Chapter 87: Negotiation and Reunion

"I should be glad that I'm still with you."

I said as I looked at Klopp, who had a bigger smile on his face.

The party would last until dawn, but my body hadn't fully recovered and dancing made me feel tired.

Klopp could see that I was a little uncomfortable and took me to the side to rest.

Anna took Coriselle back to her room, he didn't like the noisy environment, it would make him feel uneasy.

Kamose also got a girl from the crowd to be his dance partner, and that girl's eyes stayed on him, looking like she should like him.

"I guess Kamose wouldn't say no to that girl."

I said as I sat next to Klopp.

"No, he would have rejected the girl because it wasn't the first time he had done that."

Klopp said to me as he took a sip of red wine.

"What?"

I was suddenly puzzled. Kamose doesn't like pretty girls?

"Compared to the girl in his heart, even the most beautiful girl loses all color in his eyes."

Klopp replied.

"And what color am I?"

I asked as I moved over to look at him.

"Orange, mango, and lemon can all be your representative colors."

Klopp answered seriously.

"Not a pretty red?"

I frowned at him.

"That's impossible, you'll only get more and more yellow!"

klopp replied.

I rolled my eyes at him.

The rave party ended near dawn and Kamose and Quintas, already drunk, stayed at the estate.

Ike knocked on the door and walked into the room.

"Sir, we just received word that the situation at the border is not good."

Ike came up to us and said.

I was talking to Klopp, and when I heard Ike's words, Klopp and I both walked over to him.

"What's going on?"

Klopp asked.

"Peter sent someone to covertly deliver a message to the human army, so that the humans would think that our army was massing at the border in order to launch an all-out war against the humans."

Ike explained to Klopp.

"Peter not only wants to use the human army to force us to evacuate, the person who really wants to annex the human world is actually him, and once we all lose to Peter, he will not only kill us, but the humans will not escape either."

Klopp said to me.

"Maybe ...... I can go to them and negotiate as a human."

I looked to Klopp and said.

"Although you are also human, I can't let you go, it's too dangerous."

Klopp turned me down.

"There aren't many people who can hurt me now, and even if they don't want to trust me, I can get away with it. Once the war between humans and bloods starts, it will only bring Peter greater benefits, and that's not the outcome we want to see."

I said to him seriously.

"Sir, I think we can let her try, we should trust her."

Ike watched as Klopp and I argued and chose to take my side.

"Klopp, I promise you that I will come back safely."

I took Klopp's hand and said to him.

"Well, I promise to let you go and negotiate with them, but if they dare do anything to hurt you, I will immediately launch an attack on the army."

Klopp was silent for a long time before he said to me.

I looked at him and gave a smile.

Klopp gave me a ducal medal, also to convince the army that I could negotiate with them on behalf of the Bloods.

Although I've never tried, neither Klopp nor I would like to see war break out between humans and bloods.

Klopp sent me to the border with a distance in between that did not belong to either side, but only served as a boundary for war, and whenever one side stepped over the range, it was tantamount to initiating war.

I walked alone in the direction of the human army.

The time I lived in the blood race does not count for long, and returning to the human community again gives me an indescribable feeling.

As I walked toward the army garrison, a group of soldiers surrounded me with rifles.

The leading officer gestured to the soldier to check the situation, then looked at me carefully.

"You're human?"

He looked at me not afraid of the sun and opened his mouth to ask.

"That's right, I'm also the only one who came here, and I'm here to negotiate with you on behalf of the Blood."

I took out the medal and said to the officer, I didn't feel scared at all.

"Negotiate? On behalf of that group of vampires? Are you crazy? Why would they listen to you?"

Although the officer did not want to believe what I said, everyone knew that vampire medals were not given to just anyone.

And what I am holding in my hand is the Duke of Kamose's medal.

It was once given to Klopp by Kamose to use Kamose's medal if he encountered something he couldn't handle.

Klopp has never used it for the first time until now.

"My name is Jenny-Ivy, I can negotiate with you on behalf of the Northern and Southern Bloods, and I did not bring any Bloods with me, so you can consider it good faith."

I said to him.

"You can represent two blood races? Are you really human?"

The officer looked at me warily at once, and the other soldiers had their bullets loaded and ready to pull the trigger.

"As I said, I'm only here to negotiate, we don't want to see a war break out between the Bloods and the humans, and the end result will only be another bastard with a greater chance of threatening the survival of the human race."

I said, glaring at him.

He hesitated for a moment, but led me towards an underground castle.

The people of the underground castle are busy preparing for the coming war.

He told me that the man guarding the place was a major.

After a long walk, the metal plates under your feet make a dull sound.

Finally, at the entrance of a conference room, the people in front of them stopped.

After briefly stating to the other party what I was here for, the person inside the conference room allowed me to enter alone.

While I was still thinking about what to negotiate, the person sitting inside the conference room and I looked at each other and we both froze at the same time.

"Major Crystal?"

"Jenny?"

We let out a gasp at the same time.

Crystal stood up and walked towards me, excitement and thrill written all over her face.

"Is it really you, Jenny, are you okay? I'm so happy to see you again."

Crystal said and reached out and hugged me, emotionally.

I tried to push him away, but Crystal held on tighter.

"Major Crystal, you're taking my breath away."

I couldn't break free, so I could only say to him helplessly.

Crystal heard my words and hurriedly let go of my hand, but her eyes remained fixed on me.

"Jenny, I'm sorry, I was just overly surprised, I've been looking for you since you disappeared, but I'm happy to see that you're still alive and well."

Crystal said to me with a smile.

"But I just came here this time hoping to talk to you about the Bloods. It's all a conspiracy by Peter, who killed his father, Sarnus, the last King of the Western Bloods, and is now attempting to start a war between humans and Bloods."

I said to him seriously.

"Jenny, how did you come to negotiate with me on behalf of two Bloods? You are a human, and they threatened you to come?"

Crystal asked, looking at me.

"It's not like that, I'm married to Sarnus' son Klopp and he's been very good to me, so I ......"

"Wait, you're married to a vampire?"

Crystal asked, interrupting me.
