Chapter 63

Liliana's pov :
"You finally got friends and now you are going on vacation with them," my mom's eyes squinted. "I feel like you are moving to normal life from your abnormal life, and this is what I wanted, Lily!" A smile played on her lips.
Her reaction was more dramatic than her high-society parties. I was never an abnormal girl but according to my mother, being different from others was like being abnormal. I thought she must be angry that I couldn't arrive at dinner in time but everyone was already in their room when I reached home.
Who cared that much for me?
"It's not like vacation, we are going to cheer up our friend who is gonna have a competition there," I tried to make it more clear again.
She sighed, "at least, I can live in relief that you are enjoying your life. After all, we have money and what will we do with it if you are not gonna use it?" My mother shrugged. "Don't forget to take your credit card and debit card with you! I want you to spend some money and enjoy yourself completely without worrying about anything. You are not just going on a trip, you are going to make memories, one day, you'll miss these memories so cherish the moments and enjoy them!"
For the very first time, my mom advised something like that, her words had emotions and her eyes jolted out with delectation. Euphoria mixed up in my blood, that reaction from my mother wasn't exactly what I'd had in my mind.
"Okay! Well, my flight is in the next four hours so I need to pack some stuff," with a grateful smile, I took leave from her room. To my wonder, she hugged me and kissed my forehead. She was giving me back to back surprises and I was feeling too overwhelmed by that.
Richard didn't even open the door of his room last night and when I needed to go to Singapore for I didn't know how many days, I wanted to talk to him.
I again went to his room, the door was already open but still, I didn't want to ruin his privacy so I knocked on the door but when he didn't answer after shouting his name hundreds of times, I welcomed myself in his room.
"Richard, can you at least say yes, come in?" I scowled and found him staring at me with wrathed eyes.
He still didn't bother to say anything, feeling the satisfaction of staring at my beautiful face for a minute, he turned his face towards the window.
I took a deep breath to handle the drama of my little brother, "I know yesterday, I couldn't make it on time but there was a mess in my life, too that I had to solve."
"You were out after lunch yet you couldn't move your ass home at 10 pm and you expected me to be cool with it?" His eyebrows arched up in fury. "I had some expectations from you that's why I asked for the help, I didn't think that you would forget your promise or maybe you just lied to me to take revenge."
That was the least behaviour I expected from him, the pride in me boiled with anger. "Give me a break, Richard! Give me a break!" I smirked and laughed. "Don't you think that you are so selfish? It was my birthday and I celebrated with my friends for the first time, there was an issue that I couldn't leave from there. It's good that you didn't come with me because you couldn't behave like Ben, he helped me with it and you, you are just ridiculous!" I shrugged and bounced my hands in the air in defence.
"Wait, what? Ben came to your birthday party...?" He grimaced in disbelief. "That means you had an amazing day while I was tense and troubled about myself."
I regretted my words, I haven't told anyone in the house yet that Ben came to Los Angeles and returned without seeing them.
"Well, it was an amazing day but why are you behaving like this? You should be grateful that I agreed to help you and support you but you are behaving like it was completely my fault. I came here to apologize but the way you are acting, I'm never gonna say sorry. You were never a good brother to me still, I forgot all the bad things that you did to me and promised to support you but look at you, you are not even trying to understand my situation." I couldn't be more mature in that condition.
"My friend needs me, who always helped me so I'm leaving for Singapore in the next four hours. And still, I'll support you because you have the right to live however you want and your sexuality is nothing to be ashamed of! I don't know when I'll be back but remember one thing, prepare your best apology until I come back because I'm not gonna forgive you that easily."
When I finished being a bitch, I left his room while closing the door with a thud. My anger needed to come out from my veins in any way so the door seemed the best item.
I never liked counting favours to anyone but that couldn't be my weakness. I had to take my stand when someone tried to make me feel guilty for something where my mistake was null. Sometimes you have to take your stand otherwise, people will forget so easily that you are a human and you have a heart, too that contains some emotions but you have to prove that you have a mind, too that knows what's wrong and right!
After finishing the packing, I dropped a text in the Whatsapp group to ask about when I should leave for the airport?
Jay immediately called me, "of course, I'll pick you up from your home, baby!"
"Normally, people say hello when someone receives their call," I imagined his giggling face. "Don't baby me always! It seems so childish sometimes."
He sighed, "are you an eighty years old lady? I'll call you baby always, you can't deny me like that," he protested in a very calm voice.
"Fine! Too cheesy!"
"Yes! I love the cheese and you, too!"
"Too sweet talker!"
"Yes! I love sweets and you, too!"
I chuckled to listen to our cute rhyming conversation. A few moments ago, I was outraged and annoyed but after talking to him, I felt much better.
"So when are you coming to pick me up?" I asked.
"Turn!"
"What?"
Suddenly, a hand encircled my waist and I felt tickling in my skin.
"You came directly to my room…?" My eyes widened and my breath quickened in anticipation when he nuzzled my neck and I turned my face aside to give him more access.
When I expected him to kiss me hard on my lips, he just nibbled my earlobe and got away from me after turning me on, "no! First of all, I came into the hallway and then, met your mom, I asked her about you and she told me that you are in your room so then, I came here."
After explaining everything, he smirked.
So he wanted to play the games, right? Well, I was not going to give in that easily.
"Okay! Let's go, then!" I played the cool while controlling my heavy breathing.
For a millisecond, his face showed the expression of amazement but he quickly peeled it off, "okay!" He smiled and took my luggage in his hand. "Shall we go?"
"Of course! I can't wait to see everyone else, Fiona must be waiting for me and I need to discuss with her about our…" I was shaking my head to pretend to be cool, unaffected by his torture but he again held my waist and shoved me into his chest.
His sudden move startled me, he dropped the hold on the suitcase and shifted his other hand to my chin, "you are being too naughty."
I raised my head to meet his eyes, he was a bit taller than me, "seriously? I should say that for you."
He leaned forward to make me shiver, "I wanna be that, why are you holding yourself back?" He challenged me to start what he wanted to do.
My maniac body wanted to betray me and get groggy in the desires.
Someone knocked on the door and made a throat-clearing voice. I hastily escaped from his grip, never breaking eye contact with him while smiling and making him feel that he wasn't the only one who could play cool.
"I had your cards so I came to give them to you, I knew you wouldn't remember it," my mom rolled her eyes and gave them to me.
"Thanks, mom! I'll spend your money."
She gazed at me in marvel, "whatever is mine, it's yours, too, honey!"
I giggled in response, I knew it though I wanted to make something on my own and that was too underrated in my mom's opinion.
"Shall we go?" I threw a teasing glance at Jay despite knowing what he wanted to do.
He just nodded, "there is no need for her credit or debit card when I'm with her," he threw a polite smile at my mom.
"Oh, dear! It's fine, she should learn to use the credit and debit cards." As if I was a toddler who didn't know how to use it!
"It's fine, Jay!" Would you stop being possessive about everything? I would be damned if I would ask this question in front of my mom so I declined the question.
He gave me an it's-not-fine glare and took the luggage in his hands.
"Make sure to come back just like this!" My mother smiled at both of us. "I don't appreciate being pregnant as a teenager so," she looked at me and then turned to Jay, "take care of her!"
She immediately made her way out of the room while leaving both of us shocked at her words. I was blushing so hard that I had to scowl to hide my blush.
"Well, your mom is so cool!" He winked at me.
I laid my finger on my chin, "I don't wanna get late."
"Okay!" He gave me a tight-lipped smile followed by squinted eyes and scowled to show me his annoyance at my non-romantic side.
I chuckled to see his dramatic face. "Let's go, now!" I started walking to the stairs.
He followed me, "sure, my love!"
"It's totally fine with me if you don't call me by these sweet pet names." I turned to see his cute expressions. Seeing his cute face was an enjoyment that I couldn't miss anyways.
He made a pouting face, "I'm not gonna follow all your orders, okay?" He ignored me and started walking ahead of me.
Jay and his cuteness! My cutie pie baby!
