Chapter 50 - The Life of a Crown Princess
I thought there would be a lot of people coming, but in fact, it was only Sarnus and a few servants.
Even Catherine and Peter didn't show up.
This is probably considered to be the simplest coronation ceremony.
Klopp seemed to have known about it and didn't feel surprised, but looked happy.
"At least no one will stop it."
For me, there are fewer people, instead of making me feel too nervous, so when I think about it, it's a good thing.
"Not too many people attended, but I'm sure they'll all give you their blessing."
Sarnus said with a smile.
The coronation ceremony was supposed to take place after Klopp and I were married, but the Bloods were the opposite; it was more like a human engagement.
"Jenny-Ivy, today I will grant you the title of consort as King of the Blood, and from this moment on, you and Klopp will exist for each other for the rest of your lives, and if anyone disobeys my will, they will be punished by the sentence of judgment."
Sarnus' voice echoed over the entire square with absolute majesty.
Klopp stood beside me, holding my hands tightly.
"Klopp, you can put the crown on her now."
Sarnus said to Klopp.
The maid next to him was holding a silver tray covered with a layer of chintz, on which was placed a very magnificent crown.
Klopp picked it up and gently placed it on my head.
Sarnus looked at me with a smile, a little out of breath.
Soon, the ceremony was over.
Sarnus walked up to me and looked at me for a moment.
"I once designed this crown myself, and built it myself, and today I realize how beautiful it is to be worn on my head."
Sarnus' smile made me feel a little bitter.
If Angelina is still around, this crown should be on her head.
Even after more than two hundred years, the crown still retains its original shape and the gems on it still shine brightly.
"Father ......"
"Okay, I know you may think I'm a scumbag who betrayed his wife and likes another woman, but if I had the choice again, I'd still be with her."
Sarnus finished and left, but he went, not in the direction of the Great Hall, but in another direction that I had not been.
"Angelina's mausoleum is there, and he would always be alone there."
Klopp explained to me.
"I want to go see her."
I said to Klopp.
"I'll go back to my room and wait for you."
Klopp said.
I followed the direction Sarnus had left.
I thought the cemetery should be in a dark place, but what I saw, was another luxurious palace.
When I thought I was in the wrong place, Sarnus walked in through the front door.
I followed them, and when I entered the hall, there was only a crystal coffin in the hall, but there were no remains inside, only a black urn.
The entire palace does not look like a cemetery in the slightest, and all the living facilities as well as the bedrooms are carefully arranged as if they were inhabited.
There are several photo frames hanging on the wall in the hall, and the person in the photo is Angelina.
At that time she was smiling happily, and the man beside her was the Sarnus of more than two hundred years ago.
She is already my grandmother's grandmother, but Sarnus is Klopp's father, so I have a big advantage.
"She's the prettiest girl I've ever seen and the kindest."
Sarnus walked next to the crystal coffin, as if touching the face of his beloved, tender and affectionate.
"Queen Catherine did nothing wrong and neither did Angelina, you should not blame the queen for this. angelina and you together, in the words of the human world, is a shameful third party."
I still said all the things I wanted to say in my heart.
The human world usually does not allow a man to have several wives at the same time, at least not where I am.
"She's not a third party, if it wasn't for Catherine, it would have been her with me, and I would have been able to save her when she was dying, you don't understand anything!"
Sarnus shouted.
"You are just treating Angelina with the rules of the blood, because of you, she was even abandoned by her own family, although you can consider it the most faithful love to each other, but your love, hurt not only Angelina and your queen, but also more people."
I don't doubt the relationship between Angelina and Sarnus, but I think both of them are too capricious and rebellious.
"It's true that I don't understand the rules of humans, and she didn't say anything to me about the human world, just that it was the same unchanged world as it once was."
Sarnus looked at the pictures on the wall with guilt.
"It's not that humans are unchanged, you may have also had a crush on Angelina, but more so because you were running away from your life and fate at the time, so you chose Angelina, who was also in a rebellious period, and thought you were the best match."
Sarnus has not even bothered to understand the world in which humans live.
I sighed and turned around and left the mausoleum.
I didn't have the chance to ask Angelina again if she regrets that perhaps she had a truly happy time around Sarnus as well.
Back in his room, Klopp sits on his bed and reads a book.
When he saw me coming back, he put down the book he was holding, lifted the covers and patted the pillow.
"Jenny, you really should have come back earlier, this damn bed is cold and I'm shivering."
Klopp grumbled.
"Is that so? But what I see is a certain gentleman showing his chest and saying it's cold, which is like someone eating ice cream in summer and still yelling hot all the time."
I felt a little like laughing when I looked at the way Klopp was talking nonsense, but I still wanted to complain.
"No, it's my bed, and when I say it's cold, it's cold, and you can't contradict me."
Klopp chose to go against me.
"Okay, so what should we do? Do I warm your bed, or do you warm mine?"
I asked.
"Maybe I can."
Klopp decisively lay into the nest and threw a wink at me.
Is it my illusion?
Why has Klopp become more and more of a rogue after regaining his status as a blood prince?
"Hey Jenny, don't you want to cuddle up to me tonight?"
Klopp looked up and shouted at me with a disgruntled look on his face.
So, I got under the covers.
"No, you should be holding my waist with your head on my chest, good, good night."
Klopp pressed my head against his chest and smiled with satisfaction.
If he could have seen my expression, he would have noticed that my face had darkened to the same color as the night outside.
This is the life of a princess?
