Chapter 22 Either he waits to be saved

Perhaps because my body was so weak, Anna's actions put me to sleep for nearly two hours.
When I opened my eyes, there was a sobbing sound in my ears, and it seemed to be Anna.
I looked over sideways, just in time to see Anna, kneeling outside, through the open door of the room.
I was lying on the bed in Klopp's room. She must have been punished.
After the dip, my body recovered a bit, or at least my mental state was much better than before.
I sat up with my body supported, and the numbness I felt when my feet hit the ground was much lessened, so walking should be no problem.
After standing up, I walked to the door of the room.
The man in front of Anna was none other than Klopp, but the look on his face told me he was angry.
The moment he saw me, Klopp hurriedly approached.
"Jenny, are you okay?"
Klopp was nervous and anxious to make sure I was out of danger.
"I'm fine, sir, why is Anna here?"
I glanced at Anna, who was already crying and her eyes were starting to get red and swollen.
"Wasn't she the one who tried to hurt you?"
Klopp glanced at Anna and the anger began to flare up again.
"Sir, you misunderstand Anna, she is doing me a favor, but the bathtub is just too slippery, it's not Anna's fault!"
I seriously explain all this.
In a way, I've come to think of Anna as a friend, even though I know that she's also a vampire.
"Jenny, if she really wants to hurt you, you don't have to be afraid, I will help you."
Klopp didn't seem willing to believe what I was saying, which was a bummer for me.
"Sir, I promise you that everything I said is true. anna has been very good to me and she is also my first friend since I came to the manor and I don't want to lose her."
I stood up straight and said to Klopp.
Klopp thought for a moment and gestured that Anna could stand up.
Anna looked at me, tears kept falling down, full of disbelief.
"Since you said she's your friend, I'll believe her for once."
Klopp is no longer as angry as he was a moment ago, and I can't help but be relieved.
"Jenny, thank you."
Anna said to me as she wiped her tears.
"Maybe I should apologize to you for letting you get chastised for me, but I hope that this one won't affect us as friends."
I said guiltily, and I was a little worried that if she stopped talking to me, then I would lose the friend I had just made.
When I was a child, vampires existed in this world.
Everyone went into hiding, and I didn't know anyone except my parents, who I stayed with every day.
I hardly ever see other people's children, and I get to go out with my parents for far less time.
So I have no friends and I don't even know the names of my neighbors.
Then later, I was taken by Wills and then to Klopp's estate, and Anna was the first person besides my parents and Klopp who would smile at me.
I always remember.
"Okay, I misunderstood Anna this time, I'm willing to make amends.Anna, what do you want?"
Klopp asked Anna.
"Monsieur le Comte, if what you say is true, then I want a bed that is soft enough, and a warm quilt, so that I can spend this winter in peace."
Anna replied sincerely.
Klopp and I were both a little surprised. We thought she would want gold coins or blood that could survive the winter, but we didn't think she would just want a bed.
Finally, Klopp agreed and told Ike to get on with it immediately.
Klopp took me to the lobby for dinner and Phil was there.
Without drawing blood, his eyes are no longer blood-red, but blue.
"Brother, I want to discuss one thing with you."
Klopp was sitting at the table when Phil addressed him.
"Say, what do you want?"
Klopp doesn't care one bit about what Phil wants to do.
"I would like to invite Mireya to your birthday party next week."
Phil, with a gleam in his eye, pleads with Klopp, who seems to like Mireya a lot.
"You gave me a good enough reason."
Klopp replied.
I gave him a look. His birthday?
Vampires live much longer than humans, and by human age he would be over two hundred years old, even though he appears to be in his twenties.
"You know, if I had invited her, she would not have come, but if you had invited her, she would have come."
Phil said.
Klopp did not answer and was silent for a while.
"I didn't really want to invite her."
Klopp replied, and Phil's face was full of disappointment.
"You should know that Mireya has always liked you. No matter what I do, she won't even look at me. But I still wish I could see her, it's enough to say a few words to her."
Phil still holds on.
"I will invite Duke Taz, and as for Mireya, if you want to invite her, do it in your own name."
Klopp is a little upset that although he and Duke Taz have fallen out, Duke Taz should show up for something like a birthday party.
Phil froze, but only for a moment.
"Okay."
Phil replied with disappointment.
When I finished my meal, Klopp took me to the study and said nothing about what Phil had mentioned.
I was still lying in his arms, and he would occasionally pull out a hand to stroke my head as he flipped through the papers.
Instead, I held the book he gave me and read it carefully.
"Sir, how did you get me to recover in such a short time?"
I always found it puzzling that if it was before, I could not have recovered in such a short time.
"That's thanks to Wilson."
Klopp replied with a smile.
"He came to the estate?"
This came as a surprise to me, even though Wilson had the medal Klopp gave him.
He is only a human being and it is not in order to do so.
"Yes, I just told him that either he saves you or he waits to be saved."
Klopp said, as if a little smug.
I'm afraid Wilson will have to leave something to chance.
"Humans get the virus after being bitten, but why don't I?"
I asked again.
"You're talking about low-level vampires, that's all they have. High level vampires can control the people they want to infect, and the humans they don't want to infect, they don't."
Klopp explains.
A week passes and the day before Klopp's birthday party, everyone at the estate is busy.
But Klopp wouldn't let me help, instead leaving me to move around the property on my own.
"Jenny, help me!"
I had just walked downstairs when Anna yelled at me.
She was holding a large stack of plates that should be used for the banquet.
I rushed over and reached out to take down half of it for her, only to find that the plate was heavier than I thought it would be.
"Thank you so much, Jenny, I love you so much."
Anna said to me, leading me towards the hall where the banquet was held.
Passing around the corner, a man blocked my path.
"Jenny, can I talk to you alone?"
Phil leaned against the wall around the corner and smiled sideways.
But his smile made me feel fearful and my hands were beginning to tremble as I clutched the plate.
