Chapter 32
Jason's pov :
"You told me that you would meet me after the class, and you are chilling here with your friends," Mia complained to George like she was his girlfriend.
I thanked God for saving our lives because it wasn't Lia or Fiona. Otherwise, I couldn't even imagine what would have happened.
"Wait! You aren't his girlfriend, stop behaving like one!" Alex just couldn't resist the urge to taunt her.
I stifled a chuckle, sometimes Alex treats bitches better than anybody else.
Theo whispered into George's ear, "you learn to say no now, we can't deal with the bitches anymore."
George stood up from the chair and banged his hand on the table, "you are not my girlfriend, you should leave now or I'll offend you more. And don't you dare to roam around us again!"
I was over the moon to see that mien, the way he uttered in a sarcastic yet low voice, I was flattered to see this and his face had pure rage. Now I wasn't worried about Lia and Fiona being here.
Mia didn't bother to say anything, she just frowned and left the cafeteria. After getting a clear no, she must have been embarrassed and frustrated.
"Good job! I'm impressed," Theo patted his shoulder. No wonder why he always acted like a father because he was twenty-one years old hulk and we were teenagers though it didn't matter.
"So, how was my act? Should I shoot all the girls like this?" George asked with enthusiasm.
Alex reminded us of the main topic, "leave everything aside! Are you seriously a virgin? Tell me that you are kidding me."
Yes! How could it be possible? He always showed us the hickeys and the experience of his dirty scenes.
"I'm sorry, guys! But the first time, when Theo saw me kissing a girl, I was drunk as hell and that time, it was just my first step forward to move on yet I never could move on from my first love. I didn't want to make others suffer the same as me, so I used to tell them the truth that I'm not available for a relationship or love. And you won't believe it but I never met any decent girl, either she would slap me or she would jump on me," he shrugged and mumbled.
We were listening to him very carefully as our life depended on it.
"I used to do a hot make-out with every girl but never made love with anyone because they seemed slutty and insolent to me. Every time they used to be so drunk that the next morning when they found themselves naked, they thought I did something with them though I never did."
Theo couldn't digest that much, "dude, we never asked you the details of your sex life though you made up fake stories and explained us proudly. May I ask why did you do so? Why did you lie to us?" He emphasised the word-lie.
"I knew from the start that you guys were worried for me but I wanted to show you that I was okay!" George sighed and rested his hands on the table.
"Even when you were not okay, why did you do this? What are friends for? So, you can lie to them and fool them, right?" I lost my forbearance and my voice increased unintentionally.
George closed his eyes, "you are not friends, you are my family. How could I make my family concerned for me?" A solemn tear escaped from his eyes and he immediately hid his face.
I got up from my chair and hugged him, "we were always anxious about you, we already knew that you were badly hurt and not fine but we never mentioned that topic because we didn't want you to reminisce about the bad memories," I declared in a soft voice.
"You should have told the truth long ago, you were broken and you still are, you needed to share all the stuff with your friends but you buried them in your heart and now, it's a wound," Theo also came and hugged him.
Alex also aroused from his chair, "You are good at making stories, we never felt you were lying. You should become a storyteller in the future, I'll become a filmmaker, Theo will become the popular and hot choreographer of Hollywood, and Jay will carry his dad's business to the global stage," he spat nonsense as always.
"Don't create a sentimental scene, it's a canteen!
Go to your seats and take your heavy bodies off me," George growled and tried to look at us.
I sat on my chair and my eyes caught Lia and Fiona sitting in the cafeteria. Now, it was the perfect time to spill the truth from him.
"What's about Fiona? What do you think of her?"
Theo smiled at me, "we'll know this later. First, let him clear his past! Now, you bastard better tell us everything about your past! Otherwise, you won't be able to eat pizza or burgers, we'll make sure to fill your stomach with punches, kicks, and even we won't mind stabbing your stomach," he narrowed his eyes at George and raised an eyebrow.
"Yes, I badly want to beat you to the death," Alex also agreed with Theo and so did I.
"Guys, I still don't want you to be bothered about me, it's in the past. She cheated on me, I saw her kissing her best friend and I never went to her again. But she just took a part of me with her, I could never trust any girl again. And I seriously never met any girl with a crystal heart but Fiona…!" He flinched and turned his eyes towards the other side, in Fiona's direction, he found her sitting there and his eyes sparkled.
Before any of us could speak anything, George stood up from his place, "guys! I need to apologise to her, we'll talk about this later," and he marched to the table of Fiona and Lia.
He sat on his one knee, "please, forgive me! I'm sorry for behaving like an asshole. I'm a selfish bastard and brainless boy, can you please pardon me?" He sincerely begged Fiona.
I thought he was going to confess his love to Fiona when he sat on his one knee.
Everyone in the cafeteria was ogling at George and Fiona, we moved to support him.
Lia stood from her chair and she was going to say something, so I rushed to her and covered her mouth with my one hand and put another hand over her tummy, and lifted her to carry her away from them.
She tried to escape from me but my grip was so tight on her that she couldn't succeed. I put her down but I didn't loosen my grasp from her mouth, she tried to bite on my hand but I endured the pain.
What a disastrous day! Two girls had already bit my hand since morning, God knows what will happen till the night?
I looked into her blue eyes, "just tell me one thing, do you trust me or not? Do you think I'm selfish and I'll let him hurt Fiona, huh?"
She stopped biting my hand and shook her head in slow motion as no. I felt relieved so I uncovered her mouth.
"Don't speak a single word! Just watch!" I pointed my index finger towards her as the teacher explained something to the student.
George was still on the floor, their eyes locked with each other. Fiona didn't say anything but just kept staring at George with an impassive face.
"Why will Fiona accept his apology after what she saw in the morning?" Lia couldn't stay quiet.
"There are so many things which George confessed, today and you don't know."
Fiona broke eye contact, took her bag, and left the cafeteria. George stopped her, he held her hands, "please, don't go like this! I won't let you go until you accept my apology," he became as stubborn as Fiona was last time.
She didn't bother to look at him, "don't worry! I won't push you to the floor, you can stand here the whole day if you want," she didn't even try to remove his hand.
"Can you give me a second chance?"
"People are watching us and I don't want to be a part of their gossip."
He took his hand back and Fiona left the place. George didn't lose hope, he went behind her and followed her.
"Now, I've to leave! And don't you dare to forget to explain this all to me," Lia was ready to run off but I again stopped her.
"I'll tell you everything but please, give them some time!"
"why?"
"Because they love each other, and you don't need to interrupt their moment, let's just go to them! I'm sure that George will persuade her to accept his apology."
Alex and Theo were waiting for us, I just held her hand and started walking towards them.
