CHAPTER 16

A WHORE AND A LIAR.
Cynthia knocked on Alpha Kane's office door gently waiting for him to get it for her.

"Who is there?" Alpha Kane asked. He was exhausted. He wanted to be by himself. Witch Jezebel had gotten on his nerves. He swore that if he ever finds her, he will kill her with his bare hands.

"Come on baby. Stop being angry. It is me, Luna Cynthia. I want to make you feel better," Luna Cynthia hushed.

"I told you to go away, didn't I?' Alpha Kane asked, raising his voice.

"Come on baby. Come and get the door, trust me, you are not going to regret," Luna Cynthia begged.

"Go away Cynthia. You cannot calm me down. Only one person could and as you know she is no longer here," Alpha Kane said and Cynthia felt as if she had been stabbed by a thousand swords in her heart. Her knees suddenly become weak.

Why was Ava ruining every beautiful thing that comes in her path? She is not even here but Alpha Kane still wants her.

She held the wall with her hand for support as she walked away from the office.

Tears fell from her eyes but she did not care. At least the tears were helping her get rid of this anger and bitterness that she was feeling in her heart.

She got to the kitchen and was unable to walk. She sat on the kitchen stools and allowed herself to cry even more.

Beta Ian was going to get lunch for Alpha Kane when she heard her sobbing.

He wanted to go away but he decided to see what the heck was going on with her. Actually, this will be a payback now that she disrespected him the last time that they talked.

"What is going on with my Luna?" Beta Ian asked as he stood right in front of her.

"Go away, Beta!" Luna Cynthia chuckled in between sobs.

"How can I go away yet my Luna is crying. I must ensure that my Luna is okay," Beta Ian teased. The truth is that he loved seeing her in tears. She forgot the love that the two of them shared and went ahead to accept Alpha Kane's proposal and this hurt him a lot.

"Alpha Kane hurt me…" Luna Cynthia confessed but regretted the decision when Beta Ian used that to hurt her even more.

"What were you expecting? You dumped me like a piece of shit. Karma is really a reality, your grace," Beta Ian said enthusiastically.

"Leave me alone. I command you to leave!" Luna Cynthia cried.

"You still have a chance with me. Break up with the Alpha and come to me," Beta Ian said and Cynthia lost it.

How dare he say that after all the hurt that he put her through.

"I can never be with you. You are an imbecile to think that I can be with someone like you," Luna Cynthia spat.

"I was joking. Who wants to be with you anyway. You are so desperate and readily available and that is why people take advantage of you," Beta Ian said and almost regretted it when Luna Cynthia reacted to that.

"You know what, I have heard enough from you,"Luna Cynthia shouted as she wiped her tears away.

"The Alpha must know this. He must know that you do not respect m e yet I am second in command in this pack. You deserve to be jailed so that you can learn your lesson," Luna Cynthia warned before she got out of the kitchen and headed back to Alpha Kane's office.

"Please Cynthia, don't do that, I am really sorry" Beta Ian begged as he trailed behind her.

"A point of correction. My name is Luna Cynthia or her grace. Once again you have disrespected me. You deserve to be jailed for a few days so that you will accord me the respect that I deserve from now moving forward," Luna Cynthia said as she knocked on Alpha Kane's door once again.

Alpha Kane was drowning himself in alcohol when she knocked on the door.

"Come in," He mumbled thinking that it was someone else other than Luna Cynthia.

"Luna Cynthia, just go away," Alpha Kane was disinterested to see Luna Cynthia appear before him.

"No, I cannot go away. This cannot wait. I want Beta Ian to be punished. That man has disrespected me yet I am the Luna of this pack," Luna Cynthia said as she paced around the room.

"You must do something! I am your Luna!" Luna Cynthia ordered.

"Please sir, do not punish me, it was a misunderstanding," Beta Ian begged as he walked into the office.

"If you do not do something about this then I will tell the pack that Beta Ian disrespected me and you did nothing. From there we will see how it will turn out to be," Luna Cynthia hissed.

Luna Cynthia was sure that the people loved her. If she would stand up and say that Beta Ian disrespected her and the Alpha did nothing, the pack would take the matter into their own hands. They might even kill him. The pack respects Luna and the Alpha so much and it is actually a treason to disrespect them.

"Is all this allegation true?" Alpha Kane asked. He was already tired of all these issues that were going on disturbing his peace of mind. He missed the time when he was a little boy with no responsibility. He was free to do what he pleases because his dad took care of the pack. It seemed easy those times but now that he is the Alpha, he understands that it took a lot of sacrifice for his dad to put the pack together.

"No," Beta Ian whined.

"Yes. Do something your honor, or the people will decide," Luna Cynthia warned.

Alpha Kane knew that he could not lose Luna Cynthia. He needed her for revenge. The pack needed her more than they would ever need Beta Ian.

"So what do you suggest that we do?"Alpha Kane asked Luna Cynthia who was happy because he had done her the honors of deciding his punishment.

"Please Luna Cynthia, have mercy on me," Beta Ian was on his knees and this made Luna Cynthia happier. She loved to see him beg.

"I want you to be jailed for a month. My decision is final!" Luna Cynthia ordered and Beta Ian's heart sank. No, the jail was a horrible place. He cannot be jailed.

"But please sir, do something. I have been your friend since childhood," Beta Ian begged, looking at Alpha Kane hoping that he would do something.

"Her decision is final!" Alpha Kane repeated and Beta Ian started crying.

"Guards! Guards!" Luna Cynthia called them loud enough for them to hear and they came running.

"Get this man out of my presence! Jail him!" Luna Cynthia ordered and Beta Ian was dragged out of the office. He cried for mercy as he went but Luna Cynthia did not care. She was happy that she had finally made Beta Ian pay for the hurt that he made her go through back then when they were dating.

"Do you think what you have done is right?" Alpha Kane asked after a few minutes of silence elapsed.

Truth is that Alpha Kane felt sorry for the Beta. He could not do anything though because his hands were tied.

"Forget about him. He totally deserves to be in jail. By the way, did you know that he used to fuck my sister?" Luna Cynthia lied to the Alpha.

"Stop lying to me. Ava was better than that, I trusted her," Alpha Kane was so defensive of her.

" I don't really know why you trust my sister so much but I am here to tell you that my sister was a whore. She loved sleeping with different men. You were not the only one," Luna Cynthia continued lying and Alpha Kane started to shake because of the anger he felt.

How could Ava do this to him yet she assured him that she loved him so much.

"You should focus on loving me. I am the only person who loves you right. She was just a whore," Luna Cynthia added on the lies as he gently massaged his shoulders from behind.

Alpha Kane felt so defeated and betrayed. He had thought that Ava loved him but it turns out that Ava was nothing but a liar. She was a whore.

"Undress for me baby, I think that I want to make love to you!" Alpha Kane confessed.

He wanted to get rid of all this horrible feeling he had in him because Ava was nothing but a whore and a liar.

"Sure baby. I am all yours," Luna Cynthia said with a smile from ear to ear as she lifted the dress out of her body.

"I want to make you a man. Forget about Ava, that little filthy whore," Luna Cynthia said.

Luna Cynthia was happy that all this lies he was poisoning Alpha Kane with was working to her advantage.
