CHAPTER 11

HE IS MINE.
Alpha Kane felt as if he had been stabbed by a thousand swords in his heart as tears threatened to form a stream down his face. The pain that he was going through was unbearable. This is actually the first time that his heart has been broken and it hurts like hell.

He missed Ava dearly. He wanted to see her every single day, even if they were no longer together. He wanted the assurance that she is always here within the pack because he knew that after the revenge, they would fix their relationship. They had shared so many things in the three years that they had been together and it killed him that she left. Alpha Kane had tried to move on with Cynthia but it is not exactly the same. There is something about Ava...

Alpha Kane wished that she was a little bit patient and understanding to understand that he was doing this for the pack. Honestly, witch Jezebel is to be blamed because her revenge is what determined their relationship's fate.

Alpha Kane could not help but remember how they used to enjoy cuddling as they told each other their deep secrets and their future plans.

He fucking missed her and it was driving him nuts. Where is he supposed to find her? Where could she be at this point in time?

"Can we come in?" Beta Ian asked after waiting outside for a few minutes.

"Go away! Leave!" Alpha Kane yelled. He wanted some time alone to think and worry about the girl that he would always love.

No matter what, Ava will always have a special place in his heart. No one will ever take her place, not even her sister Cynthia. As a matter of fact, he is going to divorce her as soon as they make Witch Jezebel pay for what she did to their pack. When everything is over,he will go looking for Ava. They had so many plans for their future and he is not willing to give up on them. Not now, not ever.

Cynthia was adding her clothes in the walk-in closet that belonged to Alpha Kane when she heard a knock on the door.

With a wide smile playing on her lips, she went to get it knowing that it was none other than Alpha Kane but she was shocked to see Beta Ian.

"What the heck do you want?" She asked through gritted teeth. The last thing that she wanted was for Beta Ian to ruin things for her. She is already in love with the Alpha and the last thing that she wanted was to lose him because of this piece of shit.

"I want you. You were once mine remember," Beta Ian said and wanted to touch her but Cynthia pushed her away.

"You should be out of your mind to think that I can be with someone like you. I despise you. I hate you too. In fact, I will make you pay for the pain you put me through," Cynthia warned.

"Don't ever say that I did not give you another chance when things start backfiring on you." Beta Ian countered.

"There is nothing that can backfire on me. You are jealous that I have the Alpha. By the way, he knows how to make love to me," Cynthia said.

"Fuck you!" Beta Ian cursed.

"What?" Cynthia laughed when he saw his bitter reaction.

"If I were you. I would be worried. I mean, you tell me. Why would the Alpha be disturbed to learn that your sister left the pack if he did not feel something for her? Let us not kid ourselves. Your sister is more beautiful than you," Beta Ian stated and Cynthia lost it.

"Fuck you!" She spat.

"Be careful with your words. You are Luna now. " Beta Ian advised.

"Leave me alone!" Cynthia warned before locking the door on his face.

Beta Ian left with a yellow smile gracing his face. He had always loved pushing Cynthia to the edge and it works every single time.

Cynthia ran to the bed and hugged the pillow. She could feel her stomach churn as she cried on the pillow. She could not stand the thought that Alpha Kane was dating her sister for the past three years. She was so jealous.

Anyway, she wiped her tears away and decided that she was going to do all it takes to win Alpha Kane's heart. She cannot lose him.

Wearing a little black satin dress, she walked to where his office was located.

"Alpha, are you in there?" Cynthia asked with a calm, soothing voice.

Alpha Kane immediately wiped his tears away. The last thing he wanted was to ruin her relationship with Cynthia yet Ava had already left. He had lied to Cynthia yesterday and he was not about to be honest with her. If he tells Cynthia the truth that he had been dating her sister for three years, then Cynthia will start getting insecure and in the long run, it will result in problems that can affect the revenge they are yet to carry out.

"Come in my love," Alpha Kane said in a gentle voice after forcing a wide smile to hide the fact that he was crying.

"Are you done with the meeting already? Why are you here by yourself?" Cynthia asked as she looked around the office.

She had decided not to confront him. She was going to play her role as Luna and that is ensuring that the Alpha is always happy. He has to find a way of cheering him up. In the long run, she will own his heart. Men appreciate peace and she was going to be his source of peace.

"Yes, I am done," Alpha Kane lied as he closed the open books on his table.

"Come, have a seat,"Alpha Kane invited her and Cynthia was glad.

She took her seat and crossed her legs as she ran her tongue over her lower lip suggestively.

"I know that you want it,"Alpha Kane winked at her after getting the clue.

"First, let us discuss business matters. When are we going to attack the witch?" Cynthia addressed the bigger picture first. Despite her falling in love with Alpha Kane, she did not want to forget about her mission. She had promised her parents on their grave to avenge what witch Jezebel did and nothing is going to stop her.

"Soon enough. By the way,I heard that she was in the rainforest,"Alpha Kane said after sighing heavily. He was happy that Cynthia decided to address the situation.

"What do you want me to do? If you want me to attack now, I will!" Cynthia said with a voice filled with confidence. When it came to fighting with swords, she was well trained. She was ready to fight.

"We need a good plan. " Alpha Kane said.

"I can help you with that, if you don't mind,"Cynthia offered.

"Really?" Alpha Kane was impressed by her brilliant mind.

"Yes. I will,"Cynthia affirmed.

"Okay baby. I will call Beta Ian and the head of the scouts so that we can plan the attack. But before that, how about we…" Alpha Kane teased before gesturing to her to come over.

"What?" Cynthia asked as she battled her eyelids.

" I want you now. I want a taste of you," Alpha Kane said.

"Here?" Cynthia asked as she looked around.

"I can as well do this," Alpha Kane said.

"What?" Cynthia drew her eyebrows up in confusion.

Alpha Kane went to lock the door of the office as well as covering all the windows.

"Are you still doubting that we can do it here?" He asked her.

"No, "Cynthia said as Alpha Kane came over and lifted her off the ground. Cynthia snaked her legs around his waist as he walked with her to the wall for support.

Alpha Kane feasted on her lips before rolling her tongue with hers. Cynthia moaned and Alpha Kane knew that he had to be fast so as to pleasure her.

He kissed her on her neck leaving a neck bite and after that he lifted her dress up. He quickly removed her panties as he unbuttoned his trousers.

He fingered her with his right hand while he massaged his length with his left hand. He asked her to bend before he slid himself into her. He started slow then fast as Cynthia craved for more.

He fucked her rough and fast. His mind was still thinking about Ava. The reality that he can't forget Ava made him realise that he loved her more than he thought he did.

From under his touch, heat seeped through Cynthia's skin as if she was made of paper. She moaned his name and declared how she loved him. With every chance they get to make love, she loves him even more.

At this juncture, Cynthia is more certain than ever that she cannot let him go. Alpha Kane will always be hers. She would rather die than allow someone to take him from her.
