Hi Sister-In-Law

Katherine and Mr Olsen just finished a meeting. They were on their way back to the office when Katherine's stomach wambled embarrassing her. "Didn't I ask you if you were hungry or not?" Mr Olsen frowned at Katherine. "It's not hunger. That is how my stomach does once it is afternoon," Katherine said. "Whether it is hunger or not, we will know when we get to the restaurant," Mr Olsen said and grabbed Katherine's hand. He drove to the nearest restaurant. Katherine didn't want to get down from the car as she insisted it wasn't hunger. Mr Olsen who was standing by her side of the car leaned forward. "Come down now or I will be forced to carry you in," Mr Olsen said. "I'm not hungry. You can go and eat. I will wait in the car," Katherine said. "You thought I was joking, right?" Mr Olsen leaned in, unbuckled the seatbelt. He was about to carry Katherine when she stopped him. "I will go in," she surrendered.

"Order anything. Bills on me," Mr Olsen said. "That is the deal of course," Katherine said looking through the menu. She was actually hungry, very hungry. Mr Olsen smirked. Soon, their order was placed on their table. Katherine began to dig in. "I thought you ain't hungry," Mr Olsen said in a jest. Katherine stopped eating and sulked at him. "Sorry," Mr Olsen smiled and began eating too.

They were through with their meal when Ren and Mary walked by their table. It was Ren who stopped to say hello. "How are you?" Katherine smiled at him. "I'm good. I hope you are too," Ren responded. Katherine nodded. "I see that you've moved on," Ren said acknowledging the presence of Mr Olsen. Katherine just smiled. "Is this move on? She literally moved down. Down to an uglier fella," Mary scoffs. "I apologise on her behalf," Ren said. Mr Olsen smirked, " Only time will tell who is more handsome." Ren pulled Mary away from Katherine and Mr Olsen.

"How could you say such a thing?" Ren scolded Mary. "Are you scolding me for her? Really?" Mary responded. "I bet I should have made you do the apology back there," Ren frowned. "I see. I knew you still love her. You will just get broken more. She has moved on. She is with someone else now. She won't be yours. I, I will be only yours," Mary said. Ren glanced at Mary and went to their table. Mary began ranting as she followed him behind.

"Kat, are you okay?" Mr Olsen questioned. "Yes, I am," Katherine responded with a plastic smile. "You don't look okay," Mr Olsen insisted. "Where is the female gents?" Katherine asked. "Ask one of the waitress," Mr Olsen responded. "Okay," Katherine asked a waitress and was directed towards the restroom. She let the tears she held flow freely as soon as she locked herself in the restroom. When she was relieved, she washed her face. Washing her face ruined her makeup so she had to wash all makeup off her face. She went back to their table.

Mr Olsen noticed the change in Katherine's mood when she came back from the restroom but made no comment about it. "Should we leave now?" Mr Olsen enquired about five minutes later. "If it is okay by you," Katherine replied. "Let's go then," Mr Olsen said. The bill was cleared. All through the drive back to the office, Katherine was silent. Mr Olsen also didn't say anything to her. He felt she should have the little time they will be driving to herself.

"You look beautiful even without any makeup on," Mr Olsen said holding Katherine's hand after he had parked the car. "Thanks," Katherine said and released her hand. She tried to open the door but it was still locked. " I might sound selfish but can you please smile?" Mr Olsen pleaded. Katherine tried to smile but rather tears flow down her eyes. Mr Olsen unlocked the car door and went to Katherine's side of the car. He opened the door and helped Katherine out. He made her rest her head on his chest. "You can stay like this forever if it calms you," he said patting her gently.

"I have a question I've been wanting to ask you," Katherine said sitting opposite Mr Olsen. She had long ago been back to her happy and usual self. She promised herself to move on after all Ren has. "Why not ask so your curiosity can be confirmed?" Mr Olsen stopped what he was doing and faced Katherine. "It's a personal question," Katherine said. "Don't worry I will answer you after all you are the woman I love now," Mr Olsen said. "Your facial skin, ......," Katherine was saying but Mr Olsen interrupted. "What about it?" Mr Olsen asked. "It's texture is different. I feels fake," Katherine said. "Acid was poured on my face," Mr Olsen said. After his statement, he looked lost into the space. Katherine saw the change in his mood and decided not to further the discussion even though she was curious as to who, when and why acid was poured on his face.

"Hi sister-in-law," Gina said as soon as she picked Katherine's call. Katherine rolled her eyes. She has told her not to call her sister-in-law several times but Gina is just too stubborn. "How are you? I'm sure you are happy now that you are back at your parents' house," Katherine said. "I'm fine. I have moved feeling. Happy that I don't get to do any house chores but sad because I miss you," Gina responded. "Well, I don't miss you," Katherine said. "Hmmm. That is what I say also when I miss my big bro so much," Gina said. "I'm not you," Katherine rolled her eyes. "Don't worry. Our next meeting will let me know whether you miss me or not," Gina said. Katherine laughed. "Alright. You need to help your sister-in-law on something," she said.

"Anything for my sister-in-law in as much as she is ready to get me covered," Gina said. "I always got you covered," Katherine said, "Have you......," she was saying but Gina cut in. "By addressing yourself as my sister-in-law, does that mean you and big bro are now dating for real?" Gina was excited. "No, we are not. I just said that so that you will be willing to help me," Katherine said. "Why do I have a feeling the help involved big bro?" Gina was grinning mischievously. "Listen to the help first before jumping into conclusion," Katherine rolled her eyes. "Okay. I'm all ears," Gina said.

"Have you by any chance come across Dylan's picture when he was younger before his face changed?" Katherine asked. "Wow! You said Dylan instead of the usual Mr Olsen. I knew something was definitely up," Gina was smiling. "Arrghh! It's a slip of tongue. You know how domineering your brother can be. He forced me into calling him Dylan," Katherine tried to defend her. "And it seems like you enjoy calling him that too," Gina laughed. "Gina!" Katherine called with a stern voice. "I apologise," Gina stopped laughing. "To my question, have you ever?" Katherine asked. "Yes, I have," Gina replied. "Can you help me find it?" Katherine requested. "I cannot do it alone. You might have to come and help me," Gina said. "The maids will help you," Katherine said. "Mom and Dad won't agree. The room where the picture is, is like our family memory room," Gina said. "That means even I won't be allowed in," Katherine said. "You will be allowed in, sister-in-law. There is a lot you don't know about big bro," Gina said. "Really?" Katherine was surprised. "Yes. We'll meet this weekend. Bye. Talk to you later," Gina ended the call.
