CHAPTER 41

THE NEW LUNA.
Alpha Kane did not waste any more time after Ava requested that the two of them should get in the shower together. He quickly gets rid of his clothes and joins her in the shower.

Ava was already in. She was standing right under the shower, allowing the warm water to run down her body..

He walked in and hugged her from behind.

He started touching her and teasing her with his kisses.

Ava pulled him aside and the two of them started kissing as if their lives depended on it.

They were so much turned on. Alpha Kane lifted her off the ground and pinned her on the wall. She wrapped her legs around him tightly just before he pushed his length into her dripping wet pot of flowers.

With every thrust he made Ava felt sweet shivers running through her entire body and she loved the fact that their love survived. She had missed him. She was so happy that finally things were just like the way she had always wanted, they were together and he had chosen her to be Luna.

They switched to the doggy position after they had their first orgasm. They did not stop until they had their second one.

Ava trembled in excitement as she gave him a bath. Alpha Kane also did the same. This was an intimate moment for the both of them. This is what they wanted to solidify their relationship.

They got out of the bathroom and got dressed. Ava thought that they were going to bed but it turned out that the Alpha had another plan.

"I want them to know that you are the new Luna," Alpha Kane told her and this shocked Ava.

"Baby, listen, can't it wait for tomorrow?Besides, it is already too late into the night," Ava countered.

"No, it's not too late, I want to fix a mistake that I made a few weeks ago. The Luna position belongs to you my love and you must get it tonight," He said and she could feel her heart melting in joy.

Alpha Kane was really a man of his word because, right after they dressed up, he went to ring the bell, alerting all the members of the pack.

Ava had fought so hard to be here and as the people started gathering, everything made sense. She realised that her fight to be with her true love was worth it.

Loving him has made her do unforgivable things that included taking him back despite the fact that he cheated.

All in all, she loves him and that is what is important.

Luna Cynthia had hardly slept when she heard the bell ring. The bell instantly reminded her of the day that she was chosen and accepted as the Luna of the pack. If she could only go back in time to that day because that was the happiest day of her life.

She covered herself up to the point that no one would recognise her before she went out to see what they were calling them for. The pack members were mad at her for killing witch Jezebel hence she had to hide her face. It was wise to remain in the house but since she wanted to know of everything that had been going on, she decided to go.

Ava might have been kind to her to ask Alpha Kane to set her free but that does not erase the fact that she took everything that belonged to her and that is her status and the man who made her feel so special, Alpha Kane.

There was a mixed reaction from the pack members when they realised that Alpha Kane was back and he was the one who called the meeting. Some members who did not approve of him leaving were so angry while others were happy that he was back to redeem them from bad leadership which was followed by no leadership at all.

Alpha Kane was so keen to notice the unpleasant energy that was hovering around them thus he decided to address it immediately.

"I know you are mad at me because Luna Cynthia said some things about me . He said that I left with her sister Ava. Anyway, I want to confirm to you that what she said is true. " Alpha Kane admitted and people started heckling him.

Ava who was just in the next room waiting to be called as the new Luna heard of the heckling and she felt so bad. Are they really going to accept her as Luna if they are heckling the Alpha?

"Shut up!" Alpha Kane yelled and thank goodness because they listened.

"I came back because of the love that I have for this pack. Luna Cynthia and the so-called Alpha Ian failed you guys. I am the only one who can help you get your werewolf powers back as I lead you in the right way," Alpha Kane announced and the people started paying attention to him.

This gave Ava the hope of being accepted.

"Tell us how you are going to fix our werewolf powers yet witch Jezebel is dead!" They demanded.

"I have her sister. Quiet, she has grown in this pack and that makes her one of us. Her name is Ava. She is half a werewolf and half a witch. She might not have a magnitude of powers to fix us at this moment but I am proud to say that she is working on it. Soon enough, she will fix the damage that Luna Cynthia did and also Witch Jezebel. Don't get me wrong, she does not approve of what Witch Jezebel did.

Now that I have settled that matter, I now take this juncture to denounce Luna Cynthia as Luna. Our Luna from today onwards will be none other than Luna Ava," Alpha Kane announced and the people clapped. The pack was desperate to have their werewolf powers back and hence they were going to do everything in their power to get it back.

Luna Ava could not imagine that the people were cheering for her to be their Luna. She found herself getting emotional.

"Come baby, the people have decided," Alpha Kane urged and Luna Ava got the courage to walk out and face the people.

They all continued clapping for her. They applauded her for being their Luna.

"Midnighters, behold your new Luna and your hope to get your werewolf powers back!" Alpha Kane announced and there was so much cheering.

"Now, allow her to say something," Alpha Kane insisted and a pin drop silence was maintained.

"I am humbled that you have accepted me as your Luna. I am going to do everything possible to ensure that I fix your werewolf powers," Luna Ava promised and they all cheered.

Alpha Kane embraces her before he kisses her in front of everyone. They all rooted for them.

"Thank you for showing us love Midnighters. We are going to bring back good leadership. Midnight pack will once again become a good place to be at!" Alpha Kane announced before he interlocked hands with Luna Ava and lifted them up to show unity.

There was more cheering from the crowd making them so happy.

Eventually Alpha Kane wished them a goodnight before the meeting was called off. This had turned out so much better than they had anticipated.

Cynthia felt so bad when she was denounced as Luna. To add salt to the injury, the people that had lied to her that they had her back betrayed her by cheering on the new Luna and that is Luna Ava.

She was willing to do everything in her power for this pack but they cancelled her because of only one mistake. Cynthia walked away from them. She did not want to be a member of the pack anymore. They were all double sided and also they betrayed her.

She had so much resentment especially towards Ava and Alpha Kane. The two of them dragged her in their mess and right now she was going through the most because of them.

Cynthia decided that she was going to get revenge. She was not only going to get revenge on Alpha Kane and Luna Ava, but also she was going to get revenge on the entire pack.

At this moment, she doesn't care about anyone. She doesn't even care if the pack is burnt to the ground. She knew how best to avenge and that is why she decided to leave the pack. She was going to look for allies to help her get their revenge. She had one selling point and that is, telling their rival that the pack member's don't have their werewolf powers anymore and Alpha Kane is not an exception.

Luna Ava and Alpha Kane went to bed feeling excited. The pack members had approved of their leadership and this meant so much to Luna Ava.

"I love you, thank you for recognizing your mistake and fixing it. It takes a true man to do that," Luna Ava commended him.

"I wronged you a few weeks ago. But, I am going to do all it takes to ensure that you don't go through the heartbreak that I caused, ever again. I love you my Luna, Luna Ava," Alpha Kane said as Luna Ava ran her fingers through his abs.
