CHAPTER 33

YOU HAVE TO DIE.
"Come on baby, just say it. Don't be afraid, my love, talk to me" Alpha Kane begged when Ava was silent for a while.

Ava was actually contemplating if it was the right request to ask him. Honestly that is what she needed. She was afraid of him breaking her heart once again.

"Okay, here it goes, I really want you to promise me that you will never ever hurt me again," Ava said as she maintained eye contact with him.

"Is that all?" Alpha Kane was surprised. He had expected her to ask the hardest thing ever but she is just asking her for a simple favor. Something that he had already decided on when he came to ask her for forgiveness.

"Yes,"Ava nodded. She was sure that this is what she wanted.

"Consider it done baby. I will never ever hurt you. I will make you happy instead. You will never feel unloved" Alpha Kane promised before standing on his feet to pull her to a warm hug.

Ava could feel the warmth that she had been craving for ever since the day that he rejected her. The hug reminded her of the good old days when they were happily together.

As Alpha Kane continued hugging her tightly, she found herself crying out of joy. She had thought that she had lost Alpha Kane for good after he left.

Seeing him coming back to her and being sorry for all the pain he caused her made her feel so good.

Being close to him makes her be more sure that she loves him so very much and that is never going to change. No matter what had happened between them.

She will ensure that their relationship will work. They have learnt the hard way when they both rejected each other and they were never going to repeat the same mistake.

"Can we go somewhere , just the two of us? I need a moment with you. Here I feel that Witch Jezebel is watching us," Alpha Kane suggested after breaking from the hug.

"Witch Jezebel is my sister. Call her Jez. I did not know this but my mom was actually a witch. I possess both the witch powers and werewolf powers because my father was a werewolf," Ava explained.

"Okay, let us go somewhere private and just be by ourselves.I have missed you, you know." Alpha Kane said this and winked at her and Ava felt that desire to be alone with him. Plus it had been long ever since the two of them had been intimate.

"Let me tell my sister," Ava said just in time before Jez appeared.

"What is he still doing here? You do not deserve my sister. " Jez was still angry at him for how he treated Ava earlier.

"Please take it easy Jez. The truth is that I love him. He has promised to change. Actually, the two of us are going out for a walk," Ava said.

"No, you are not leaving. He will hurt you again," Jez was so defensive.

"Come on, I won't hurt her. I have already assured her of my love. I love her," Alpha Kane explained, hoping that Jez will understand that he is a changed man.

"Leave me to it,"Ava begged Alpha Kane to be quiet as she moved closer to where Jez was.

"Listen sister, I love him. I want to be with him for a short while. I know that you are looking out for me, but trust me, I have it handled," Ava tried to convince Jez.

" I don't think that this is a good idea. Plus I want you home. I want to teach you new spells," Jez said.

"It won't be long. Okay, bye now," Ava said hurriedly before she went ahead to go with Alpha Kane who was waiting for her.

Deep inside Jez's heart, she felt that she did not want her sister to leave her. She could not tell what the feeling was,but it was so strong, something she had not felt before.

Anyway, she had to let it go since she was willing to do all it takes to make her sister happy.

After Alpha Kane and Ava left, Jez was kind of tired hence she decided on going to take a nap.

Ava felt bad to let her sister down by choosing to leave but she had to do it anyway because of the love that she felt for Alpha Kane.

As the two walked into the woods, Alpha Kane interlocked his fingers with hers and this made her feel good. It gave her the reassurance that she needed. She decides to forget all about Jez and focus on what was going on between her and Alpha Kane.

They walked deeper into the woods. They did not say a word to each other. They allowed their hands to do the talking.

Once they were like a kilometre from where Jez's cave was located, Alpha Kane sat on top of a log and asked Ava to sit on his laps.

Ava did aa she was told and she could feel goosebumps forming on top of her skin as Alpha Kane ran his fingers through her hair while stroking it.

"You don't know how much I have missed you, my love. I don't know how to say this for you to believe me but I am so very sorry. I was telling you all those horrible words because I was hurt. I did not mean them. The truth is that I love you and I adore you very much," Alpha Kane confessed after the two of them stared at each other's eyes deeply.

At this point, Ava could not control the strong desire to kiss him. She had missed how sweet his lips tasted.

As the cool breeze reverberated in the air, Ava inches closer to him and captures his lips in a kiss. The moment he started kissing back, she felt all her problems go away. It was as if nothing else mattered in the world except the two of them. Therefore, she did not not hold back. She kept kissing him and rolling her tongue over his.

Being away from him had made her miss him terribly. She actually never knew if it would get to this but she wanted him, fast and rough. She wanted him to make love to her.

The pleasure she felt when he started kissing her neck made her realise that the wait to win him back was worth it. He was indeed the prize. There is no one really compared to him. He is the only one who has ever made her feel good.

He had fucked up before and so has she. There was no judgement whatsoever because to make an error is being human. No one is perfect.

Luna Cynthia was leading the warriors as they got around the cave, ready to attack the Witch. She asked Alpha Ian and the rest of the warriors to stay behind as she goes in to check if she is actually in the cave at the moment.

"Let me go with you," Alpha Ian begged.

"I can do this alone," She shrugged.

"You better stick to the plan. She needs to remain alive so that she can fix our werewolf powers," Alpha Ian insisted.

"I will," Luna Cynthia nodded as she skillfully ran from the hideout, into the cave after looking around.

As soon as she was in the cave, she found her tucked in bed sleeping. Luna Cynthia smiled to herself. Finally, the evil witch is going to pay for the pain that she caused the entire pack.

Alpha Kane had started undressing Ava when suddenly she felt a dire need to go home.

"Stop," Ava yelled.

"But why? Is everything alright?" Alpha Kane asked. He wondered what wrong he had done in that flip of a second. All was well between them, what has happened now to anger Ava?

"I want to go home now!" Ava ordered.

"But why baby? Jez is a big girl. She is okay. Let us focus on ourselves. You don't know how much I am turned on already," Alpha Kane confessed.

"I feel so uncomfortable. I am so scared about my sister. Let us just go home," Ava begged him.

Jez was sleeping soundly when she heard a tap on her back. She ignored it but quickly opened her eyes when she heard the gentle voice of her mother.

"I am happy that the two of you are together now," Her mum said and Jez knew that she was exactly referring to her meeting up once again with her sister Daya.

"I miss you so much mum. I wish that you could be here with us. We could be a complete family, just like you have always wanted," Jez mumbled.

"You have to go now," Her mum said and that is when Jez woke from her deep slumber.

She was completely taken aback when she saw Luna Cynthia standing in front of her with a sword swinging in her hands.

"You must die today! "Luna Cynthia was sure of this.
