly.
Eric handed her his phone: "Call your maid so she won't worry!... Your phone has been off for a day!"
Sierra took the phone and thanked him softly. She walked to the window and called Olivia.
Olivia was still worried that she had compromised with Roger, so she asked more questions!
Sierra bit her lip and didn't know what to say.
The phone was taken by a slender hand, and Eric said in a gentle tone: "Olivia, Sierra is with me! My surname is Howard, Eric Howard."
Sierra was surprised and shocked again.
She didn't expect Eric to be willing to expose this relationship... Did he know what he was doing?
Not only her but also Olivia on the other end of the line were stunned.
She pinched herself hard: I'm awake; it's not a dream!

Olivia couldn't speak as if her tongue had been bitten off. Eric explained why Sierra was with him in just a few words effortlessly.
After hanging up the phone, Eric looked at Sierra: "Go to the kitchen and make some ginger tea for yourself. Drink it before sleeping... I have something to deal with."
He turned around after speaking and walked into his study room.
Sierra gently pulled his sleeve: "Eric."
Eric turned back around.
Sierra struggled to speak: "...I made an agreement with Roger..."
She pointed out their agreement between herself and Roger earlier on
Eric's eyes darkened slowly as he spoke slowly: "I thought you came back with me because you had made your choice."
He reached out his palm lightly placed it over her forehead then rubbed it gently down towards her hairline
"There will be nothing between you and Roger."
After Eric finished speaking, he went into the study room. Sierra repeatedly pondered over his words... Later on, she thought that he was willing to make an exception mainly for Linda! Only if he took her away would Roger give up.
Sierra felt relieved in her heart.
She went to the kitchen to prepare ginger tea. Eric's kitchen was like a model room; she doubted whether he had ever used it before, but when she opened the refrigerator, she found that there were various types of food inside including meat, eggs and dairy products.
Sierra took out a piece of ginger and boiled two bowls of ginger tea.
She sent one bowl to Eric.
In the study room, Eric was making a phone call. He did not avoid Sierra when she arrived at the door but made a gesture for her to come in instead
Sierra placed the ginger tea on his desk and was about to leave.
However, her wrist was caught by him as he gently pulled her onto his lap
Eric continued talking with lawyer Lucas while his other hand wasn't idle either. Sierra couldn't stand being teased by him anymore so she leaned over and lightly bit down on his shoulder
Eric looked at her with dark eyes; flames flickered faintly within them
Lucas suddenly mentioned Sierra from their conversation topic
Eric smiled faintly: "She is here with me now. Do you want to talk to her?"
Mr Rodriguez paused for a moment then joked: "Eric you move fast! Jason must be crying at home now."
"He's not that fragile!" Eric brushed off those comments quickly
He soon finished discussing business matters then received several documents related George Adler's case files afterwards
When things calmed down slightly later on, he drank all of the ginger tea in one gulp then told Sierra that he still had something else left unfinished before letting himself out again
Without any pretense or hesitation, Sierra knew what he wanted!
Entering the master bedroom, Sierra carefully laid down on the thin sheets. In the dim light, her skin looked translucent against the black bed sheet...
She was a little nervous and didn't know when Eric would come back to sleep.
