Chapter 20 Slap him on the head

I struggled to see, but my body felt like a hand was pulling me away from the sea.
The body floats into mid-air, and the shadows beneath the surface of the sea gradually take on an outline.

"You're finally awake! I thought you would stay asleep like this."
Klopp jumped over and hugged me, emotionally.

"How is your body? Recovered?"
I asked, sizing him up, which is what I desperately wanted to know.
"I'm fine, I'm fine already, thanks to the dew you sent Ike to collect and the note you wrote, not only me but all the bloods in the city are back to normal."
Klopp said, placing a golden medal in my hand.
I picked up the medal and looked at it. The back was engraved with a crown and a pair of bat wings.
"What is this?"
I have never seen such a medal with a red stone set on the front, larger than the nail cap of my thumb.
"You have saved the lives of hundreds of bloods in the city, and as thanks, this is the medallion given to you by Duke Taz, with which you can move freely in the human world."
Klopp said with a smile.
"But I can't leave the estate."
I looked at him and replied that I had not forgotten that I was his pet.
"Come with me and I'll show you something you'll like."
Klopp took my hand and was about to walk out the door.
But I hadn't gotten out of bed and walked around for half a month, and just as my feet touched the ground, my body fell to the floor without listening to me.
I'm sure I'll fall hard.
A second before I fell to the ground, Klopp reached out and caught me.
"I'm sorry, I forgot you've been laid up for half a month."
Klopp said, picking me up straight away and heading out.
"Sir, being seen by others will cause trouble."
I said to Klopp with a frown.
As a pet, it is not eligible for the owner to hold and walk.
"Trust me, no one is going to say anything."
Klopp said.
Walked into Klopp's lab before he placed me in a soft chair.
On my last visit, I didn't look closely at this room because of my fear of Phil.
There were all kinds of instruments and equipment for experiments, and some things I had never seen before.
Klopp went into another small room and soon came back.
In his hand, holding a wooden box, his hands are also wearing thick gloves.
Walked up to me before he opened the box.

The finger ring is set with stones like flames.
"This is a cross boomerang made of flame stone, a gift for you."

"Sir, you're giving it to me? Why?"
I asked, puzzled and curious.

Klopp kept his smile.

I can't read his mind. I'm hardly in danger as long as I'm around him, but he wants me to learn to use weapons?
Or a weapon capable of killing vampires?
"Jenny, maybe one day in the future, you'll understand."
Klopp said to me.
"Sir Count, Duke Taz and Miss Mireya are here and are waiting for you in the hall."
Ike walked in and spoke to Klopp respectfully.
Klopp looked at me with some difficulty.
Even though he could carry me around the estate, he would only anger Duke Taz by doing that in front of him.
"Sir, I'd like to stay in the lab, is that okay?"
I asked with a smile.
"I'll be back soon."
Klopp finished and walked out.
I could probably guess that Mireya was here for the purpose of her marriage to Klopp.
As a pet, I don't know what Klopp would choose, and even if he didn't want to, Duke Taz would surely try to get him and Mireya together.
It will take me a little while to be able to walk as I did before, and now I can only sit in a chair.
"Jenny!"
Anna's voice came through the door, and she deliberately lowered her voice.
She stretched her head and looked inside to make sure I was the only one in there before she walked in.
"I bet you're wondering what Mr. Earl and the others were talking about in the hall."
Anna took two handsets and handed one to me.

"When I saw Duke Taz and Mireya heading down the hall just now, I rigged up a wireless microphone under the table."
Anna said smugly.
And I felt helpless, she seemed to be curious about everything that was happening in the estate.
I took the earpiece and listened carefully.
As I expected, they were indeed discussing Klopp and Mireya's marriage.
But both sides seem to be a little angry.
"Klopp, in order for you to get enough glory, your human pet are given medals to enable her to move around in the human world."
Duke Taz was visibly a little annoyed.
