CHAPTER 26

SHE IS EVIL.
As Ava watched Alpha Kane walk away, tears welled up in her eyes. There was a constant throbbing at the back of her throat and when she swallowed, it turned out to be painful and she cried even more.

It sounds ironic to cry because she wanted to hurt Alpha Kane but it turns out that inside those walls that she had built around her heart after the betrayal, there was always love for Alpha Kane inside her heart.

Ava decided to run back and talk to Witch Jezebel. She is not going to stop until she ensures that Witch Jezebel restores Alpha Kane's powers because that is the only way that he would accept to go back to the pack. He is the Alpha and the pack needs him. He was such a good Alpha. Ava did not want the pack to suffer because of the wrong that she did.

Witch Jezebel was still sleeping when Ava got to her hence Ava shook her until she woke up. She wanted her to fix him this very minute.

Witch Jezebel was puzzled seeing Ava in front of her when she opened her eyes.Witch Jezebel couldn't remember what had happened just yet. The last thing she remembered was that Ava was clocked and so did Alpha Kane.

She quickly sits up and when she realises that Alpha Kane was nowhere to be seen, the reality hits her and she suddenly hugs Ava.

Ava accepted to be embraced by her because she wanted her to do her a favour.

Witch Jezebel knew of one thing. The only person who could reverse clocking is her sister. Maybe her sister did not die as she thought. She is alive and she is none other than Ava.

The hug was getting longer than Ava anticipated and she knew that she had to state her case and hope that Witch Jezebel would grant her her wishes.

"I don't know why you are hugging me. Anyway, I want you to fix Alpha Kane's werewolf powers," Ava said after breaking from the hug.

"Is it really you?" Witch Jezebel could not believe it. She had thought that her sister died, long time ago.

"What are you talking about?" Ava asked as she jutted her eyebrows up in surprise.

"You are my sister," Witch Jezebel said with a huge smile but Ava shook her head in disagreement.

"I don't know what you are talking about. You must have lost your mind," Ava warned.

Luna Cynthia begged him to pump even more faster as they made love and Beta Ian knew that he was not going to last long himself, and he would rather they cum together. He pushed into Luna Cynthia over and over again just like she had requested until she screamed out his name, spilling herself over as her orgasm shook her entire body.

Beta Ian leant down, kissing her. The two of them clinging on each other and she was soon spilling himself deep inside her- his orgasm taking over.

They rode their high together and he soon collapsed beside her, both panting loudly.

"That was incredible," Luna Cynthia whispered as she smiled at him.

"That it was ,baby...It was," Beta Ian totally agreed with her before kissing her on top of her head.

A comfortable silence filled the room as they lay, wrapped on each other. Luna Cynthia was drawing circles on his chest, kissing it now and then randomly.

Luna Cynthia was happy that finally Beta Ian was back to her life and unlike Alpha Kane, he had decided to be on her team. He had decided to stick with her. This is true love. He was there for her when no one else wasn't.

"Baby, I think it is time for us to tell the pack of the new leadership," Luna Cynthia said after a few minutes elapsed.

"Are you sure about this?"Beta Ian asked. She was not sure if things would turn out as he had anticipated.

"What if the pack rejects me?" Beta Ian asked again.

"Trust me baby. All will be well. The pack loves me and we will use this to our advantage. You have nothing to worry about. Now that they love me, they will love you too." Luna Cynthia assured him.

"Okay baby, I trust you," Beta Ian said when he realised that Luna Cynthia was confident about this. Beta Ian looked at her admirably. He loved her, now that she was about to fulfil his wildest dream of becoming an Alpha. Who knew? He thought that he would be a Beta for the rest of his life. This is impactful. His first son would be an Alpha, not a Beta as he had assumed.

"Come, let's shower and get ready. In an hour, you will be the Alpha of Midnight pack. People will be referring to you as Alpha Ian," Luna Cynthia stated and Beta Ian was filled with so much excitement.

"Yes baby," Beta Ian said with lots of excitement as they went to the washroom.

They showered together, each stopping to tease and play before they were all clean. After the shower, Luna Cynthia dressed up in a white maxi dress and Beta Ian wore one of Alpha Kane's black tuxedos.

"You look so hot tonight," Luna Cynthia complimented him after he got dressed.

"You too Luna. You are the most beautiful girl ever. I still can't believe that you are mine to love and to hold," Beta Ian complimented her and they kissed briefly on the lips.

"Go and ring the bell darling, I am ready," Luna Cynthia requested and Beta Ian didn't hesitate. It is now or never.

Beta Ian had a huge grin on his face as he went ahead to ring the bell tha alerted all the members of the pack to gather for the huge announcement. The idea of Beta Ian being the Alpha brought him so much pride. Finally, he is going to get the position which he had always wanted for a very long time.

Beta Ian went to join Luna Cynthia where she was waiting, so as to address the people, after ringing the bell. He watched in admiration as the members of the pack were flocking in and this made Beta Ian and Luna Cynthia happier. Finally, this was going to be a reality.

Eventually,everyone gathered and Luna Cynthia started addressing them. She did not care how they were going to take this but she knew that this was a command from her and they were supposed to respect it. If anyone goes against her then she is going to punish them dearly.

Beta Ian gave Luna Cynthia an affirmative nod and Luna Cynthia began her speech.

"I know that you are probably wondering why I called you here at this time. Well, I could not keep calm with the good news that I am about to share with all of you. You will thank me . I promise you. Anyway, before that, I have to call out something that was done to me and I condone it.

As you know, Alpha Kane chose me to be Luna of Midnight pack and all of you accepted me with open arms. I will never take that for granted. Well, I was happy to be Luna until I found out that Alpha Kane was nothing but a liar. Behind my back, Alpha Kane was fucking my sister and if that is not enough, he run away with her and if you ask me where they are at this moment, I don't have an answer for you," Luna Cynthia said and paused to see the reaction from the people.

There was murmuring from the members of the pack. Luna Cynthia could pick one or two sentences and they all portrayed that they were disappointed in Alpha Kane's behaviour. The pack valued loyalty in every aspect including the marriage institution but Alpha Kane broke it.

"What you guys don't know is that my sister is a witch, with a little bit of werewolf blood. Alpha Kane knew that she was an outsider but she did not banish her!She welcomed someone who shares blood with our enemy, here!"Luna Cynthia lied about Alpha Kane knowing the truth about Ava's identity. The truth however is that no one knew of this, including Ava herself. Luna Cynthia had been the one who was begged by her parents to keep it but she has let it out in front of the entire pack for her own selfish reasons.

The members of the pack were so mad and angry at Alpha Kane and it took a while before Luna Cynthia finally calmed them down.

"I know. You don't want him as your Alpha and that is why I am here. I am here to respect your wishes. Moving forward, I will remain the Luna who will grant you your wish for revenge against witches including Ava. I cannot do it alone. I need a helper. I chose Beta Ian to be the next Alpha. He has served this pack well as Beta and I am sure that he will make a great Alpha. " Luna Cynthia announced and the majority of members clapped while a few didn't.

Luna Cynthia was confused. She did not want to rule a divided pack. She decided to get to the root of the rejection.

"Mark Birgam, why aren't you clapping?" Luna Cynthia called him out.

"I don't believe you. Alpha Kane has been nothing but good to me. I don't believe you!" Mark Birgam said and all the few rebels clapped.

Luna Cynthia was so angry. How dare Mark Birgam question her authority yet he was just a nobody.

"Cease him!" Luna Cynthia ordered the guards who immediately arrested Mark Birgam.

Mark was scared. He had thought that he was free to voice out his opinion but it turns out that Luna Cynthia was going to lead the pack in a dictatorship way.

"Anyone who wants to be on Kane's side will also be arrested and thrown to jail. He is no longer the Alpha. Alpha Ian is the true Alpha," Luna Cynthia yelled and a pin drop silence was maintained.

" Mark Birgam, you have a chance to free yourself. Tell everyone gathered here that you acknowledge Alpha Ian as your Alpha and I will set you free," Luna Cynthia gave him the chance out.

"Over my dead body," Mark Birgam yelled.

"Guards, lock him up for the rest of his life!" Luna Cynthia commanded and everyone was scared.

"Anyone who is against me will suffer his fate. Now, clap as we welcome the new Alpha, Alpha Ian," Luna Cynthia shouted and the members of the pack did not have any option but to applaud. They were against it but no one was ready to come out. They did not want a lifetime of imprisonment.

Alpha Ian was so excited. He however contained himself before he made the speech.

"Hi Midnighters. I hope that you are okay . As for me, I am perfectly fine. You have heard what Luna Cynthia had said and I am here to second her . I am warning you, don't you dare revolt against us because it won't be good. I am the Alpha, Luna Cynthia is the Luna and we want you all to do as we say. We are in command now! Don't say that we didn't warn you when you pull up a stunt just like Mark Birgam has done" Alpha Ian warned and the members of the pack knew that this would be very bad leadership.

They hoped that the true Alpha, Alpha Kane would come and use his werewolf powers to fight Luna Cynthia and Beta Ian and in return he would have saved them all.

They regretted accepting Luna Cynthia in the first place. They could also understand why Alpha Kane dumped her. It is because she is an evil woman.

She doesn't deserve to be a leader and neither does Alpha Ian.
