CHAPTER 25

IN HIS BED
Luna Cynthia reached for Beta Ian's lips after they concluded their small discussion on taking over the leadership of the pack. They were confident that their plan was going to work.. The kiss that they shared was different and it was hard to explain. There was more want, more lust in the kiss. Luna Cynthia smiled into his kiss.

Beta Ian wrapped his fingers in her hair deepening the kiss between the two of them. After a few seconds, Beta Ian pulled away from her lips and moved to her neck, letting his soft lips trace her neck.

Luna Cynthia moaned loudly, her head falling back and she closed her eyes. She enjoyed the way his lips felt against her neck. She soon felt his warm breath along her ear.

"I know this was your matrimonial bed with Alpha Kane but it is going to be ours now and forever. I am going to take my time with you. I am going to touch and kiss every part of you. I am going to make love to you in a way that you have never felt before. Let yourself feel. I love you Luna Cynthia," Beta Ian confessed, sending shivers down her spine.

"Please," Luna Cynthia whimpered out.

Witch Jezebel grinned mischievously as she played with the sword. She loved how desperate Alpha Kane became when he took his powers away and clocked him.

Ava on the other hand could not stop crying and this made Witch Jezebel torment her even more. Witch Jezebel felt that Ava was dramatic. Wasn't it her own fault that she was so blinded with revenge and this made her bring the Alpha to her?

Witch Jezebel had sworn to her parents that she was going to kill Alpha Kane and end their generation just like the way his parents killed her sister and ended the original witches' generation. Her sister was an original witch with so much power. She was able to reverse clocking and other major curses. She was so powerful. Witch Jezebel on the other hand did not have so much power.

She recalled the last day she was playing with her sister, before they were raided and her sister was taken away. They looked for her for years but they later come to learn that she had been killed by Alpha Kane's parents.

Ava continued crying begging her to kill her instead but Witch Jezebel was not about to change her mind.

She swung the sword aiming for Alpha Kane's neck. She was going to use all the energy she had to cut his head from his body. Finally, her heart will be at peace with the fact that her sister got justice. Even if she cannot reverse what happened to her sister, the important thing is that she is peaceful wherever she is thanks to this revenge.

Ava couldn't comprehend that Alpha Kane was going to be killed right in front of her. She closed her eyes tightly and lifted her hands in the air. She shouted " No" and suddenly she heard the sword falling off Witch Jezebel's hand.

She felt as if her heart was forcefully pulled out of her chest. Her body was in so much pain. She couldn't open her eyes. She was scared to see Alpha Kane's head lying beside his dead body. Ava wished that this was a horrible dream that she could wake up from.

Her heart was racing. She however knew that she had to face her reality anyway. She opened her eyes slowly looking for his head so that she could continue screaming in pain but she was shocked to see Alpha Kane lying on the grass. He was not in a pool of blood. He was perfectly fine, his head was intact. As for Witch Jezebel, she was also asleep with the sword a few yards from her. What the heck happened?

Ava ran to Alpha Kane and hugged him tightly when she noticed that his heart was still beating.

"What happened?" She could not understand. Why did Witch Jezebel fail to kill him?

"How did you do that?" Alpha Kane couldn't believe what he had just seen. He had decided to open his eyes and face his death like a true warrior when suddenly there was a strong force that sent Witch Jezebel flying away, leaving him safe and sound.

All this happened when Ava shouted "No" , at the nick of time.

"What do you mean?" Ava was confused.

"Your powers got Witch Jezebel flying," Alpha Kane told her. His heart was still beating at twice its normal speed. He could not believe what he had just seen. What he had seen was different. What Ava had was not werewolf powers alone. There was more.

"I don't know what you are talking about. Please explain to me what you are talking about." Alpha Kane made Ava even more confused. Which power is Alpha Kane talking about?

"It is clear that you are not purely a werewolf. Who the heck are you, Ava? Did you lie to me about your identity too? I can't believe you. You are a liar," Alpha Kane mumbled.

Ava had never been this confused. She honestly did not know what Alpha Kane was talking about.

She is a werewolf. Her parents were werewolves. She only possesses werewolf powers.

"No, I have never lied to you. I am a werewolf," Ava was so defensive.

"Just stop lying. You are making things worse," Alpha Kane said.

"No, I am not," Ava said and tried hugging him but he pushed her away.

"Go away, don't think that I have forgotten the fact that you betrayed me," Alpha Kane added.

The kiss between Luna Cynthia and Beta Ian escalated and the two of them started undressing each other in urgency. Luna Cynthia did not care that sleeping with Beta Ian in the bed that belonged to the Alpha was disrespectful. She was going to do anything that pleased her. Besides, didn't Alpha Kane leave with her sister yet he promised to be faithful and loyal to her?
Talk about disrespect.

Luna Cynthia leant close to Beta Ian and placed her lips over his chest and kissed over it.

She kissed down his body and slowly got into her knees in front of him.

Beta Ian watched her every move as he licked his lips.

Luna Cynthia smirked, licking on her own lips to get them moist. She flicked her tongue over his tip, Beta Ian's body shivered when she did. She slowly slid him into her mouth.

Inch by inch flicking her tongue over him before wrapping her lips around his length, sliding him in and out and teasing him with her mouth.

"Yes baby, like that," Beta Ian moaned, wrapping his fingers in the air.

Luna Cynthia gripped Beta Ian's legs and went in faster and he could not handle it anymore.

" I am going to fuck you hard!" He hissed before he pulled her up, threw her in bed cautiously and went ahead to make love to her.

He was proud of his decision to be in her team.

"I don't know what you are talking about but all I know Is that you are safe and sound," Ava said.

"Leave me alone, Ava. You betrayed me. I am never going to forgive you. I wish that I would have chosen Luna Cynthia over you because she is loyal to the pack. She was also loyal to me. She would never have led me to the lion's den," Alpha Kane said.

"Don't say that. I love you. I saved you. Witch Jezebel tricked me. I swear I did not want you to get killed," Ava explained.

"As I said earlier. I curse the day I met you. I hate you so much. I will never ever forgive you for betraying me and the pack," Alpha Kane announced, shattering Ava's heart to tiny fragments.

"Go away, I don't want to ever see you. " Alpha Kane said with so much finality as Ava continued crying. If she had known that collaborating with Witch Jezebel would make her lose Alpha Kane as her lover then she would never have done it.

"Don't say that,I love you" She cried but Alpha Kane stood and started walking away. It turns out that Ava was so powerful. She undid the cloaking that Witch Jezebel had done.

Who is she? Alpha Kane could not help but think as he walked away.

He walked deeper into the rainforest. There is no way that he was going to go to the pack. He had lost his powers. How could he tell the pack that he had lost his powers because his mistress tricked her into meeting with the enemy of the pack and that is none other than witch Jezebel?

Ava could not allow Alpha Kane to walk away. She chased after him and this angered Alpha Kane even more.

"Where are you going? You should go back to the pack. The pack needs you," Ava begged.

"You can go to the pack. You have all the powers that you need to be Luna. That is what you wanted, didn't you?" Alpha Kane asked her.

"No," Ava shrieked.

"Leave me alone. Even if Witch Jezebel failed to kill me, what you have done has already killed me . Let me go or else I will do something bad to you!" Alpha Kane yelled.
