Jason's pov :
Why can't life be easy?
Why can't we get what we want?
The one thing which I decided was that I won't let it be as complicated as George and Fiona, it's still okay if your feelings are complicated but it can't be fine if your relationship becomes complicated.
So, I'll try to figure out something soon. I know that love doesn't happen just by a glance of any person, love is a process to know and grow with each other.
But what to do if you can't live peacefully?
My mental health matters a lot to me, so I'll be honest with her and tell her everything that I feel about her and I won't lie to her, I'll make it clear to her that I still don't know it's just attraction or love but this is whatever I have and what I can do.
There are so many differences among us but I can't date someone who is just like me, it'll be boring and tiresome. So, sometimes you just should try one "e - 'opposite attracts and they can make a good pair'.
I was drinking my coffee in my room because Barbie wasn't in town yet, she was still busy with her fashion show and yesterday she informed me on call that she had got an offer of a photoshoot with a popular photographer who had won so many awards in photography.
The proposal was made by a shoe brand and the photoshoot would be in Los Angeles. So, she'll be in her hometown soon.
After all, Los Angeles is a pretty glamorous and beautiful city. But I don't like the race of this city where everyone is just trying to compete hard and want to defeat the other person.
I miss Barbie a lot but I can't keep her at home for a selfish reason. I love her and I want to see her around me always, this home doesn't feel like home when she is not there.
My friends were also chilling at their places, I couldn't call them because George wanted to have some alone time like Fiona. Alex and Theo went to Theo's dance academy to get the details about admission procedures and competitions.
At the end of the day, I was alone at home and sipping my coffee on a beautiful evening. I went to the balcony of my room and felt the cold air touching my face.
The weather was so awesome and the wind was reminding me of Lia.
I thought about calling her but I didn't want to sound desperate and I had no reason to call her. So, I ignored this desire.
Sometimes it's better to shoo away the inadequate desires.
I slept after eating the hotdog and woke up the next day early in the morning. I slept for ten hours like a pig after thinking about Lia for one hour. I took a cold shower and changed into gym clothes.
Black was my colour and maybe red was hers but I can't be sure because I haven't seen her in other colours. I arrived at the gym a little early so that I could wait for her and we could go to the gym together.
After waiting for five minutes, I found her climbing down from her car. She threw a dazzling smile towards me as soon as she noticed me standing outside of the gym.
"Morning, Jason!" She greeted me and we marched into the gym.
"Good morning, Lia!"
"Did you talk to George?"
"No! He also wants some alone time like Fiona."
She let out a giggle, "I also have a gut feeling that they will make a good pair as long as George stops behaving like a jerk."
I get stuck between my friends and my crush, she always curses my friend and my friends tease me by her name. What the fuck!
"He needs time to move on and accept the things, can we please not argue on this topic?"
Lia started doing her exercise, and I started doing mine. I feel like I need to get bigger biceps as she also had small biceps and I should try to be a person who can deserve her.
I sat on the bicep curl machine and started my workout. After finishing my one-hour workout, I cleaned all the sweat from my face and body. My eyes searched for her while sipping the water but I couldn't find her, she had already left perhaps.
Her confidence makes me nervous, I don't know what I'm gonna do with this girl but my heart wants her only.
I finished my breakfast and moved to my room. The only benefit of Barbie's absence is I don't need to follow her rules, I can eat breakfast before taking shower, too. I selected one cute baby pink Prada hoodie and white Levi's cargo pants to get along with the hoodie.
After fixing my hair with gel, I took a last glance at the mirror and drove to school. George should be better now and we have given him enough alone time to think and clear his head. I hope he can cope up with something better.
"Hey, Jay!" A strange girl attacked me with her flirtatious smile.
No! I can't handle this in the morning, I need a better start to my day. I avoided looking at her and saying anything, I parked my bike and tramped to the class.
I didn't know which one was the class of Lia? I wanted to see her but I didn't know where she would be, so I just ignored all the stuff in my mind and arrived in class.
"Man, you are late, today! Don't tell me that you spent two hours for this perfection!" Alex sighed and pointed to my hair.
"No! Just forty-five minutes and I'm looking perfect, right?" I smirked and searched for George, he wasn't here yet.
Theo stared at Alex and me one by one, "are you guys done with fun?" He crossed his arms while Alex patted his shoulder, "easy, dude! We know George will be here in no time," Alex tried to calm him down.
"He isn't answering my calls. I think we should go to his place, and Jay, you call Lia to ask about Fiona," Theo came up with his best idea.
I quickly called Lia and heard her voice in the morning. I kept walking to the parking plot while conversing with her on the phone. Theo and Alex were also following me and Alex was trying to call George, "What the fuck! He isn't receiving my call, too," he screamed in a frustrated voice.
"Are you his girlfriend? If he isn't answering my calls, then why will he answer your calls?" Theo muttered under his breath.
I hung up the call, "guys, Fiona also hasn't answered Lia's calls and messages."
"I think they are hanging out somewhere and hiding from everyone. My sixth sense is saying that George would have gone to Fiona's home last evening and he would have kissed her so hard until she stopped him by slapping on his ass," Alex narrowed his eyes and smirked.
"They would have cleared everything between them and they'll give us the surprise when they'll come to school as a couple. You know, like holding each other's hand and kissing each other's cheeks and hands, George wouldn't mind kissing her on the lips in the school but I guess Fiona would stop him…" He just kept chattering and Theo cut him off, "stop! Stop maundering!
I shook my head, "do you want to be a filmmaker? And even if you want to be, trust me, we won't come to watch your shadow movie," I exhaled and saw Lia coming towards us, "guys, please, shut your mouth! Lia is coming and I don't want another mess, so you better behave."
"George and Fee aren't answering our calls, should we go to their places? But I don't know where Fee lives? Do you know Jason where her home is? One day is enough for alone time, what are they still doing?" Lia kept asking and suggesting without even a break for a second.
Alex retorted, "can you ask one question at one time? I couldn't even understand your questions," he shrugged, Theo and I gave a death glare to him to shut his fucking mouth.
He raised his eyebrow as he couldn't understand anything, dumbass Alex!
Theo held his arm and took him farther than us, they left me alone with mad Lia and she was silent.
"Hey! Don't be worried much about them! Everything will be alright, soon. And please, don't mind Alex's words, he is brainless."
"Seems so…"
"I know her place, I'll take you there, Theo and Alex will go to George's home."
She didn't say anything but her gloomy face is what I don't want to see ever. I want a smile playing on her lips forever.
I talked to Theo and we were about to leave the school but then, we saw George coming in his car with a girl in the passenger seat. Lia was going to sit on my bike but as soon as she noticed George, she froze.
