CHAPTER 35

IT IS A HORROR DREAM.
"Why did you do this? How could you even think about doing this?" Alpha Ian asked Luna Cynthia. How could she do this to them yet she calls herself their leader. Thanks to what she had done, how are they supposed to get their werewolf powers back? She only had one job and that is to stick to the plan but she failed horribly in that.

"She is the one who pissed me off. She mentioned Alpha Kane being together with Ava and this pissed me off. You know how much I despise and hate them. Obviously, after the mention, I could not resist the urge to kill her," Luna Cynthia confessed after she became somehow calm.

"You are the most selfish bitch that I have ever met. How dare you do this to the pack? I thought that you cared so much about your people. Before you did it, didn't you stop to even think about us for a second?" Alpha Ian lost it with her. She was very disappointed in her.

"Don't say that. I am really sorry. Honestly, if I could be able to fix what has happened, then I would do it" Luna Cynthia went on her knees begging and hoping that Beta Ian is going to forgive her. Honestly speaking, she regretted killing Witch Jezebel.

"You are the most selfish and stupid bitch that I have ever met. What is it about Alpha Kane and Ava? You have me, you should have at least thought about me instead of acting the way you acted. What is it about the two of them, huh?" Alpha Ian bashed her.

"Baby, I am really sorry, please find it in your heart to forgive me. You love me, please forgive me," Luna Cynthia said before she started crying. She wished that she could go back in time and bring Witch Jezebel back to life.

"You are an idiot, aren't you? Are you going to fix our werewolf powers because that is the only thing that can make me forgive you." Alpha Ian said as he huffed and puffed in anger.

"No, you know that I cannot " Luna Cynthia stated the obvious.

"Then you will never be forgiven by me and also the members of Midnight pack. As a matter of fact, I am going to assume my Beta position. I really wish that I had not joined your team because clearly you don't think. I now get to understand why Alpha Kane couldn't stand you to the extent that he ran away with Ava. You are a bad person. " Beta Ian said out of anger.

"Stop telling me that. You are hurting my feelings. I am sorry. I really am," Luna Cynthia cried. Beta Ian's words pierced through her like a sharp sword, hurting her so very much.

"The warriors are outside anticipating our return with the witch who is going to fix their powers back. I don't know what you are going to tell them because they are so hungry to turn and be able to switch to their werewolves whenever they wish," Beta Ian said and Luna Cynthia was lost. She didn't know what to do to get herself from this situation. This was bad. She wished that she had thought of them before killing witch Jezebel.

The pack is going to turn against her. She is going to lose everything including her Luna position.

"I am not going to cover for you. You have made very many wrong decisions including turning against Alpha Kane. I have been supporting you for so long but I can't anymore because you only think about yourself. Now that you have made the choice, go ahead and tell your people what you did!" Beta Ian ordered but Luna Cynthia hesitated. She was worried about how things would turn out to be. What if they turn against her? It would bring her pain to see her own people turn against her.

Beta Ian realised that Luna Cynthia was hesitant to go out and therefore he had to do the right thing. The right thing was to drag her out and to make her face the warriors and tell them the truth. She owes them that.

Luna Cynthia tried holding back so that she did not have to explain herself but Beta Ian used all his energy to pull her out of the cave.

Once she was out, Luna Cynthia didn't have to say anything because it was all clear. The blood stains all over her body screamed to the warriors that she
had killed the witch. She had gone against the plan and this angered the hell out of them.

It was so heartbreaking for the warriors to know that they will never switch to their wolves. Luna Cynthia had robbed them of their identity for good because of her own selfishness.

The warriors had zero tolerance for what she had done. They wanted to kill her too but Beta Ian intervened.

"She will never step back into the pack premises. She will stay in the wild and hopefully she dies out of starvation. The only time she will be welcomed back to the pack is when she comes back with solutions to fix our werewolf powers!" Beta Ian made the verdict. The warriors still wanted to kill her but eventually they agreed on the verdict.

Luna Cynthia cried begging for mercy and forgiveness but they all left her there. She felt as if the world had crumbled in front of her. Everything that she had worked hard for was stripped from her because of her own selfishness. She wanted to die.

She was used to leading and being around people. How is she supposed to stay in the wild by herself? What if Witch Jezebel's ghost comes to haunt her. This verdict was more than a death sentence. She was going to have very bad last days. She is going to pay for her selfishness.

Luna Cynthia broke down and sobbed. She wished that she was a good person. She wished that she was popular and a caring person. She was so disappointed in herself for everything that she had done wrong.

Luna Cynthia could not stay in that cave. She was so scared. Therefore she decided to go in the opposite direction from where Beta Ian and the rest of the warriors of the pack went. She did not know exactly where she was going but she kept on walking.

Her conscience was almost killing her and she had this feeling that she was going to run mad because of the intensity of what had happened in just a few seconds. How she had lost everything.

Anyway, as she thinks hard about what to do now, she recalls the people who brought her this predicament in the first place. That is none other than Ava and Alpha Kane. Before she dies, thanks to what they did, she was going to ensure that she kills them first.

The only person who cared about her rejected her. She has no one. She has no purpose. Therefore, she decided that her new purpose is to make the people who hurt her pay for their sins. Those people are none other than Ava and Alpha Kane.

They are responsible for unleashing the beast in her. It was going to be a rollercoaster for the two of them. They really don't know what she was capable of. If she had managed to kill Witch Jezebel with her bare hands, then she was not going to hesitate but to kill the two of them with her bare hands too.

Ava could easily turn to her wolf and rush back to the cave but since she was in the company of Alpha Kane, the two of them chatted as they walked.

Also, she did not want to ruin her relationship with him by showing that she was very powerful yet Alpha Kane loved to be in control.

As the two of them neared the cave, Ava could feel a swarm of butterflies being released on her stomach making her body become stiff. She felt her heart becoming so heavy.

She could already smell a rat. Something is definitely wrong somewhere.

"Should I go in with you? I swear to you, there is nothing wrong. Jez is probably sleeping," Alpha Kane said confidently.

"Quiet," Ava warned as she hurried into the cave.

She was welcomed by a trail of blood and some house flies which danced around.

Ava felt a sudden cold feeling sweeping through her that her legs suddenly became heavy.

She however gave herself a pep talk convincing herself that she could do this. She recalled what Alpha Kane said that Witch Jezebel is a witch and she could always protect herself and she hung on to that even though everything else screamed otherwise.

Dragging her foot forward, she felt as if her heart had been forcefully pulled out of her body when she saw her sister's body, with her head a few yards from her.

Ava was in total shock as she rushed to piece together her head and body. She kept telling herself that this was a horror dream and she was going to wake up from it in the morning.

She cannot lose her sister. Not now.
