Liliana's pov :
Justin didn't show up, I had a premonition that he was going to create some troubles for me. It wasn't unexpected or shocking for me, it's what he always did but what about Jay, then?
To see him suffering because of my mishmash would be the last thing I would want to watch.
"Hey, lost head!"
Fee's voice came from my behind, I quickly changed my expressions and hid my worries.
"You lost, you can't hide anything from me," she came in front of me and crossed her hands to her chest.
"Why did I ever try?" I rolled my eyes and accepted my defeat.
She knew Justin from her first day of the job, she was acquainted with his manipulative attitude but I didn't want to bother Jay to handle my matters.
"What are you thinking? Is Justin alright? I know the boys are possessive and they don't want us to care for Justin but the fact is that we are still caring for them only, what if he goes to the cops and um, you are getting it, right?" Fee deciphered her concern.
My subconscious was saying that Justin won't do that but his words were flummoxing me too much.
"Yea, I'm getting everything but these boys are too much. I also didn't say anything to Jay because I knew that he would think as I care about Justin, not for him. And after hearing Justin's fucking words, I didn't want to take the risk either."
"I also wanted to stop George, I'm a servant and that's what my job is, I'm not ashamed of it, I'm not robbing anyone or begging someone. Working hard for bread and butter isn't embarrassing for me, I don't care what the work I'm doing, this is paying me well and that's it. Justin wasn't lying, I agree that the way he was saying it was not the good one yet it wasn't the good reason for punching someone."
Sometimes I felt sorry for Fee, she was an extremely diligent girl, doing a job when you were in your high school wasn't duck soap for her. I knew she wouldn't take my help so I never offered any help to her.
"Should I have waited until he humiliates you more? Shouldn't you be happy that your boyfriend is taking care of you? What you just said is pissing me off, Fiona!" George appeared out of blue and uttered with clenched teeth.
Fee turned to see her boyfriend, "should I be happy for your possessive nature? It's the fact that I'm a maid at Lia's home and I'm not willing to leave my job just because you don't want your girlfriend to do this work," she spoke bluntly and I saw Jay standing beside George with a smile on his face.
Is this boy crazy or what?
How could he smile when they are fighting on a serious issue?
It wasn't one of their cute banners at all.
"What the fuck! When did I say that I have any problem with your job? Or did I ask you to leave your work? I want you to…," George approached Fee and stroked her face with his thumb.
Fee took a step back and cut him off, "I don't want you to tell me what you want me to do. Find another girlfriend for you who would obey you willingly, I love my freedom, fuck off!" Fee barked at him.
"You should at least listen to him for once before saying anything, Fiona," Jay suggested as he was the only mature and understanding guy in the world.
"You always ask me to have patience and not to speak anything between them, then where is your patience, now?" I wasn't going to let him do what he didn't let me do.
George held Fee by her waist and brought her closer, "I want you to be strong enough to face the jerks like him and I'm gonna protect you until you become that strong girl even if you like it or not. And you also never tell me what to do, I'm never gonna find any girlfriend, is this clear to you?" His warning seemed quite threatening and a promise.
Fee looked into his eyes without any apprehension, she was looking like the most confident girl while staring at him. She wasn't blushing, her face was void.
She tried to unfetter herself from his grip but he seized her both hands with one hand and tightened his hold on her waist with his other arm, "am I clear, baby?" He mumbled.
I wanted to help her but I didn't want to interrupt them so I neglected the thought of releasing her from his hold, they were indeed looking cute together.
"Leave me, George!"
"The story is progressing, from bastard to George, are you getting it guys?" Alex cracked the joke and everyone laughed at his remarks.
George blushed and Fee seemed more pissed off, "don't use your strength on me! Leave me right now!" Fee challenged him in raucous noise.
He immediately released her, Fee didn't wait for a second and slapped on his face.
"I know that I'm not strong, you and Lia have rescued me from the jerks. I'm aware of myself, I can't fight back but that doesn't mean you will use your power on me," Fee howled out while tears flowed out of her eyes.
I hastily grabbed Fee as she was about to fall, she had told me about that, I knew she felt weak whenever she couldn't fight back. Still, I couldn't help her and she was crying.
George didn't bother to solace her, he just walked off.
"What the fuck, George! You can stop behaving like an asshole," I screamed out in a high-pitched voice.
Theo came closer to us and patted Fee's back, "you are not weak or alone, we are with you."
Alex muttered, "he isn't receiving my call," it was loud enough to hear.
I heard the slamming door of the car, so I turned to see who the fucker was there to break his car's door!
George ran to Fee, "let's go!" He said to Fee while caressing her palm and wiped her tears with his thumb.
He eyed me, "I'll drop her at your place within one hour."
"I'm sorry, baby!" He carried her in bridal style and moved to his car, Fee didn't protest so did I.
George placed her in the passenger seat and again wiped her tears, Fee was continuously crying and it was aching in my heart to see her tears. I was sure that George was also feeling her pain, the way he reacted was startling to me but he wasn't immoral.
"Don't worry, he'll take care of her!" Jay hugged me and I felt so guilty for again judging him wrong, "I'm sorry! I jud…," he laid his index finger on my lips, "it's not fine but it's okay! We are humans, not the synonym of perfection."
"You should also try to have more patience, I'm disappointed with you."
"I can make it up to you."
"How?"
"By...um, kissing you…?"
I giggled, "no! I don't want to give a free show to everyone."
He squinted his eyes, "then, what's about making a charge of it? Ten dollars per person…?" He winked at me and we laughed at each other, "pervert!" I ejaculated.
Alex coughed, "we are leaving, you guys carry on!" Theo and Alex left us alone.
We were still at the school and so many people were watching us, "we need to do our assignment, what's about going on a date?"
I had a job and I didn't want to take leave, "um, I should go to the restaurant now. We'll catch up at 6 pm…?"
He bobbed his head, "but we haven't taken lunch yet, let's go to Mary's restaurant for lunch!"
"It's my workplace, Jay. I don't like you coming there often," I scowled and started walking towards the bus stop.
"Wait! I'm gonna come nonetheless, so why waste your time when you can save it by coming with me?"
"Fine! You are too stubborn," I raised my hands in the air.
He locked our hands, "I like to walk with you," he squeezed my palm.
I didn't say anything, faced the other side, and slapped my cheeks slowly to fade away the blush.
"What are we? You didn't answer my question yet," he accosted while starting his bike.
"I guess we need to find this together, we are dating but we are not sure about the future like I'll love you or not. I want you to be honest with me because that's what I would also do," I sat on the bike and placed my hands on his back while feeling a bit awkward.
He started driving, "alright! Are we boyfriend and girlfriend or not? Because I truly fancy you, and um, I can say that you are the reason for my sleepless nights. I also don't know much about love either, as it's our first love. Let's cherish these moments and try to work this out!"
