CHAPTER 17

I AM BACK.
"So, what will you want in exchange? How will I repay your generosity?I would really love to repay your generosity because you have been kind to me." Ava told Witch Jezebel.

"Relax. I only want one thing and I will tell you when the time comes," Witch Jezebel said.

"Can't you just tell me now. I…" Ava countered but Witch Jezebel was over that discussion.

"Shh! Don't dwell on that. We need to fix you first,"She said and Ava was excited.

"Wait. Can I make a request?" Ava implored.

"Yes sure," Witch Jezebel said.

"Okay, here it goes. Can you please show me your home? I want to get to know you better now that we are friends and that we will work together soon. I need to know you," Ava begged with a sweet smile dancing on her lips.

"Is that all you want?" Witch Jezebel asked.

"Yes,okay, apart from the promises you have promised me," Ava clarified.

"Well, that is not a big deal. Come here," Witch Jezebel requested but Ava hesitated.

"I will not harm you, come on. Come here,we need to connect our energies for my spells to work" Witch Jezebel explained.

At this point Ava went for it. She knew that knowing where Witch Jezebel lived would help her in the near future.

Witch Jezebel stretched her hand and Ava held hers. They interlocked their fingers and Witch Jezebel chanted a wierd spell after asking her to close her eyes.

The moment she opened her eyes, she was in a cave. It was all dark in there making Ava feel goosebumps on her skin. What if she changes her mind and decides to kill her?

"Welcome home," Witch Jezebel said.

Ava wanted to free herself from her grip and look at the place but Witch Jezebel hesitated.

"I know that you can use this against me but let me promise you one thing. If you betray me, you will surely die. I will kill you with my bare hands," Witch Jezebel urged then freed her hand.

She lit a lantern and Ava was able to see the cave. There was literally nothing important. Only her beddings.

If she is a powerful witch, why was she in such a mystery? She would easily cast a spell to be rich. Why is she not doing that? Ava thought to herself.

"Doesn't it feel lonely, being here by herself?" Ava asked.

"Honestly, I needed a friend and that is why I am glad to have you," Witch Jezebel said, forcing a smile.

"Why live in the caves though?" Ava found herself asking.

"Well, blame Alpha Kane's parents," Witch Jezebel stated and all of a sudden her facial expression changed.

"What do they have to do with anything?" Ava was so inquisitive.

"I am not ready to share anything with you. You might betray me," Witch Jezebel said and she was not ready to change her mind.

There are so many secrets that Witch Jezebel had been keeping in her heart. So much bitterness that made her stay all alone as she looked for ways to make the people who betrayed her kind, pay. She had dedicated her life to carry out revenge. She chose to be the one who would ensure that the one who went before her had peace.

She is not going to stop until she ensures that Alpha Kane dies. She was going to use Ava to make that a reality.

"I guess I should get to work. I need to reverse that spell and give you back your werewolf powers," Witch Jezebel said.

"Thank you. You don't know how much I have missed switching to my wolf. '' Ava said with so much happiness. This is what she always wanted.

Witch Jezebel chanted a spell after asking her to close her eyes and she asked her to be calm. She was sure that the spell was going to work. After she was done, she asked her to open her eyes and Ava did.

Suddenly, she could hear little girls fetching firewood as they chatted among themselves. Ava felt so energetic. She even stood up and started moving heavy objects.

"Can I switch to be my wolf and back again?" Ava asked hoping to get a yes. She wanted to turn again so badly.

"Of course you can. Your spell has been reversed," Witch Jezebel said and she was in cloud nine of happiness. This was like a dream come true.

She sighed deeply as she reconnected with her wolf and she was so excited.

"Give me a minute," She begged before walking to the entrance of the cave.

Witch Jezebel followed her there. She wanted to see what was going on.

Ava's wolf wanted to go for a run hence she allowed herself to do that. She started running up the hill with her superspeed before her legs started turning to form light brown flur which spread to her entire body as she turned, her body swallowing her clothes. She could smell the sweet scent of hares nearby hence she could not resist the urge to hunt them down. Finally, she was able to hunt and have a real meal.

Her wolf loved eating raw meat and drinking blood from a hare. Failing to turn had limited them to only eat like humans and behave like humans and she did not like that.

Right now however, she had her power back. She could be her true happy self, making her wolf even happier.

"I think that is enough, come back now," She heard the Witch calling. As soon as she appeared, she switched to her human form.

Ava was proud of her decision. It seemed selfish but this is what she always wanted.

"You are free to go home. However, we will be meeting in the rainforest every week to catch up. You need to be an inside person. Someone told me that they are hunting me down but you have to keep me safe. You are my friend, remember," The witch said and Ava nodded.

"Adiós, let us meet next week. " The witch said with a smile.

"Thank you, friend," Ava added.

"One last thing," The witch said and Ava was confused.

"What?" She gushed.

"Make her the most beautiful girl ever," Witch Jezebel said as she pointed a wand at her and instantly Ava was perfect.

"What Just Happened ?" Ava asked when she felt some changes in her body.

Witch Jezebel commanded a mirror to form in front of her and Ava was impressed with her breathtaking beauty.

"Thank you," She said.

"You are my friend. Just assure me of your loyalty. " Witch Jezebel requested.

"I will always be loyal to you," Ava said as Witch Jezebel made the mirror disappear.

"You must be loyal. If not, I will kill you!" Witch Jezebel said without blinking.

"Go now. It's your time for revenge. Revenge is sweet. You will feel good. " Witch Jezebel said as she forced a smile and Ava smiled back. This is the moment she had been waiting for and it has finally come to pass.

After she bid Witch Jezebel farewell, Ava run uphill and turned to be her wolf. She ran all the way to the pack with her superspeed.

When she was at the outskirts, she turned out to be the most beautiful,powerful and sexy woman that witch Jezebel had made her to be.

She walked past a group of girls who looked at her admiringly as if she was an angel who had just fallen from the heavens.

Ava smiled as she walked past them. She could not help but think what Alpha Kane will feel when he sees this new girl. This sexy girl.

Anyway, he was never going to own her again. Not after all the disrespect, bitterness and hurt that he made her go through.

As for the witch, she was going to be smart. She is just using her. Once she gets her revenge, she will be the one who will kill her with her bare hands.

Witch Jezebel killed her parents. That is something that Ava will not forgive.

She was stupid to think that Ava was going to turn against her pack. Ava was loyal to the pack, that is what her parents taught her. She is just lying to her to get what she has wanted for sometime, revenge.

Cynthia was chilling by the balcony of the Alpha's mansion when she saw her. She was the most pretty girl ever. She had a clear skin, a banging body and most importantly her breathtaking beauty. She was straight from the heavens.

Cynthia felt very insecure. She felt her body shaking as she thought of who this girl was. Was she an intruder?

When Ava looked up as she walked into the pack, her eyes met her sisters.

Cynthia realised that the girl with the breathtaking beauty was Ava. She knew that Ava was back to take Alpha Kane from her but she told herself that she was not going to give up the love of her life. It is not going to be easy as Ava thinks.

Even if she is more beautiful, she will play her cards right. It is either she has Alpha Kane or no one else will.

Ava looked at her sister with a small smirk playing on her lips. She felt sorry for her because it was going to be a tough time for her.

She should never have said yes to Alpha Kane, when he asked her to be Luna.
