CHAPTER 34

HER SELFISHNESS.
Jez tried reaching for her wand to clock Luna Cynthia before she harmed her when she recalled that she did not have it. Ava was the one with it. She had been using it to learn casting spells .

Truth be told, without the wand, Je was defenceless.No spell was going to work without the wand. She was so afraid. She was literally at the Mercy of Luna Cynthia and this scared her even more. Her heart thudded in her chest and her palms became so sweaty.

"You will die today," Luna Cynthia continued tormenting her.

Jez knew that her magic was not going to help her. The only thing that could help her is talking to Luna Cynthia and begging her to forgive her. It seems hard but who knows, maybe she can find it in her heart to forgive her. She was just avenging her mother's murder.

" Please don't kill me, I want to live. I am scared of dying. You have to forgive me Luna Cynthia" Jez got off the bed and kneeled in front of her.

"You are so wicked, aren't you? How do you expect forgiveness after everything that you did to us? You killed our parents and took our werewolf powers away. You do not deserve mercy. " Luna Cynthia said.

"I was trying to find revenge. I was avenging my mother's death. I honestly didn't mean to hurt you people. I regret everything that I did. If you let me live, I will do anything to fix what I did," Jez promised. She hoped that Luna Cynth was going to spare her life. She really deserves a second chance.

"You must die today Jez. Allow that to sink in. No one will save you. I have my warriors outside. They all want to see your head in my hand. There is no way out, you must die today. If I were you, I would be making my last prayer," Luna Cynthia said as she touched her neck with the cold, sharp sword and Jez instantly wetted her pants.

Her life flushed in front of her when she closed her eyes tightly. She wished that she had made better choices so that she could not be in this situation.

Jez was trembling in fear but Luna Cynthia did not care at all. She wanted to avenge her parents death once and for all. She wanted them to rest in peace.

"Make your final prayer!" Luna Cynthia commanded as she cut her a little and the bright red blood stained the sword.

Jez bit her lips as she tried to contain the pain .

She hoped for a miracle because she wanted to live. She did not want to die. She crossed her fingers that Ava was coming back to save her before it was too late. She needed her more than ever. Ava was powerful, if she cast a spell to protect her then she would be okay.

Ava was back to kissing Alpha Kane when she felt the urge to go back home. She couldn't explain why she was feeling that way but she could tell that something was wrong.

"What is wrong?" Alpha Kane asked when Ava stopped kissing him.

"I have to go home. My sister needs me. " Ava explained.

"You are thinking that because you think that you failed her by agreeing to come with me after she warned you not to. You don't have to worry about anything,," Alpha Kane said.

"Really?" Ava implored.

"Yes, I am sure. Besides, nothing can harm her. She is a witch. She can always protect herself," Alpha Kane added and this made sense to Ava.

Ava decided to stay, not knowing that her sister Jez needed her the most.

"Baby I am so turned on right now. I want to make love to you," Alpha Kane confessed as he helped her get rid of her blouse. Ava was all in. After that talk with Alpha Kane, she was not bothered by anything.

"Say it! Say your last wish!" Luna Cynthia shouted when Jez was silent.

"My final wish and prayer is for my sister Ava to be happy with Alpha Kane. The two of them deserve a future that is filled with so much happiness!" Jez announced but that is when Luna Cynthia lost it.

She could feel her blood boiling when witch Jezebell mentioned Ava and Alpha Kane. Luna decided that she was not going to waste any more time. Witch Jezebel deserves to die.

After saying her last words, witch Jezebel had to face the hard truth that she was going to die. This is not what she had expected but right now she can barely save herself. It hurt her that she did not live the life that she had envisioned for herself. What gave her hope is that she was going to meet her mother in the afterworld.

Luna Cynthia sighed deeply before she lifted her sword upwards with all her energy and brought it down, cutting Witch Jezebel's head.

Blood splashed all over her face and she watched in horror as witch Jezebel's head fell beside her body.

Luna Cynthia was so scared. This was actually the first time that she had killed someone. She slowly allowed the sword to fall from her hands as she went on her knees.

This was nothing compared to the fate of Mark Birgam because the guards are the one who did the actual killing. She only gave the command.

Luna Cynthia threw up when she saw so much blood oozing from her neck. What had she done? What has she become? She was not supposed to kill her. That was the plan. Now, who is going to fix their werewolf power?She couldn't take it anymore.

She crawled to the corner of the room where she sat and started crying to herself.

Her hands were still shaking. Witch Jezebel was okay and full of life two minutes ago but she ended her life. She is a killer. She killed her. Even if it is not easy, what makes her sane is the fact that her parents have found the revenge that she had promised them. Finally, they are surely going to rest in peace.

But what about the pack? Are they going to get their werewolf powers back? She had messed terribly. She failed the pack and her fellow warriors because of her anger. She could not even gather the strength to go out and face them.

She has Ava and Alpha Kane to blame for this. If Witch Jezebel hadn't mentioned their names, then she would not have killed her.

Luna Cynthia had taken way too long in the cave hence Alpha Ian decided to go after her. Who knows, maybe something had backfired and she turned out to be the one who needed saving.

"Stay here, I am going in but I will be back before you know it. If I take long, plan an attack," Alpha Ian promised the warriors before he ran to the entrance of the cave.

As he walked in, he saw human blood flowing out of the room.

This made his heart beat at a very quick pace. He started sweating profusely. It hit him that he had definitely allowed Luna Cynthia to go into the lion's den and that got her killed.

Alpha Ian could feel his insides curve in. What was he going to do? He can't lose her. Not now.

Even though he was very scared of the reality, he continued walking in. He was expecting to see Luna Cynthia's body but instead, he saw Witch Jezebel's head and her body lying beside it.

Instantly, Alpha Ian was angered. How could Luna Cynthia do this? They had a plan but she decided to go against it.

She looked around for her and located her when she heard her choking her own sobs.

Alpha Ian could not control what he was feeling. He grabbed her hand.

"What did you do!" He yelled.

"She...she…" Luna Cynthia could barely make a sentence.

Ava stared deeply into Alpha Kane's eyes as they made love. Feeling him deep inside her made her feel the intense joy of having him back. Damn, she had missed all of him. The pleasure she got from him made her moan his name as if it was some form of prayer.

She was really enjoying the sex. She was almost climaxing and Alpha Kane was even doing it fast to get her there when suddenly a cold feeling gushed through her.

Ava could not continue with the sex anymore. She had to stop. She had never felt that feeling before. After the coldness, nothing else mattered.

"Is everything okay?" Alpha Kane asked.

"I have to go home. What I am feeling is so unusual," Ava said.

"Come on baby, we can go later. Let's…" Alpha Kane tried to convince her but Ava had heard enough from him.

" I fucking want to go home!" Ava hissed as she started dressing up.

She was not going to waste any more time. She wanted to be home. She even started running home. Alpha Kane knew the seriousness of what she was saying after she started walking away.

Alpha Kane dressed up quickly and chased after her.

"Ava, please wait for me. Let us go together," Alpha Kane said and Ava appreciated his offer.

At that moment, she felt scared. She could feel that something bad had happened but she could not tell what it was.
