Chapter 34 I want to talk to you
I looked around and did not find the source of the sound.
"Jenny, don't be nervous, I just established a spiritual connection with you through the energy in the bracelet, I'm already near you, otherwise you wouldn't be able to hear my voice."
Klopp's voice came through my head again.
It was then that I realized that the bracelet was actually useful in this way.
Klopp asked me to say the blood language, I no longer remember what it meant, but I said it anyway.
Several vampires tried to remove the bracelet from my wrist, but their movements stopped when they heard me say the phrase Bloodborne and looked up at me.
They didn't even have time to react, and there were only terrified expressions on their faces.
The stones on the bracelet glowed red, just like the ones I saw in the woods that day.
Several vampires tried to escape, but the red threads were faster than they were, and before they could run to the door, they were instantly entangled in the red threads and were tightening.
Those few vampires didn't even make a sound before they had turned into black ashes and floated down to the ground from mid-air.
The red light drifted in my direction and my eyes widened.
Does it want to kill me too?
I was thinking, but it just cut the rope on my hands and feet, although only floating light, but it cut the rope like a sharp blade cutting, only did not hurt me in the slightest.
The red light disappeared before my eyes, and the gem on the bracelet returned to its original blue color.
What just happened was like a hallucination on my part.
Only the black ashes on the ground were telling me that it was all true.
"Sir... are you still around?"
I tried to talk to Klopp, but there was no response.
The lock on the door was opened after the vampires came in, and it is still in the open position.
I took a deep breath and headed outside.
When I was brought back by Mireya, my eyes were blindfolded, so I couldn't see what was out there.
Outside the door there was a flight of revolving stone steps, and the light on the wall was a bit dim, barely allowing me to see the steps beneath my feet without falling over.
Near the exit, outside was a strong bright light, many vampires were gathered not far away, if I went out, I would definitely be found.
I ducked to the side and looked ahead, looking around for Klopp.
"Jenny."
Ike's head emerged from the other side of the wall, scaring me so much that I almost let out a scream and I rushed to cover my mouth.
"Ike, what are you doing here? Where's Sir?"
I asked, looking at him.
"He's stalling for time, wait until I get you out of here, he'll follow, go."
Ike gestured for me to leave in the other direction.
"Is he going to be in danger?"
I still don't feel comfortable leaving Klopp alone to face all this.
"If you stay here, he will be in danger, do you understand?"
Ike also said to me seriously.
I was also well aware that I was human and a target for those vampires who had some keen sense of human scent, and I followed Klopp wherever he went, and the vampires were able to follow my scent to him.
I was like a vampire mounted tracker on Klopp's side.
"All right, I'll go with you."
I said to Ike, running after him in the direction of fewer vampires on the other side.
Along the way, I was still hoping to see Klopp, and I just wanted to make sure he was safe too.
While running out of an iron gate, Ike stopped, turned around and returned to the villa, closing the gate behind him.
"Ike, what are you doing? Why did you lock me out?"
I asked in as low a voice as possible.
"Jennie, run all the way forward in this direction to find Wilson, he'll give you a ride back, and me and the gentleman will be back later."
Ike said to me, but his expression told me that they came here, not just to save me so simple.
Before I could answer, Ike's eyes turned red and a pair of bat wings appeared behind him, carrying him back.
Standing outside the door, my heart was full of contradictions.
I could certainly choose to go back to Klopp, but that would also mean putting him in more danger.
After hesitating for a while, I decided to do as Ike said and went back to Mrs. Olaton's to wait for them.
I ran all the way forward, and everything under the shroud of night was only barely visible.
The vampire could fly through the night sky, while I could only scramble forward on two legs and run as far away as possible.
"Jenny, it's been a long time."
A man in front of me blocked my way.
I took a closer look and was stunned.
It's Phil!
His face was a fearful smile and his eyes were full of ice and hatred.
"What are you going to do?"
I subconsciously backed up, trying to get far enough away and find an opportunity to escape.
"I want to talk to you."
Phil said with a smile, taking a step toward me.
"I have nothing to talk to you about."
From the day Klopp and I left the estate and Phil forced Klopp into the damn pool, I've stopped believing every word Phil said.
"And what a hot human pet, I said that one day I will make you my pet, now I am the Count and Klopp is just a poor man who has lost everything, who is more worthy of your choice, don't you understand?"
Phil said with a smug grin, seemingly sure that I would choose him.
"To be your pet? Like Erin, living more like a ghost than a vampire with your constant blood sucking?"
I questioned in a cold voice, my eyes looking around, hoping to find an optimal escape route.
"Jenny, you know, I'm not as patient as Klopp, and have you thought about what would happen if you completely provoked me?"
Phil smiled even colder.
Behind me, several vampires blocked my retreat, giving me no chance to escape.
Klopp wasn't here either, and with the gap between humans and vampires, I couldn't have won Phil even with the bracelet Klopp gave me.
"Don't you ever think about it!"
Even if I have to die here, I don't want to be Phil's pet.
That is my last dignity as a human being.
"Jenny, you really make me sad, I should think about it, how should I punish you?"
Phil's face was grim, and in the blink of an eye he was in front of me, reaching for my neck.
I began to have difficulty breathing, the oxygen in my body was rapidly depleting, and I simply could not break free.
Phil looked at me as a hunter looking at a dying rabbit, and despite my desperate attempts to slap his arm, he still didn't let go.
Klopp probably didn't know I'd meet Phil here either, did he?
A brisk wind swept behind him, and Phil frowned at once.
