Chapter 11

**Amelia**


“Let me get this straight…you were taken away from your life by the Moon Goddess and The Fates to fix a problem that could kill us all. Is that right?” Olivia asks.

I nod. “I know it sounds crazy but yes. Eventually they decided that all of the moving between realities was taking its toll on me and offered to make me forget everything and try to have a normal life, but something happened. Somehow, I was still able to end up somewhere that I meet Owen and Alexander anyway. So, they tried again but the same thing happened. Erasing my memories didn’t stop the three of us from finding each other, and all of that power had weakened The Moon Goddess. When they pulled me back this last time, she was very weak, and told me that I needed to replace her.”

“You? How?” Liam asks.

“She is no ordinary wolf. She is a White Wolf, the sign that a great war is indeed coming. White wolves only appear when they are needed, and that time is now.” The elder says.

“Exactly. I was chosen to help get us through this war, although I’m not sure if the same actions this time around will work, but my knowledge of past realities means we can figure out a better plan. Also, I possess the knowledge and power of all the past white wolves. The first time I was given their power it nearly killed when I tried to absorb it all, but this time I have the power of The Moon Goddess which should protect me. I don’t want to tap into that power until absolutely necessary because last time I did it sent out a wave of power that all wolves were able to feel. It basically painted a target on my back.” I explain.

“Well shit. This is crazy.” Liam says. “My baby sister is a superpowered wolf goddess now. That’s a lot to take in.”

“Why would you be given a vampire as a mate as well?” Natalia asks.

“Originally Isa asked Alexander to accept the soul bond so that I would have an immortal protector. He eventually bit me, and I was transformed into a hybrid which helped me to become stronger.” I tell her. “Although I’m not sure if it will be needed now.”

“Because you are a goddess. That makes you immortal as well.” Owen says sounding a little sad by the idea.

“In a way yes. Her physical presence may not last forever but she will eventually ascend to full goddess statues and leave this world.” The elder says.

“So we will be broken apart by death and the vampire will continue his immortal life without his soul mate?” Owen asks the elder.

“No, my boy. You will be the mates of The Moon Goddess. When it comes time for you to complete the bond, you will not bite her. She will bite you and you will be linked forever. A true gift.” The elder says easing Owens mind.

I smile at him and get a warm look from him in return.

“Okay. Now about the big war, what’s going on with all that?” Liam asks.

“Yes Love, tell us about the war.” Alexander says as well.

“Right. I guess it would be best to just say it all. Basically Owen’s father has a plan to ignite a war between humans and wolves. He wants to prove our power and become the dominant species for good.” I look at Owen but don’t find much of a reaction. “I know this might not make sense Owen, but your father is a very bad man.”

He leans forward and rests his elbows on his legs. “I have known a long time the sort of man my father is, but I wasn’t aware of how far he would go. There was talk of him wanting our pack to be strong enough for us to take the leadership power over all the packs, but not create a war. He wants power, so I guess it’s not that far of a stretch.”

“So, we need to stop Owen’s father?” Natalia asks.

“Yes, but as I said, I’m not sure if things will be different this time around so we have to wait to see what starts it all. At first he starts by staging an accident that kills several members of the pack, and he uses that momentum to his advantage. He also kills the Luna and tries to marry Owen off to another Alphas daughter. It’s a mess but knowing everything now we can get ahead of these things. I know times and dates of the events and what happens, so we just have to prepare for those outcomes.” I try to say as calmly as possible, but I’m feeling the pressure.

‘You will do the right thing.’ Anaya says.

‘We don’t know that yet.’ I tell her.

‘We do know because you are a goddess now. Your powers are far stronger and can be used in so many ways. You are even more powerful than Elena was because you are the White Wolf. Don’t doubt yourself and accept every part of your new self and you can save all of us. I believe in you.’ She says nearly making me cry.

‘Thank you.’

“So where do we start?” Owen asks.

“It would be the wisest course to have Amelia and her mates complete the mating bond.” The elder says.

Liam groans in disgust. “I don’t want to hear this.”

I laugh but my face is on fire.

“Once Alo and I arrive we can begin to make plans for all eventual outcomes. See you all soon.” He ends the call.

“Alright I’m not sticking around for any bonding with my sister. Olivia let’s go.” Liam grabs her hand and helps her to her feet before dragging her to the door.

“Call me later!” She yells at me over her shoulder.

“I must prepare for Alo and the Elder. Contact me if I’m needed.” Natalia lowers her head to me before following Liam and Olivia out.

There is a long silence once everyone is gone, and I try not to look at my two mates right away.

“Well that old geezer is a blunt one isn’t he? I suppose if the wise man says we consummate our bond then we should do that. So, how do you want to do this?” Alexander asks.

My eyes land on Owen first and I see him glaring at Alexander.

“My wolf is territorial and has held back from killing you four times since we’ve met. He will not let you near our mate until she has claimed him. So, I will go first.” Owen says with finality.

“Like bloody hell! I was given the honor of soul mate status which means our bond is stronger than some wolf mating.” Alexander counters.

They go back and forth for a good two minutes before I finally step in.

“Alright knock it out boys. No fighting. If we are talking about efficiency, then it would be the most practical to do this together.” I suggest…well sort of.

“Together? I’m not letting his dick near me.” Owen says in protest.

I try not to laugh at the disgust in his face. “Not that I would have a problem with that, but I mean you two with me at the same time.”

Even to my ears it sounds crazy and way too much for me but we need to get this done and soon.

“A-are you sure?” Owen asks with a surprised stutter.

I hesitate for a second before nodding. “I am. Unless you two would rather take turns.”
They have that right, but I’m not sure if Owen’s wolf would let me leave him to mate with Alexander until tomorrow if at all.

“I’m game. No sword crossing and pleasing my soul mate? Sounds like good to me.” Alexander says, giving me a knowing smile.

I look at Owen and wait for him to speak.

He looks at me and I try to keep my face neutral so as not to influence his decision. Eventually he sighs.

“Fine but my wolf goes first, or he really might kill you and that would upset Amelia.” He doesn’t sound happy, but I’ll take it.

I move around the table between us to stand in front of him. He lifts his head to look up at me and I reach my hand out to run my fingers through his hair. His eyes fall shut and I lean down to kiss him softly.

“I won’t leave your side when we’re finished. I promise.” I whisper to him.

He opens his eyes and nods. “Good because I don’t think my wolf will let you go. He’s pretty excited right now.”

Anaya huffs not impressed by his wolf at all, just like before.

“I know. Let’s not keep him waiting.” I tell him before I take his hand.
