Chapter 69

Theo's pov :
When I was dancing, I saw a girl standing so far alone staring at me shouting my name and clapping. After completing the performance, the first thing I noticed was that girl who gazed at me with her perplexed complexion.
The mentors and anchor were gibbering something but that wasn't more important than the girl who came to meet me. I recognized that girl whom I loved like a bedlamite.
I wanted to leave the stage and rush over to her but I was in the competition and my action won't make sense to the other people who were sitting in the audience and the judges who were asking me about my feelings for Casey. Because no one could understand my love for Barbie.
Casey held my hand and came closer to me while smiling and facing me. Fuck! What was wrong with her? She leaned forward to kiss me but I removed her hand immediately and moved her backwards by forcing a little. Barbie had turned her face and she was leaving.
No! I couldn't lose her again, I was sure that she came here to say something to me. Maybe we were going to have a conversation but whatever she was listening and seeing was enough to make her leave.
I didn't want any misunderstanding between us, I had to take the risk.
"I'm sorry but I have had someone in my heart since the fifth grade. I love her more than I could think of loving anyone. Maybe we are the best couple as dancers but in real life, my heart belongs to someone else." As soon as my voice fell into her ears, she paused her hand on the door. That meant she was listening to me and I had a chance to make everything clear.
"I'll wait to have that girl but I'll never go for any other girl in this life. I wish that girl could just turn to make my heart skip a beat like always." If she came here for me, she would understand my words and won't leave. I was waiting to see her beautiful face, it seemed like the world paused for that moment and the earth stopped revolving.
And suddenly my world lightened up when she turned to see me while blushing. Her smile automatically forged a smile on my face.
She raced towards me and crashed her lips against mine in a frustrated kiss. I could hear everyone shouting and applauding but at that moment, I couldn't care less about the world.
I closed my eyes and kissed her back with the same passion, love, intensity, hunger, and frustration. So many emotions were involved in that kiss so it didn't end so soon. We both kept kissing each other until the anchor commented, "wow! What a perky move! This is going to create a history of this competition."
She stopped kissing me and parted our bodies that were already on fire. We knew that we had so many things to talk about but those two days were awful for me and she came to Singapore meant those two days were not good for her, too. I held her hand and intertwined our fingers so we were standing on the stage together.
"Seems like God has already granted your wish so your journey starts from here as a dancer and as a lover." Lucy gave me a compliment with a smile on her face. Everyone ignored Casey because nobody wanted to make it awkward or embarrassing for her.
I wanted to sympathise with Casey but I didn't feel anything for her so I chose to remain silent. Maybe I was being mean and rude but I didn't appreciate her kissing me without even knowing my feelings.
"Well, congratulations to the new couple! Let's move to the numbers!" The anchor finally proposed what he should have said after the performance.
Lucy and Summer were the mentors who gave challenges to all the contestants and then, they would select whom they would keep under them. And the day after tomorrow, the main competition will take place.
"You both are so good and your moves!" Summer sighed in amazement while widening his eyes. "I want both of you in my team but Lucy won't let me do it!"
After discussing the things for a few seconds, they again turned on their mikes. "Casey Stewart, welcome to my team!" Lucy announced and I knew that I'll go under Summer.
The audience shouted and clapped in joy because they will see us in the competition, we weren't disqualified.
I thanked the mentors and went backstage never leaving her hand. I could hear some of the people shouting, "congratulations!" And I glanced at Barbie who was already smiling but the smile vanished from her face when her eyes met Casey's eyes.
"May I steal your boyfriend for a minute?" Casey asked Barbie, throwing a tight-lipped smile at her.
Barbie was the queen of sarcasm so she also smiled while rolling her eyes. "No one can steal my boyfriend, and if you want to talk to him, ask him! You don't need my permission to talk to him." She giggled and laid her other hand on my arm.
I could see the jealousy in her actions and the sarcasm in her words. Casey was speechless, she was staring at Barbie as if she wanted to kill her but the poor girl didn't know that that would never happen until I was alive.
"Whatever you wanna say, you can say in front of my girl. There is no secret between us."
Casey passed me an annoyed look as if I cared for her. "Okay! As everyone said, our chemistry was so good in our dance and as dancers, dance means life to us. We can have good chemistry in our lives. She is sexier and hotter than me but I bet she can't love you forever. You'll get bored with her soon and when you'll be fed up with her, you'll search for a partner like me who can accompany you in everything, either bed or stage." She winked at me with a flirtatious smile on her face.
I felt like I was being rude and mean to her but I had no regret for that anymore. She was a bitch, if someone said no, that meant no! There was nothing to talk about then still, she was trying to hit on me.
"Maybe you are the best partner in the world but for me, she is the best. She is my everything and I'll never feel bored with her because she is damn," I went a little closer to her and mumbled in her ear, "best in bed that I don't need anyone else for the rest of my life." Though it was loud enough to listen.
"Fuck you!" Casey muttered with gritted teeth and walked away.
Jay was standing with everyone else a little farther than us, everyone's mouth was dropped. I also felt shocked when I saw them there.
Damn! Maybe they have heard what I stated to Casey. It was going to be super awkward between Jay and me.
"Adventurous!" Alex uttered just one word and closed his mouth. Girls shot him what the heck looks and George cleared his throat as if he was an eighty years old man.
Jay came to Barbie and hugged her, she removed her hands from me and hugged her dear brother. "I'm happy for you." Jay asserted and smiled while seeing me. "Thank you, Jay!" She whispered and patted his back.
Everyone else stared at them while Lia was smiling. Oh! So it was she who changed his perception.
"Congratulations, Theo!" Lia pulled me in a hug and I looked at Jay who was already giving me a death glare. I passed him the same glare that he was giving to me and pointed to him that he was doing the same thing.
"We'll do a party tonight in the double celebration! You are selected for the next round and you are not single anymore." Alex announced and George nodded.
Last night, they wanted to do a party but I refused to come because I was too gloomy to attend any party. My mind was stuck in Los Angeles where she lied about her feelings. But then, everything changed and I had no grief anymore so I would gladly join them. I showed him a thumbs up and agreed to his proposal.
"Thank you, Barbie for coming! Otherwise, he would again make an excuse for not going to the party." George mocked me and I scowled in response. He was indeed right but I still didn't want to show anybody how that girl affected me more than she should!
And she glared at me with a smug smile so she already knew her influence on me. I sighed and remembered her jealousy of Casey so I also had a point to tease her.
"Lia, let's leave them alone! We need to take lunch, I'm starving." Fiona saved me from all the teasing and questions. I needed to talk to Barbie, we still didn't talk about anything.
Everyone left after waving their hands so we were alone and we could talk. "Should we go for lunch?" I was sure that she must have not eaten anything, she was already looking so exhausted.
