Chapter 21 Nightmare

Duke Taz threatened at Klopp.
Anna and I couldn't help but freeze, not expecting him to blackmail Klopp in this way.
"This old guy, most likely never beaten by his mother, really wants to slap him on the head with my mom's holey slipper."
Anna whispered a curse.
"Those slippers are really bad, too."
I said at Anna.
Klopp was silent for a long time, and Duke Taz and Mireya did not speak either.
I could even feel the horribly quiet atmosphere in the hall.
"Duke Taz, I believe you are righteous and would not do this, Mireya deserves better."
Klopp eventually broke the silence.
"No, Klopp, I do like you, but I don't know, why are you so resistant to marrying me?"
Mireya questioned aggressively.
"I'm sorry, Mireya, I can't marry you, that's my answer."
Once again, Klopp rejected Mireya.
"Is it because of your human pet?Klopp, you reject me for a human pet, one day you will regret the decision you made today."
Mireya said angrily.
"You humiliated my daughter like that, we'll see."
Duke Taz threw down a sentence and then never spoke again.
They may have left.
I know very well that Duke Taz and Mireya will not just let it go, they will definitely take revenge on Klopp.
"Jenny, the Count refused to marry Klopp because of you?"
Anna looked at me with a shocked face and asked.

Klopp replied.

I changed the subject; any further discussion and he would likely find out that I had cheated on him.
"I'm not sure, but according to the information I found out, the magic written in the book should be related to the nature of the blood bats, and the blood race is not willing to get involved with the blood bat race."
Klopp sat beside me and explained.
He also told me another thing.
That is, the ancestors of the blood bats were the offspring of a combination of two creatures, bats and dark crows, and they were rejected by the other blood races as a bunch of freaks.

They believe that because the god of the moon guided the union of their ancestors, a ritual is held in the summer.
The ritual stuff is a special ore that is capable of interconnecting and releasing a lavender glow.
The other blood races are called magic, but that kind of stone, it seems, is only available to the blood bats.
As for the appearance of out-of-control Bloods in the city, Klopp believes the second is more likely.

Klopp carried me back and before I got back to my room, I was leaning on his shoulder so sleepy I couldn't open my eyes.
Lying in bed, I dimly heard the sound of voices talking at the door.
"Mr. Klopp, we've found signs in the city that the Bloodbats have been active before."
The voice was Dno and I could hear him.
But I couldn't open my eyes.
"Have they left already?"
Klopp asked.
"I think so, before coming here, I have sent soldiers to fully search for the Blood Bats. If there are still Bloodbats active in the city, the soldiers will drive them out. As you know, that's a tough bunch."
Dno was very reluctant to get into conflict with the Blood Bats.
"You did a great job."
Klopp said.
It didn't take long for Dno to seemingly leave.
Klopp walks into the room and he seems to be sighing and should be bothered because of the blood bat.
In my dream, I heard my mother's voice calling to me again, only a little more faintly than the last time.
I, on the other hand, seemed to be trapped in a transparent box, and no matter how much I knocked around, I was just trapped in place.
Several blood-red vampires appeared in front of my eyes, with their wings spread and fangs showing as they walked towards me.

I yelled at them, but they smiled at me.
To me, their smiles were scarier than the evil spirits in hell, and I couldn't hide from them.

When I woke up again, I was lying in a bathtub filled with hot water.
Anna is watching me worriedly from the side.

"Did I sleep for a long time again?"
I asked, looking at her.
"Today is the third day, Mr. Earl asked me to put you in here to soak, he said that by doing this you will get better, I didn't expect you to really wake up."
Anna said to me.
I actually slept for another three days?
Is it because my body is still weak?
Or was it because Klopp was infected by the Blood Bats when he bit me, and therefore, I was infected as well?
But I am not a blood family, I will not have the urge to suck blood.

I should go tell Klopp.
"No, no, you should soak in the water, your body has not recovered yet!"
I was about to get up when Anna stepped in and pushed me back.
"Anna, listen, I have to go find first..."
