Sophia was happy when Katherine told her about the boss's offer and what she intended to do with the pay. "Yes! Yes! Very soon, we will leave this place for our house. We are ambitious ladies," Sophia said. Katherine laughed at her. "I just hope that his sister won't be a spoilt child. You know these rich kids and their tantrums," Katherine said. "If she is a spoilt kid, deal with her till she does whatever you want," Sophia said. "Deal with her? She seems to be the apple of Mr Olsen's eyes. If she reports me, he will sack me," Katherine said. "Okay. Deal with her gently then," Sophia said. "Both gently and harshly. I'm not dealing with anybody," Katherine said. "If you insist," Sophia shrugged.

The driver who took Katherine to Clane Limited was the one who was assigned to pick her. "Good morning sir," Katherine greeted with a smile. "Morning ma'am. How are you faring?" the driver replied with his own smile. "Good," Katherine answered back. The drive to Mr Olsen's place was a peaceful silence. When the driver pulled up at the garage, Katherine felt nervous. "What if Mr Olsen is still at home? What if his parents live with him?" Katherine wondered. She inhaled and exhaled before stepping out of the car. The driver led her to the main house. When they got there, the driver just opened the door.

"You should have knocked," Katherine frowned at the driver's behaviour. "If I do from now till eternity, young madam won't open the door," the driver said. Katherine nodded pitifully. One problem noted. "You can go in," the driver smiled and left. Katherine was impressed by the simplicity of the house design. "Hello. Anybody home?" Katherine announced her arrival. "Who are you?" Gina asked from her room using the walkie talkie she placed in the sitting room. Katherine was startled and wondered where the voice was coming from. She turned around and found a walkie talkie on the table. She picked it. "Hello," she said.

"I asked a goddamn question. Who are you?" Gina asked angrily She didn't like the idea of being taught how to cook by anyone other than her brother. "I'm the chef assigned to teach you how to cook," Katherine said. She wanted to add 'lazy girl' but stopped cause she needed the money from this job. "I told big bro I don't want anyone except him," Gina mumbled. "Come here. Let me show what I got then you can decide whether to want anyone else or not," Katherine said. "On my way then," Gina left her room.

When Gina got to the sitting room, Katherine was checking everywhere out. "Are you here to teach me how to cook or check our house out?" Gina questioned. "Both," Katherine responded and turned around. Gina's eyes almost popped when she saw her cook was Katherine. Katherine was also surprised. "So it's Gina who was being a sassy kid," Katherine wondered with a smirk on her face. One punishment noted, she mentally took note.

"Sister Kat, how are you doing?" Gina went to hug Katherine, " I didn't know you were the one I was talking to. I'm sorry for sounding disrespectful," Gina said and engulfed Katherine more in the hug. Katherine smiled and patted her back. "You are forgiven but first, you need to make me breakfast," Katherine said. Gina let go of Katherine and stared at her. "You are to teach me how to cook," Gina said. Katherine laughed, "Between the two of us, we both know you can cook," she said. "Haaaaaa," Gina grunts, "Now, I'm forced to regret that I helped you in the kitchen," Gina said. "Oh my stomach!" Katherine suddenly held her stomach and cried out. Gina became startled and went to her hurriedly. "It's breakfast I need," Katherine said still holding her stomach. Gina rushed to prepare breakfast. Katherine grinned mischievously after Gina left. "If not the easy way then the hard way will do," Katherine thought.

Gina and Katherine did nothing but play around the house. "Will you like to see the cats? They are big and beautiful," Gina said. "No! No, I don't want to see any cat," Katherine said hiding behind Gina. Gina laughed at her. "Even you are afraid of cats," she said. "I used to love cats when I was young until one day," Katherine said. "What happened that day?" Gina asked. "A cat scratched my beautiful face all because I carried its kitten," Katherine said and touched her face. "It took almost five weeks before I had my beautiful face again. Ever since then, I hate cats," Katherine said.

Gina and Katherine prepared dinner. Katherine left before Mr Olsen arrives from work. Mr Olsen was glad to come home to dinner. He was happy that soon Gina will be able to prepare their meals. Then, he wouldn't have to be bothered about preparing food. "Do you like the chef or you want me to change her?" Mr Olsen asked. "I like her. She is friendly and her meals are mouth-watering," Gina said. "I'm glad you like her. Ensure you take lessons and ask her questions if you do not understand a recipe," Mr Olsen said. "Ok bro, I will," Gina said and left for her room.

Katherine got home to meet Sophia already home. "How are you?" How was work today?" Katherine asked dropping her bag on the chair. "I'm not fine. Work was good," Sophia responded. "What happened? Do you have headache?" Katherine asked. "No. I don't feel headache," Sophia sulked. "Then what is wrong with you?" Katherine asked checking her forehead temperature. "Common, that is not what is doing me," Sophia said. "Okay. Talk to me," Katherine urged. "I've been unable to reach Jake and he hasn't called too," Sophia sulked. Katherine laughed at her. "Don't tell me you are lovesick," Katherine said. "If that is what it is, I am," Sophia said. "Don't worry. I'm sure he is busy that is why he hasn't called," Katherine said. "Let's call him again," Sophia said like a baby.

They dialed Jake's number. Jake picked before the end of the last ring. "Sweetheart," Jake's tired voice tried to sound lively over the phone. Katherine gave Sophia the look of 'I told you he was busy'. "Are you fine? You sound tired," Sophia said. "Oh? It's nothing. I've just been busy all day," Jake said. "Mr Jake, please sir, you know you've to rest well so as to heal fast," Katherine and Sophia heard someone say. "Jake!" Sophia called but he already ended the call.
