Chapter 83 - Purifying Power
Quintas has returned to his territory and wonders how well he is recovering from his injuries.
"Jenny, you woke up at a good time."
Kamose came through the door and looked at me and smiled.
"Thank you for saving us."
I said to him.
Kamose waved his hand and walked towards us.
"I kept an eye on Peter from the time he announced that King Sarnus had been killed, because I was sure Klopp would never do that, and if he hadn't sent someone to King Quintas, I wouldn't have been able to find you guys."
Kamose said.
"Everyone's attention is on Quintas right now, and we're very passive."
Klopp is still worried about the situation on Quintas' side.
And I can no longer follow Klopp around now.
The baby in my belly put a huge burden on my body, and I was not feeling well mentally, getting sleepy more and more easily.
I just woke up not long ago and I felt tired again.
Kamose was still talking to Klopp while I fell asleep once again.
The body seemed to be wrapped by a warm and powerful force, so that my body, which originally felt heavy, seemed much lighter, as if lying on a soft cotton.
This feeling makes me feel comfortable and my body feels less tired after I wake up.
But Klopp was sitting on the edge of the bed, staring at me with a frown.
"Jenny, are you okay?"
Klopp asked tentatively.
"I'm fine, why do you ask? Did something happen? Or did I sleep for days again?"
I had a pang of doubt in my mind.
"No, you slept for less than three hours, but while you were sleeping, your body was wrapped in a red mist, and I was worried that you might be in danger, but no matter what I did, I couldn't break the barrier."
Klopp said seriously.
I looked at my body, I was sleeping, that warm feeling because of that fog?
Seeing how I had no idea what was going on, Klopp just smiled gently, reached out and touched my stomach.
"I felt a very gentle and powerful force wrapping around me while I was sleeping, making my body less heavy, and it was probably the most comfortable sleep I've ever had."
I said to Klopp with a smile.
He nodded to me, but didn't answer my words.
We were silent for a while.
"What's up with the consciousness space of the Bloods?"
I broke the silence to ask Klopp about it.
"How do you know about the space of consciousness? You've seen it already?"
Klopp acted shocked at my question.
"Yes, while I was unconscious, I entered the consciousness space of Sarnus, and he spoke to me about many things."
I told Klopp everything that happened in the consciousness space.
"All Bloods can have their own consciousness space, it is preserved along with the life force preserved in the homologue, as long as that half of the life force still exists, the consciousness space will not disappear, but humans do not have a consciousness space, the human who can enter the consciousness space of the Bloods, you should be the first."
Klopp replied.
"I also saw our child, who looks like you, but I didn't see if he was a boy or a girl."
As much as I would like to know, it's just curious, it doesn't determine how much love I have for my children.
"What? You mean he can enter the consciousness space too? My god ...... this is crazy."
Klopp has been completely shocked, as was I at the time.
According to the human pregnancy time, I have only spent five months, human children do not even have the ability to really think yet, but Klopp and I have a child, but already have a consciousness of their own.
Klopp and I both thought of the resurrection flower, but I didn't ask Borkana why she did that when Quintas killed her.
Borkana wants to kill me, but he wants to accelerate my child's growth, and I don't understand why that is.
Klopp didn't say anything, but just laid down next to me and reached out and hugged me.
I could feel his unease, his constant fear of that day coming.
The day the baby is born will also be a trial of my life.
I leaned into his arms, listening to Klopp's heartbeat, and a smile surfaced on my feet.
"Klopp, have you thought about what you're going to name him?"
I asked, wrapping my arms around Klopp's waist.
"No, I want you to decide."
Klopp said to me.
"Boys can be called Coriselle and girls Mephis, don't you think?"
It took me a long time to think of these two names.
"Nice name, he'll like it too."
Klopp said, reaching out and touching my stomach.
At night, I fell asleep once again.
Re-entered Sarnus' consciousness space, but I was surprised to find that the child had grown up a lot.
Sarnus approached me in a snow-white robe, holding a golden ball of light in his hand, a soft glow filling the room with warmth.
"What is this?"
I asked, looking at Sarnus.
"The purified blood energy, and one of the last things I can do for you, will protect you and be available to you until the life energy is completely consumed."
Sarnus said to me.
He stood in front of me and let go of his hands, and the ball of light slowly flew toward me and disappeared after it was integrated into my heart.
The warmth of the power shines like sunlight on the body, giving the body a comfort it has never felt before.
"So what happens to you?"
I asked, looking at him.
"I will disappear, but you don't have to feel sad, I am just a part of the spiritual will, and this will be the last time you enter this space of consciousness."
Sarnus smiled and stroked my head with a gentle smile.
The child standing next to him, looked at me with a smile, and the cute look simply melted one's heart.
Everything around me began to dissipate a little, turning into points of light and flying toward the sky.
Sarnus turned and walked into the hut, shutting the door behind him.
After the whole hut dissipated, he could no longer be seen.
When I woke up, Klopp was no longer in the room; he had gone to see Kamose.
I raised my hand and looked at my palm, and a little bit of golden light emerged.
Everything you see in your dreams is real.
But it also confirmed to me that Sarnus' last consciousness really did disappear and that he would never appear again.
I got out of bed, put on my coat and headed for the study.
Someone approached behind me and I looked back, only to see a figure lunging at me.
I instinctively raised my hand in a defensive motion, but I felt the heat emanating from my palm.
A scream came, followed by the muffled sound of a person falling to the ground.
I shrank back to look at the person lying on the other side of the corridor, and I was taken aback.
And that person, surprisingly, is Anna?
"Oh my God Anna! I'm sorry ...... I don't know what's going on ......"
I rushed over to help Anna up, wanting to explain it all and not knowing what to say to Anna about it, she might think I was crazy.
"Jenny! What happened? Are you hurt?"
Klopp ran over to ask me about it, and Kamose followed.
