Chapter 46 - Angelina-Ivy

"I'm just presenting the facts to her, don't you want her to be able to live?"
Peter looked at Klopp even more smugly.
"Get out of here immediately."
Klopp has stormed off.
"It's sad to have a brother who gets angry easily."
Peter said and headed outside before Klopp's mood eased.
"Klopp, I ......"
I didn't know how to tell him about it, but I knew that vampires could live for thousands of years, if not longer.
And human life is only a few decades, take away half of his life energy, who knows what will happen, and I do not want Klopp to risk because of me.
"I will definitely save you, but I need to leave for a month, and during this month, you have to wait here for my return."
Klopp took out a candy and fed it into my mouth.

The door opened and Klopp led me inside.
"Father."
Klopp bowed to the middle-aged man sitting in the Great Hall.
I looked up at him, and in those dark red eyes, there was only cold killing and majesty.
He is Klopp's father and the king of the blood race who rules over the entire strongest race - Sarnus.
The powerful aura made me lower my head and look at him more than once, it was an offense to him.
"What's your name?"
He asked, and I could feel his gaze resting on me for a very brief moment, but it still left me barely able to breathe.
"Jenny-Ivy."
I slowly lifted my head to answer.
Sarnus froze for a moment and reappraised me.
"Klopp, you can leave now, I want to talk to her alone."
Sarnus said to Klopp.
Klopp gave me a faint smile, signaling me not to be afraid, and turned around and walked out of the hall.
Sarnus took a pocket watch out of his pocket, walked over to me, and handed it to me.
"Do you know this man?"
He turned his back on me and said.
I looked down at the picture set on the pocket watch and froze on the spot.
"The sister of Hogue-Ivy, the first generation of Ivy family founders, Angelina-Ivy?"
In my former family, the matter of Angelina-Ivy was always taboo, and no one wanted to mention her, not even in the family cemetery.
But doing the math, she's at least two hundred years old, almost as old as Klopp.
I'm puzzled as to how her photo came to be in Sarnus' possession.
My parents have been trying to find Angelina's remains, but never had any leads.
It was only after the vampires took over the human world that my parents first spoke to me about Angelina.
She left the family when she was eighteen, only to return nearly two years later and tell the others that she had fallen in love with a vampire.
I hope to be with him.
This was met with the strongest opposition from the family, and she was even imprisoned for it.
But Angelina still escaped and, never went back.
The entire family spent many years without finding her, and no one knows where she went.
Even her tombstone was made by her grandfather's servants on his deathbed.
The photo on top of the tombstone and the one in Sarnus' hand are clearly identifiable as the same person.
"She is the human who died because of me, and was once the love of my life. I never thought that you would be the descendant of her brother."
Sarnus put the pocket watch back, he should be remembering everything in the past, and his tone is also through the sadness.
"Where is she buried?"
I inquired, hoping to bring back her remains, which were my parents' last wish.
"She has always been in this palace, but I will not allow anyone to take her, including you."
Sarnus said indifferently.
"What exactly did you want to talk to me about when you asked me to come here?"
I looked to him and asked.
Compared with him, I am simply pathetically weak, to grab Angelina with him, is simply impossible.

Sarnus said, turning his back on me.

Sarnus looked ahead and said to me.

"During the month that Klopp is away from the palace, I will give you some medicine that will relieve your pain and allow you to live, but the final choice will still be up to Klopp, if he wants it, and I have one additional condition."
Sarnus took a step toward his throne and said solemnly.
"What are the conditions?"
I watched his back.
"If he is willing to use his life energy to save you, my additional condition is that from now on, you will no longer belong to the human world. In this life, you cannot betray him, otherwise, I will kill you with the penalty of the highest judgment of the blood race."
Sarnus said as he sat on his throne with his eyes fixed on me.
I laughed.
No matter what happens to Klopp in the future, I will stay with him, just like the time I spent with him at Mrs. Olaton's house.
"Where did he go?"
I asked.
