Chapter 83: Goodbye world.

"Criminal 004 also known as Angie, responsible for the murder of popular businessman Mr Jonathan Escott, also known as Jones. What's surprising is the fact that she turned herself to the police immediately after the murder. Well thank you for your honesty, infact because of your honesty I would let you stay in jail for 7 days before your death because I sentence you to death by hanging," Before the judge ended the case, I Interrupted.

"My lord perhaps you should hear my story before you close the case,"

"Miss Angie this is a law court, we're not here to hear..."

"I already did the police a favour," I Interrupted, "I turned myself to the police immediately after the murder. Perhaps you should do me the favour of letting me say my story," I said,

The judge sighed,
"You're right Angie, you have only 10 minutes,"

"Thank you, my lord ... all these years I've been living in bondage, that bondage of living with a broken heart. Jones used to be my boyfriend and I loved him very much,"

"You have only 15 minutes left," the judge interrupted,

"Because of him I lost my best friend, I didn't graduate high school and now I'm forced to do a job I don't like,"

"10 minutes more,"

"I might not have enough time to say what he did but I don't regret killing him, because he killed me emotionally,"

"Court dismissed," the judge said and ended the case, then he stood up and walked away from the court.

As soon as he left, two police officers Walked to me and took me back to jail. While I was in jail, I told my cellmates what brought me in here, some of them felt sorry for me, while some laughed at me. Prison is one hell of a place, no one knows the value of freedom until you go to prison because you won't get to know what's happening outside, sometimes you won't even know what time it is, just you inside a cell doing nothing. I don't wish my worse enemy to go to prison or jail or anywhere your freedom would be limited.

While I was in prison, I got visited by most of my friends, Mrs Summer, Victoria, Ella, Jimmy, and some new friends I made in my new apartment. The day before my death day, I received the most emotional visit ever, a visit from my parents. When my parents saw me in jail, they were so devastated. Mom cried like a baby while Dad just couldn't say a word. She pleaded that she die instead of me but it wasn't possible. After receiving visits from my friends, I wrote the story of my life and asked one of the cops to help me publish it, she was so kind so she promised she would help me publish it.
