Chapter 43: The abortion pills 2

I found different places where I could get the drugs but they didn't sell them to me. I was so frustrated and exhausted because it was a hot afternoon. After searching for the drugs in different places and getting disappointed, I finally headed back home. I didn't know what to do about it because I really needed to get these drugs.

I went through my contact list and searched for anyone old enough to get the drugs but it turns out the only old friend I have is out of town. I dropped my phone and went down to have lunch, I made spaghetti for lunch. When I was done with lunch, I began to think of a way to get the drugs.

As I said before, when you need time, time flies faster than normal. I know I spent much time thinking of a way to get the drugs but I didn't realize it was fifteen minutes past four which means the school should have closed by now.

While I was thinking of a way to get the drugs, I heard the sound of a car pulling over. I walked to my window and saw it was Jones.

"Shit," I said and ran downstairs to meet him,
"Jones you have to leave, you're the last person I and my parents want to see now,"

"Angie, calm down, I know how you feel right now and I'm here to help,"

"Jones please leave, just go please," I said.

"Angie calm down, I swear I'm here to help,"

"Jones just please leave," I said and then he held my shoulder,

"Calm down baby, just breathe," he said with his hands on my shoulders.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath,

"Alright," he said and brought out some pills from his pocket, "Take two and insert one in there and it would get rid of it," he said

I didn't have to ask what it was, I already knew it was an abortion pill.
I politely took it off his hand and looked at it,
"Thank you," I said.

He smiled and rubbed my face,
"I love you, Angie,"

I waited for a short while,
"I love you too," I said, then he turned and got into his car and drove off. I went in with the pills and headed straight to my room. I sighed and took two as Jones asked me to take and inserted one. After taking the pills, I didn't feel anything immediately. So I was confused because I wasn't sure if the pills worked.

2 hours later I felt something down there, I touched it and looked at my hand, and then I realised it was stained with blood. I ran into the bathroom and pulled off my pants, it was stained with blood and I became scared I was going to die. Blood kept flowing out there for over ten minutes and when it stopped, I became a little comfortable. To be sure it worked I rushed down to the hospital but a different hospital, not the one I was taken to when I fainted. I did a test and the doctor said I wasn't pregnant.
I became so happy that I wish I could scream.

"However, the pills or whatever you took did just a little damage," the doctor said,

I became curious,
"What damage doctor ?" I asked,

"Well it kind of made you a little weak down there so if you by any chance have another abortion, you might never be able to give birth again," said the doctor,

"Okay .... Okay ... Uh ... that's not a problem but I'm safe now right?"

"Of course, but can I ask ... Why did you have to wait for two in before having an abortion?"

"Because I wasn't sure I was pregnant,"

The doctor looked at me weirdly,
"How old are you?"

"Uh... I'm sixteen, but I would be seventeen this year,"

"And you didn't know you were pregnant?"

"Yeah,"

"Have you started seeing your period, like your monthly flow?"

"Yeah, why did you ask?"

"Because the first sign of pregnancy is missing your period, so you want to tell me for the past two months you didn't see your period?"

I thought about it for a second and it was true, I was so careless that I didn't even notice I haven't been seen my period for two months.

"Anyways the baby is gone, stay safe and do not make any other abortion," the doctor said. I stood and left his office excited about the abortion. I got home in about 15 minutes and I felt so much more relaxed. Some hours later, my Mom came back, when she came back, she was giving me an annoying attitude but I never wanted her to know I have gotten rid of the baby. She made dinner but she didn't call me to come and eat like she used to. Dad came back hours later and he didn't even bother talking to me. I wanted to tell them I'd gotten rid of the baby but I just felt it would be best not to.

Mom walked into my room and stood in front of the door giving me a hard look.
"I'm having a day off tomorrow so we are going to see Jones, I need to speak with his mother,"

"What? No Mom we aren't going to see Jones,"

"I didn't make it optional, we must see Jones tomorrow, let me see this guy who is responsible for my daughter's pregnancy," Mom said.

"Mom we can't go and meet Jones, he would be in school tomorrow and...,"

"And we would meet him in school," Mom yelled, "Next time if I talk you listen," she said and walked out of the room. While Mom left my room and headed to her room, she saw something on the floor that drew her attention, she walked close and had a better look at it, and then Mom found out it was blood.
