Chapter 41 Redemption! Eric's Gentleness

Sierra walked out of the villa. The rain was getting heavier, and the misty darkness covered everything. Under the dim streetlights, there were reflections of water on the ground.
Sierra walked numbly in her high heels through the cold rainy night for a long time until her shoes rubbed against her feet so much that they started to bleed.
It hurt so much...
Sierra tilted her head up slightly and let the cold rain hit her face. She had loved Roger before, but it was a mistake! Now she only felt hatred towards him. She didn't want to spend her whole life repaying him; she would rather die with him.
Tears welled up in Sierra's eyes, but they seemed insignificant in this cold night. She slowly crouched down and allowed herself to be washed away by the rain.
A tall figure appeared over her head holding a black umbrella, covering Sierra from head to toe.
She looked up and saw Eric!
He was wearing formal attire as if he had just come from some official occasion - mature and handsome. He gazed at her with such intensity that made Sierra tremble inside.
It was him again...Eric always appeared when she was at rock bottom, saving her every time.
"Miss Adler, I've been looking for you all night," said Eric in his low husky voice which sounded even more charming than a cello's tone quality.
Sierra remained motionless like a statue unable to react due to stiffness all over body.
"Poor thing," sighed Eric softly as he bent down and picked up Sierra into his arms while she remained still like an ice sculpture.
Her clothes were already soaked through making his own clothes wet too but who cared?
Eric's body temperature was very warm compared to hers which made Sierra regain consciousness gradually.
Their faces were close enough that if she lowered her head, she could bury it in his neck. Their posture was so intimate that Sierra felt a little uneasy and wanted to struggle.
"Stay still," Eric said hoarsely as he gently placed the umbrella handle into her palm. His hand was too hot for Sierra to bear but he didn't allow her to escape. He immediately wrapped her soft palm with his own.
Sierra stared at him blankly, lips slightly parted and tempting.
Eric lowered his head and kissed her passionately under the rain.
The rain continued to fall softly, making everything quiet except for their intertwined bodies. At first, Sierra resisted but Eric was surprisingly dominant when it came to intimacy between men and women; she gradually surrendered herself completely.
The black umbrella fell on the ground and was blown away by the wind...
Sierra couldn't help but hug Eric's neck tightly while tilting up her face towards him for another kiss. Her helpless appearance seemed like a sacrifice made just for him; those emotional sounds were even more seductive which made her blush with excitement...
At this moment, there was no need for words - they understood each other's hearts!
Roger...was not important anymore...
Eric took Sierra back to his luxurious apartment located in a bustling area of ​​the city. He looked at Sierra's wet clothes then went into the closet and pulled out a black shirt: "Take a shower and change your clothes. Wear this one temporarily; I'll have my secretary bring you some new ones tomorrow morning!"
Sierra was already 24 years old - not naive enough to know nothing about life.
She silently took over the shirt from Eric before looking up at him again.
Unexpectedly, Eric brought out bathrobes instead of towels which surprised Sierra yet relieved some tension within herself simultaneously.
Now she had time to take a closer look around Eric's bedroom while changing clothes.
He preferred modern art with heavy metal elements throughout his room decoration style giving off a strong personal touch.
Deep gray furniture.
Black bed sheets and curtains.
Sierra bit her lip lightly before going into the bathroom...when she came out, she was only wearing Eric's shirt.
Eric, who had come in to get some documents, saw this scene and his Adam's apple rolled involuntarily twice.
