CHAPTER 38

MAKE UP SEX.
"Now that you have mentioned the subject, I want to know a few things," Ava found herself opening up.

"Talk to me baby, I will give you all the answers you need,all that you have to do is ask," Alpha Kane said.

"Why did you reject me? Why? Why did you decide that the three years that we had been together meant nothing to you?" Ava asked with a shaky voice because the events of that night really hurt her.

"You want me to be honest and I will be. I will start by saying that I didn't mean to hurt you the way I did. I was stupid and selfish. I did not think about you," Alpha Kane excused himself.

"Okay, now tell me, what happened? Don't leave out anything," Ava added.

"Well I feel so bad saying this but you deserve to know the truth.I chose Cynthia to be the Luna because she was a great fighter and she was going to help me kill Jez. Sorry to say this but you know, you also wanted her dead before you got to know that she is not only your sister but she was also a good person," Alpha Kane said.

"Okay, from what you are saying, I am getting this point. Tell me if I am wrong. When you rejected me and you chose her, were you in love with her. If so, how long have you been attracted to her?" Ava asked.

"Honestly, I felt nothing for her. But I failed you. I fucked her as a way of forgetting you but it didn't work. I am really sorry for the pain I made you go through because what I did was so selfish and toxic of me," Alpha Kane answered her and she was silent for a while.

"So, what makes us different now? You can hurt me, you know. You have hurt me in the past. Who knows what you can do next?" Ava raised her concern.

"Right now I am sure about you. I know how it feels to lose you and trust me, I really don't want that feeling ever again. As a matter of fact, if we go back to the pack, I will make you my Luna. You might not be a fighter but you have brains to help me protect our people. I am sorry that I did not see that in the first place," Alpha Kane apologized and Ava appreciated his honesty. This is the clarity she wanted to get.

"Should we head out?" Ava inquired after a while.

"Wait, we need to do something first. " Alpha Kane said.

"What?" Ava drew her eyebrows up in confusion as she looked at him.

Alpha Kane did not say a word. Instead, he joined her in bed. He cupped her head with his hands and removed her stray strand of hair that was on her forehead and tagged it behind her ear.

He looked deeply into her eyes and he saw it. He saw the spark that made him fall in love with her.

"What?" Ava asked and at this time her breathing had become heavy. Alpha Kane's touch always made her feel hot and lose her guard. She wanted more than the touch.

Alpha Kane captured her lips into a kiss. They kissed briefly before he kissed her on her neck and he was keen enough to leave a neck bite.

Ava moaned his name but he did not stop. He moved down to suck her right nipple as he caressed the left ones with her fingertips turning her on even more.

Ava could not control herself,she kept on moaning his name.

Alpha Kane went down and started licking her. Ava felt sweet pleasures before she finally achieved her orgasm. She felt that it was worth it to be with this one person who made her feel nice.

Alpha Kane was turned on . He removed his clothes and helped Ava get rid of hers. They tossed it on the floor. Each of them wanted each other so badly.

The sex that they had was not the ordinary one. This one was so different. It was more intimate. The sex was slow pounding as they stared deeply into each others eyes. They felt so connected to each other. He felt safe with her at the same time he felt powerful with her by his side.

Alpha Kane was sure of one thing and that is he was never going to let her go. He was going to be there for her and the two of them would be happy. He will make her the Luna, he will marry her and Ava will be the one to carry his pups.

After the two of them orgasmed, they both remained cuddling in bed, enjoying each other's presence. Ava felt safe to be with him. This validated her decision to be with him despite what he did in the past. Anyway, she had forgiven him.

"By the way darling, I have a question," Ava said.

"Talk to me baby," Alpha Kane mumbled.

"You know that I still have my werewolf powers. Right? Does that make you feel bad, don't lie. Be honest," Ava requested.

"I can't lie. At first it did but right now it doesn't make me feel bad. Anyway, why are you asking?" Alpha Kane implored.

"Well, I wanted to turn. I will carry you and the two of us will go looking for Alpha Daniels camp," Ava offered. She crossed her fingers that Alpha Kane would he down for the idea.

"Of course. It will be fun. Plus I have missed seeing your wolf. Your light brown fur was sexy," He said and Ava was glad. He was happy that he was the type of man to support a woman without thinking that they don't deserve the gift that they had been given. He did not believe that women are a weaker being and this was a good sign.

"Come on. " Ava laughed.

"We should go now, or else you will lose that trail," Alpha Kane announced and she was down to the idea. He dressed up and she did.

They left the cave and once they were inside, Ava shifted to her wolf as Alpha Kane watched.

He ran his hands through her fur and Ava was happy.

He climbed up his back, held her steady and Ava started trailing the scent of Jez's blood. It was not a hustle to trail the scent and she knew for sure that the person who killed her sister was not far away from the cave.

Ava hoped that it was not Alpha Daniel. Midnight pack had been through so much already and they did not need a war. This will break them.

The scent became more stronger and Ava started moving slowly as she sniffed. Once she was beside a very huge tree, she stood.

Alpha Kane got off her back and looked up and that is when he saw Luna Cynthia who was covered in blood.

He was angered and at the same time he felt relief at the same time. He was angered because Luna Cynthia did not fix their powers before she killed Witch Jezebel. Why did she do that? Why? On the other hand, he felt relief because it was crystal clear that Alpha Daniel did not kill her hence there was no war to worry about.

Luna Cynthia who was hiding on top of a tree was shocked to see Alpha Kane in the company of her sister. She knew her shade of fur when she would turn to her wolf. Ava had light brown fur which was different from the rest of the members who had only dark shades.

"What do you want with this bitch!" Luna Cynthia barked as she climbed down the tree. She hated them. Seeing Alpha Kane and Ava together made her stomach churn.

Ava instantly shifted to her human form and grabbed her by the neck. She could not handle the disrespect.

"Don't you dare call me a bitch! You are the bitch. I will kill you today. Why did you kill my sister!" Ava said through gritted teeth as she shook with rage.

Alpha Kane had to intervene to prevent Ava from turning to be a murderer yet she is a good person.

"Don't kill her. She must live and pay for the crime that she committed. Alpha Kane advised.

"It is all your fault. If it were not for you, she could have fixed our powers and she could also be alive," Luna Cynthia said as she held her neck. It was still painful thanks to Ava trying to strangle her.

"What did we do?" Alpha Kane asked.

"Wait, how did Ava get her powers back? Why was she carrying you? Damn! You lost your powers, just like the rest of us? You are a powerless Alpha," Luna Cynthia laughed and this left Alpha Kane fuming.
