Ugly Elf
It was soon time for lunch at Olsen Groups of Company. "Henry, what is wrong? You've been moody since morning," Drey said as he and Henry walked to the cafeteria. "I'm fine. Nothing is wrong with me," Henry said. "Dude, you can't tell me nothing is wrong. You don't even look like someone who wants to go to the cafeteria," Drey said. "You know what? I messed up. I kissed Linda on Friday," Henry said. "Whoa! Just wow! Did she kiss you back?" Drey questioned. "Had she kissed me back, I would have been excited to go to the cafeteria," Henry said. "Just face her and pretend nothing happened," Drey said. "That's the problem. Pretending nothing happened is hard," Henry said. "Brace up, bro. I gat your back," Drey patted his shoulder.
They got to the cafeteria to meet others discussing lively. "Did anyone realise Henry doesn't look okay?" Sophia asked. "Work is telling on him. It's time to take a break and shift most of his works to his assistant," Drey said. "His assistant is a fragile female. Why don't you act as the interning head?" Sophia said. "I know you've always been lazy," Drey flashed his teeth to Sophia who stared at him. "I can't remember telling you I'm sick or something," Henry said. "Hehehe. Your body and movement said it all. Take a break bro," William said scrutinising Henry through his glass. "Will, enough of the tbrough-the-glass checkup," Henry said. Others laughed. "He is just trying to ensure you are fine. Take a break, boss," Linda said.
Henry's heart lept for joy as well as ached hearing Linda's voice. He controlled himself from grinning. "Alright. I'll take a three days' break. I'll let Mr David know. While I'm away, all my powers shall be vested to Sophia," Henry finally agreed. Sophia looked at Henry helplessly. "It's unfair. You just want me stressed. Drey can do better," Sophia said. "Don't worry, he will be your assistant," Henry said. "I don't want him as my assistant. He can be too annoying. Mira can testify," Sophia said. "We all know that," Miranda said. "Yeah. I'm that annoying guy y'all want around," Drey said with his playboy smile.

Gina sat sulking at home. She went to the fridge but it was void of candy not even the smallest piece of sweet. "Big bro can be very mean sometimes," she mumbled as she placed two apples on the plate she had with her. After eating the apple, she become bored as hell.
She switched on the television to watch Netflix but she had watched all the interesting movies already. She decided to take a walk around the house. She began her tour from the living room. She was passing by her brother's study when she remembered her brother reads crime stories a lot. She dashed to the study. "Finally, something to keep me entertained," she smiled.
Mr Olsen was in a business meeting with a contemporary. "If I agree to invest in this project, what are in for me?" Mr Olsen questioned. "Fifty percent of ownership," Mr Blake responded. "I want sixty percent after all I'm putting in a lot of money and my influence too," Mr Olsen said. "Sir, let's bring it down to fifty percent. Having fifty percent literally means you will have half of the profit," Mr Blake said. "Fifty five percent," Mr Olsen said. "Fifty sir," Mr Blake insisted. "I'm running out of time. I still have other things to attend to," Mr Olsen said.
Thinking about how much be would lose if he disagrees, Me Blake agreed to fifty five percent shares and ownership. He thought to himself, "After all, I will be the recognised owner." Mr Olsen signed the necessary documents and left. "Go to the company and complete other works," Mr Olsen said to his temporary assistant, Stephen. "Ok sir," Stephen bowed. Stephen put a call across to the company's car which come to drive him to the company.
Mr Olsen was driving at the normal speed rate when a lady jumped into the room.He was quick to swerve the car and braked. The lady stood shocked with her hands on her chest. Mr Olsen came down from his car. "Hey, are you okay?" he asked. The lady recovered from the shock and looked at the man who almost hit her with loathe. "Didn't you go through a driving school before jumping behind the steering wheel?" the lady questioned angrily. Mr Olsen was shocked as nobody not even a male talk more of a female has ever spoken to him that way. His eyes glinted cold. The lady noticed how cold the man grew but instead of being afraid, it only pissed her off more. "I shouldn't stand here with you. You are nothing but an ugly elf behind the wheels of a car," the lady walked out on him. "Only if you know who you just messed with," Mr Olsen's cold voice said stopping the lady on her track. "I know. I messed with an ugly elf," the lady hissed and walked away. Mr Olsen looked at the lady with his blood boiling of rage before storming to his car. He drove off.
"Big bro, welcome," Gina wanted to hug her brother but stopped when the heat of her brother's cold demeanor hit her. Mr Olsen walked to his room and had his bath. All through his shower, he was wondering who that lady was. The more he recall what happened, the angrier he becomes. He used the anger in him to scrub himself roughly.
Gina prepared an early dinner. She continued reading the novel with her while waiting for her brother. Mr Olsen came down about forty-five minutes later. By then, he was no longer angry but was expressionless. "I've set the table," Gina said going to the dining room. Mr Olsen followed.
When they sat down to eat, Gina thought of telling her brother about desserts for dinner but was afraid he would get angry with her. She later muster the courage to ask. "No desserts," Mr Olsen said. "It's for a complete dinner," Gina said. "I said no," Mr Olsen said. "Okay," Gina's face fell, "I can't even have sweet at most once a day," she mumbled. Mr Olsen pretended as if he didn't hear her and enjoyed his meal.
Back at the company, Mr David granted Henry the three days' leave. Henry and Drey left the company together. "Henry, what is your plan?" Drey questioned. "When I'm back to office on Friday, I'll ask her for dinner," Henry said sounding unsure of himself. "Yeah. You guys can talk things over a meal," Drey said. "Do you think she will accept the dinner invite? I did once but was refused," Henry questioned. "Trust me, she will," Drey assured. "She even look more beautiful and radiant than last week," Henry said. "That's your kiss working, bro," Drey patted Henry's back. Henry punched Drey playfully. "I am only enlightening you on what a kiss can do," Drey said laughing. "Stop it, Drey. It's embarrassing when a male blushes," Henry said trying to keep a straight face but his lips won't stop widening. "It's fine. Blushing makes male more handsome," Drey said. "I should just blush then," Henry smiled. "Not in your own case, bro," Drey said flatly. Henry's smile locked up.
