Chapter 23 Chasing the game

"Mr. Phil, what do you want to talk to me about?"
I tried to keep myself calm.
"Anna, there's nothing for you here, you can leave now."
Phil ordered to Anna.
My heart was screaming at me to let Anna stay, I didn't want to face Phil.
"Phil, as you can see, Jenny is helping out, it's Count Klopp's birthday tomorrow and he won't want the party to be messed up."
Anna said as she stood beside me.
"You're just a servant! Only obedience is required, is that understood?"
Phil slapped Anna, who fell to the ground, and the plate she was holding fell to the ground and was shattered.
"Anna!"
I hurriedly put down the plate in my hand and reached out to help her.
But Phil grabbed my hand and pulled me to the other side. I couldn't break free of his hand, and the bones in my wrist felt as if they were going to be crushed by him.
"Jenny!"
Anna's arm was cut by a porcelain tile and kept bleeding, while I was taken away from her by Phil.
A spacious room, Phil pushed me in and I fell heavily to the floor.
Phil closed the door to the room behind him and walked towards me, and I instinctively stepped back.

Phil said to me as he sat down on the couch next to me.

Phil snapped up to me.

My voice and body were trembling.
Phil got the answer he wanted and got up and walked out satisfied.
And I sat on the ground, my whole body had no strength at all, and I couldn't stand up.
I don't want to be sucked into Phil's blood and I don't want him to continue to abuse Eryn.
But Klopp doesn't want Mireya to attend the party, what should I tell him?
"Jenny!"
The door opened again and Anna rushed in, followed by Ike.
Her arm was simply bandaged.
"Anna."

"Jenny, what did he do to you?"
Ike asked, looking at me.
"Nothing, he just wanted me to clear up any misconceptions I had about him, but I was too scared, and the truth is he didn't do anything, I promise."
I calmed myself and answered.
"Luckily you're okay, you really scared me just now."
Anna helped me up and was relieved to make sure I wasn't hurt.
Leaving the room, I found gauze and bandages to re-treat Anna's wound.
But the moment the gauze was removed, I saw that her wounds had begun to heal.
"Anna, your hand..."
"Don't get it, do you? Any vampire has a talent that can heal wounds in the body, except for those caused by special weapons, this wound, no problem."
Anna said with a playful smile at me.
I then realized that Anna was also a beautiful girl with dark brown hair, light golden eyes and a permanent smile on her face.
She never felt inferior because she was a servant; on the contrary, she even cherished what she had now.

I put the gauze and bandages away and smiled at Anna.

I laughed as I matched her revealing my neck.

Anna was chasing after me.
And I don't feel scared, I haven't played chase with any of my friends, Anna is the first.

"Lvy, I think you should come with me instead of getting so close to her."
Klopp walked out a few steps, turned to me and said.
I gave Anna a look and walked over to Klopp, letting him take my hand and walk back.
When I got back to my room, Klopp was sitting on the couch reading a book and had no intention of talking to me.
"Would you like some coffee, sir?"
I came up to him and asked in a whisper.
"It's said to be something from the human world that doesn't taste too good."
Klopp was a little disgusted.
"What about the juice?"
I continued to ask.
He still shook his head to say no.
Vampires seem to be interested only in human blood.
"Mr...."
"Jenny, it occurs to me that I seem to be a little curious about one of the things in the human world."
Klopp interrupted me and pinned me down on the couch, speaking in an ambiguous tone.
