Chapter Five

Lincoln

The first thing that I do upon waking is thumb out a text to Raleigh, wanting her to know that I'm thinking about her.

**Lincoln: Good morning beautiful.**
**Lincoln: I really liked spending time with you last night and would like to see you again, maybe tonight if you're available and it's not too soon.**

I hit sent and then realize that I really *did* like spending time with her, and she didn't even make me cum. Although, the Raleigh of my imagination sure as hell did, twice. But, although it's the last thing that I need or should want right now, I find that I actually do *want* to spend more time with her. I actually want to get to know her and see if maybe there could be something between us.
Fucking around is all fine and good, but watching Bos and Aspen, I've found myself thinking *what if* a lot more than I've been willing to admit, even to myself.
A knock at my bedroom door startles me, pulling me from my thoughts. Dad pokes his head through the crack he's made in the door with his eyes closed.
"Am I okay to open my eyes?" He asks with a smile on his face.
"Yes!" I sigh and shake my head. Then, because I'm tired of him doing this every time he enters my room, I ask, "I'm never going to live that down, am I?"
He walks further into the room, his arms folded over his chest as he lifts an eyebrow, his look of incredulity unmistakable.
"I was thirteen!" I groan, remembering that evening well. It was the summer before Eighth grade year, Dad had dropped all four of us boys off at the pool and it was the first time that I had seen Erica Martinez since school let out. She was wearing this tiny bikini that left *very* little to the imagination and showed just how completely she had filled it out in all the right places.
With the Image of her from that afternoon stuck in my head, I was horny as hell and decided that I couldn't take the ache in my balls any longer.
Dad busted into my room at the same time that I moaned out her name and came all over my stomach.
Interrupting my thoughts once more, he says, "And seeing you rubbing one out is an image that will forever be burned into my retinas. Not to mention one that I never wanted to see, nor *ever* want a repeat viewing of."
I try to bite back a grin as I nod in understanding, can't say I'd want to watch him, or anyone else for that matter, as he rubbed one out either.
"Breakfast is ready," he then says, changing the subject to why he came in here in the first place. "Will you let the other four know?"
"You got it!" I say, throwing the covers back and getting out of bed.
After taking a much-needed piss, I make my way to my brothers' rooms—not at all surprised when I find Aspen in Boston's bed when I get to his room.
As we all take our places, I take in the array of food placed around the table, my stomach growling at the sight and smells.
"So, kids." Dad starts just as we finish filling our plates. Glancing at each of my brothers, I find that they have the same confused expressions on their faces and turn my attention to our dad, waiting to see what he's going to say next. "Ashlynn and I would like to incorporate a new Saturday night tradition."
At the mention of this, dread churns in my gut. *Don't get me wrong, I love my family and I love spending time with them, but I feel like Saturday is the only day out of the week that I can just do whatever* I *want to do.*
"So, we would like to make Saturday night Family Game Night," Ashlynn says from next to Dad.
"What?" I ask because surely I misheard him. *Family Game Night? We have never had a Family Game Night and I have absolutely NO interest in starting now.*
The other three must feel similarly because they each lend their own variation of my sentiment on the idea.
"I know that you all have busy lives, but we would like to take time out of everyone's busy schedules one night a week and set down and just spend time together," Ashlynn says, sounding genuinely understanding, yet excited at the idea as she takes in each of us from her seat at the table.
I can tell that Dad is irritated as he casts each of us boys' glares. Clearing his throat, he says "As Ashlynn said, you all have lives, maybe even girlfriends or a boyfriend, I don't know, but this is important to us. Heck, bring your girlfriends or boyfriends if you'd like, just give us a heads up first, so that we know to plan for extra company." Ashlynn coughs, clearly trying to get Dad's attention, looking clearly irritated at this new piece of information. *Good, I'm not exactly thrilled about your news either.* "But, also remember that this is *family* night," he says, trying to smooth over her irritation. "Girlfriends and boyfriends won't be allowed all of the time and friends, sorry, I know it seems hypocritical, but they can have you any other night out of the week."
Thinking about the text that I'd sent Raleigh earlier, asking to hang out, I ask, "So this starts tonight?" I bite my lips as I wait for their answer, wondering if I should invite Raleigh over here now since I won't be able to go out and do something.
"Yes, son. It starts tonight." Dad says with a sigh of frustration.
All I say in return is, "Okay." *What else can I say? They've practically taken the choice away from us."
"Did you already have plans?" Ashlynn asks.
Figuring that I might as well tell them, I blurt, "Well, I met this girl, Raleigh, last night." I glance over at Bos and then at Aspen, trying to gauge their reaction before continuing. "and we were supposed to hang out."
"Well, son, just invite her," Dad says like it should be a no-brainer. "That's what we said, right?"
"Yeah, it's just..." I pause, nerves getting the best of me as I try to figure out how to phrase this nicely, "I like her and," I start, glancing at each person at the table, "I don't want to run her off because, well, if no one has noticed, this family can get kind of crazy."
"Who are you calling crazy?" Jax shouts, thankfully breaking the tension in the room.
"When the shoe fits..." Aspen says with a sly smile, which makes all of us guys crack up laughing. *She really does fit right in with the rest of us,* I think as I shove a bite of my breakfast in my mouth, praying that the subject of Family Game Night has been dropped for the time being.
