Cry For You

Clara - Ren's mother - paced her room angrily. Her son has been ignoring her calls for a while now. She just finished ordering her trained security guards to abduct her son.

Mary was in the kitchen preparing late breakfast with a smile on her face. "You can't do anything to me. I got your mother's backing," Mary thought. After she had set the table, Mary went upstairs to call Clara. "Auntie," Mary called knocking gently on Clara's door. Clara palmed her face to calm down before opening the door. "Call me mom. You are carrying my grandchild already," Clara smiled sweetly at her. "Alright mom," Mary smiled too.

They were halfway through with their breakfast when Ren was brought in. His hands and legs were tied together. A gag was used to muffle his grunts. Seeing Ren like this, Mary was heartbroken. She rushed to him and removed the gag from his mouth. "Mom, tell them to untie him," Mary cried while holding unto Ren. Ren pushed Mary off him and laid on the floor. Clara tooted a guard to untie him. Though he had been untied, Ren was still in his position. "Why did you ask them to kidnap me?" Ren questioned. "To register your marriage with Mary," Clara said with a smile on her face. "And who told you I will agree to marrying this slut?" Ren responded. "Mom, he called me a slut," Mary cried. "Tsk. Aren't you one?" Ren spat.

"Go and freshen up. We'll talk about this later," Clara said. Although he knew she was referring to him, Ren didn't budge. "Ren, I'm talking to you," Clara said. "Who are you to tell me what to do and what not to do?" Ren responded. For the first time, Ren talked back to his mother.

"Do you think he will come?" Old Mr Olsen questioned his wife. "Maybe," she replied. They had their breakfast in silence. About an hour after their breakfast, Mr Olsen drove to the family house. "Good morning young master," the maids and guards greeted as he went inside. "Where is she?" Mr Olsen questioned as soon as he got inside. He didn't even greet them. "She is in her room, son," Old Mr Olsen replied. "After her burial, I'll disown you as my patents so spare me the crap of calling me son," Mr Olsen said. His parents were stunned by his outburst. "If you want your companies, I'll hand them over to you. I've mine to manage already," Mr Olsen said with an expressionless look. "Why?" Mrs Olsen enquired. "Mom. Dad. I'm calling you those name for the last time. You couldn't protect her," Mr Olsen said and left for Gina's room.

"Gwen," Old Mr Olsen called his wife her name for the first time in almost thirty-five years. Mrs Olsen hugged her husband tightly as she sobbed on his chest. "When did our son become this cold? He used to care about others, right? When did everything change?" Old Mr Olsen couldn't stop himself from asking. "His change was all Piper's fault. She caused it. It all happened after what she did," Mrs Olsen sobbed more.

Mr Olsen felt cold as he held Gina's room's doorknob. He was afraid of the sight he would behold. He still didn't want to believe Gina was dead but he heard her just before she died. The favour she asked for kept ringing in his head but he was afraid he wouldn't keep it. His so-called parents couldn't protect a little girl like her. Summing up all his courage, Mr Olsen opened the door. He walked step by step to the bed. When he got to the bed, he paused. "Gina, I know you think I hate our parents. The truth is I don't know how to show my emotions except the negative ones since that incident. I would have love to tell you what happened but I want you to be happy in heaven. You are the only person in this family who understands me well. I've always been your best big bro and never have I broken down before you but I will now. I want your soul to see me cry. Cry for your death and also cry because I don't think I'll fulfill your last wish. As much as I wish I can, I'm afraid treating them as parents will hurt me because those hurtful memories will always reoccur," Mr Olsen went on his knees and sobbed his heart out.

After some time, Mr Olsen stopped crying and smiled. "If I cry more, you will feel bad in heaven, right?" Mr Olsen questioned. "I promise I will keep being strong for you but promise me something. Just promise me whenever I close my eyes to sleep in lieu of those bad memories, I want to see your smiling face. Just promise me that, okay?" he said. He opened the blanket covering Gina. Almost immediately, Gina hugged him tightly with tears streaming down her cheeks. "Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa," Mr Olsen screamed and pushed Gina off his body and ran away.

Linda's beautiful smile couldn't be erased as she went about her daily activities. Yesterday's kiss was still green in her memory. Though she didn't concede to the kiss and even pushed Henry away, she couldn't deny the fact that that short kiss conveyed all Henry's feelings for her. "Did I overreact by pushing him?" Linda thought.

After she was done, she dialed Henry's number. Henry saw his phone ringing but he was afraid to pick it. He thought she would shout at him and also cut off their friendship. And that, he is afraid of.

When he didn't pick up, Linda decided to stop calling Henry thinking he would return her calls if he sees the missed calls. Linda cleaned up and decided to do her grocery shopping. When she was done with her grocery shopping, she went to fix her hair and nails.

It wasn't up to an hour that Linda got to the salon that Sophia and Katherine also arrived. "Hey Linda," Katherine who saw her first waved at her. "Katherine. Sophia. How are you?" Linda responded. "We are fine," Katherine replied. "Are you going on a date tonight?" It was Katherine asking. Sophia poked her waist and glared at her. "Must I want to go on a date before I fix myself up?" Linda laughed. "You know yesterday was your birthday and your boyfriend didn't attend so I thought you guys decided to go on a date today," Katherine said. By then, Sophia was already being attended to.

Linda laughed. "I'm single," Linda said. "A beautiful lady like you should belong to a handsome dude," Katherine said. "What can that beautiful lady do when no one wants her?" Linda enquired, " Henry wants you," her subconscious mind frowned. "Well, well......," Katherine smiled sheepishly. "Kat," Linda called frowning. "What? I know nothing," Katherine raised her hands up in surrender and laughed. "Better," Linda rolled her eyes. Sophia smiled seeing Linda and Katherine get along well. "I can help though," Katherine gave a mischievous grin. "Help? With what? What would I need your help for?" Linda raised a questioning eyebrow. Lowering her voice to a whisper which only she and Linda can hear, Katherine said, " I know you love Henry." With wide eyes, Linda stared at Katherine. "Hey. We can talk about this later," Katherine smiled while walking away to be attended to.

Linda was surprised as to how Katherine got to know she loves Henry. Mhen! They just met yesterday's night. Do Sophia knows also? Linda couldn't stop herself from blushing while giving Sophia and Katherine side glances.

"What made Linda stare at you like a dummy?" Sophia asked when Katherine sat beside her. "Oh? That, I got something to tease her with," Katherine grinned widely. "Tell me also. I should tease her moreso we take lunch together at work," Sophia said. "If I tell you, promise me something," Katherine said. "Please. Just tell me," Sophia responded. "You don't even know what I want you to promise me," Katherine grinned impishly. "Promise. I promise inasmuch as you don't ask me to cook for a whole month," Sophia said looking pleadingly at Katherine. "Hmp! Fine! You are not cooking. Just promise to always record your conversation whenever you tease her," Katherine said. Sophia looked at Katherine like she was seeing a bad girl Kat. "I'm not a baddie. Hmp! If you think I am one, I should just keep the secret to myself," Katherine said.

"Arrrghhh! How come you read me so easily? Okay, you are not a bad girl," Sophia smiled sweetly at Katherine and even pinched her cheeks fondly. "Call me good girl three times before I finally agree with you," Katherine said. The stylist couldn't stop herself from chuckling at Katherine's childish behaviour. "Good girl Kat," Sophia said three times. "Tsk! These girls are interesting gossips," the stylist thought still concentrating on her work. "Linda loves Henry," Katherine said. "Really?" Sophia was flabbergasted. Katherine just nodded. "How come I didn't see it?" Sophia questioned no one. "It's not my fault some people have eyes but don't know how to use it," Katherine said. Sophia punched her side.
