She is Incompetent
Mr Olsen and Gina had some siblings moment. "Tell me about your time in school," Mr Olsen said. "It was awesome! I met new people. Some of them are bad according to my judgement of them while some are good. I even came across this hot nerd. Big bro, you have to see him. He is handsome. The only thing is that he is a nerd. From home to school to library and back home, that is his routine," Gina said excitedly. "You were told to go learn and not to run after nerdy boys. Nerds are the worst," Mr Olsen said. "Nah. You are only saying that because you haven't met him. Let me show you his picture," Gina said bringing out her phone.
She showed her brother the pics. Mr Olsen looked at the pictures and had to admit that the guy was handsome. "Okay. Fine, he is handsome and all good-looking but you are to go to school to learn," Mr Olsen asked. "Yes, bro. I have a question to ask," Gina said and sat closer to her brother. "What? Just know that I won't give you any extra money," Mr Olsen said. "I'm not asking for money. I know you are frugal," Gina said. "I've saved your words. I will use them against you sometime," Mr Olsen said looking away, "Anyways, ask your question." "What happened between you and Piper?" Gina enquired.
"We broke up just like most couples," Mr Olsen said emotionless. "Yes, I know but I saw some pictures. From the pictures, I could tell that you were so much in love with each other," Gina said. "Gina, let the story be. She is an ex already," Mr Olsen said. "Yes but she wants to come back," Gina said. Mr Olsen scoffed, "After eleven years, I've moved on, sis," Mr Olsen said. "Moved on? I've never seen you with any lady," Gina raised her eyebrow. "Good night sis. Sleep tight. Sweet dreams," Mr Olsen stood up from the chair.
Gina began to wonder why her brother doesn't like talking about Piper. She can recall clearly that anytime she brings up talk about her, he will find a way to change the topic. She went to her room and began surfing the internet.
Mr Olsen woke up the following morning. He did some pushups before going to take his bath. After bathing, still in his robe, he went to make breakfast. "Good morning bro," Gina came to the kitchen. She grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge. "Morning. How was your night?" he responded. "It was fabulous. I saw my hot nerdy in my dreams," Gina replied. Mr Olsen laughed. "Youngsters and their silly dreams," he commented while taking his breakfast to the dining room.
"I'm going to bro Jake's place later in the day," Gina said when her big bro was almost done eating. "Isn't he going to work?" Mr Olsen wondered. "He is not," Gina replied. "Ghad! Jake is too lazy for heaven's sake," Mr Olsen said. "No. He just doesn't like stressing himself," Gina said. "Ohh? I am the stress man, right?" he had his eyebrow raised. "If you think so," Gina smirked. "I don't have time for you now. Till I get back from work," he said and went to change into his office suit.
When Mr Olsen got to the company, Clara from Clane Limited was waiting for him. "Good morning sir," she smiled as she went after Mr Olsen into his office. "Morning, Mrs I'm not expecting you today. What are you here for?" Mr Olsen said sitting like a high prince on his seat. "Of course, you are not expecting me. I came here concerning the raucous event that happened yesterday," Clara said. "That is the fault of the CEO as my representative had said," Mr Olsen said, "He needs to take lessons on how to deal with business and emotion differently," he added.
"I don't want to sound like I am badmouthing your representative but I can tell you that she is incompetent. I know her on a personal level. She was my son's ex-girlfriend," Clara said. "I know that. She is not incompetent but your company is," Mr Olsen said point blankly. Clara was left mouth agape. She wasn't expecting Mr Olsen's response. She heard about him and learnt how brutal he is when it comes to business. "Now is too early for me to deal with you. You know the way out," Mr Olsen said and picked a file which he began to go through.
Clara left with shame. She couldn't believe she was this disgraced. She felt her ego inflated. It was with this anger that she went to Katherine's house.
Jake was glad when Gina arrived. "I was waiting all day," he said. Gina raised a questioning eyebrow and slumped on the sofa. "I need water," she said. Jake laughed while looking at her. "When you get really thirsty, you will find your way to the kitchen," Jake said. Gina frowned then went to the kitchen to get herself a cup of milk and cookie. "Did you bake this?" Gina asked munching the cookie. "No. I ordered it," Jake replied. "I should have thought as much," Gina said and went for the television remote.
"How much will you pay me if I do what you ask?" Gina enquired. "Fifty thousands," Jake replied. "Too small," Gina said. "Fifty-five thousands," Jake said. "Okay. It will soon be time. You will have to drive me there," Gina agreed. "Yes. I will drive you," Jake said, "Let me go and get dressed," he went to his room.
Jake and Gina drove down to Olsen Groups of Company. Gina went into the company with sunshades. She didn't want to take chances as someone might know her. She went to the receptionist. "Miss Linda here, how may I help you ma'am?" Linda beamed a smile. "I'm here to see a certain Miss Sophia in the Marketing Department," Gina responded. "I'm sorry but is she aware you are coming here?" Linda questioned. "No but you can tell her I'm from Jake," Gina replied. Linda nodded and dialed Sophia's officeline with her eyes checking Gina out.
"Good day Marketing Department, please put me to Miss Sophia," Linda said. "Miss Sophia on the line, please. Any problem?" Sophia replied. "A certain lady is here. She said she is from Jake," Linda said. "Jake?" Sophia was surprised.
