Big Bro is a Gay
Gina flickered her eyes open. "Big bro, don't run," Gina said. Mr Olsen stood fixated. "I'm sorry brother. It was father's idea to pull an act. He wanted to know if you care about me. He was afraid you might not care about me if he and mother dies. I'm very sorry," Gina held her brother's hand. Mr Olsen used his other hand to wipe his tears and wore a stern and cold look. "I'm sorry big bro," Gina apologised continuously. By now, Old Mr Olsen and Mrs Olsen were already in the room. "Son....," Mrs Olsen tried saying something but swallowed her words when her son glared at her meanly.
"Gina, pack your bags and leave for my house. As for you two," Mr Olsen pointed his index finger to his parents simultaneously, " Never consider me as your son," he walked to the door, "Unless it is necessary," he slammed the door and left the house. "Finally, I'm going to live with big bro. I'm gonna know who his girlfriend is," Gina thought as she packed her baggage. "I think we should beg him. You can never tell what he is up to," Mrs Olsen suggested to her husband. "No. Let him be. I'm sure he can't harm us. He isn't as heartless as he presents himself," Old Mr Olsen said. "I hope so," Mrs Olsen sighed.

Jake got downstairs to meet Katherine and another lady entering a cab. Jake felt a wave of indescribable emotions as he watched the cab zoom off. He dipped his hand in his pocket to bring out his phone but discovered he left it in Jessie's office. He went back to the office.
"Who is she?" Jessie asked almost immediately when Jake entered her office. "Who is who?" Jake questioned confused. "The smarty you went to tease," Jessie responded. "She is...... I don't know. I only know her name is Katherine," Jake said realising he doesn't know anything about Katherine. "I thought.... er, never mind," Jessie said. "Whatever your thought is, I want to know," Jake sat on a cushion. "I'm busy now," Jessie said thinking of way to dismiss Jake. Jake sniffed like someone crying suddenly startling Jessie. "Am I this jobless? My best friend is too busy to talk to me," Jake said in a wailing-like voice. Jessie tried not to laugh but looking at Jake throw tantrums she burst into laughter.
Jake left Jessie's office an hour later and went to his male bestie's house. He got there and met the door opened. "Dee, are you home?" Jake asked sitting on a chair. Gina came running downstairs. "Bro J," Gina jumped to hug Jake. "God! I've missed you," she hugged Jake tightly. "Let me be now or else I'll bring in the cats," Jake said. Gina quickly disengaged from the hug. "You are a bully," Gina muttered. "Why are you here?Where is Dee?" Jake enquired ignoring Gina's comment. "Big bro asked me to come here. We pranked him," Gina narrated how they pranked her big bro to Jake. "You are in soup. Dee will torture you for what you did," Jake said mockingly. "I know my bro. He will not do that," Gina said confidently. "Should we make a bet?" Jake suggested. "How did this guy become big bro's best friend?" Gina wondered, " Let's bet," she finally voiced out.
"If he tortures you, I'll release the cats to you for two hours and lock you in a room with them. If he doesn't, I'll buy you chocolate and other junk for a month," Jake said. "I'm in already," Gina said squeaking at the thought of free junks for a month. She assured herself big bro won't torture her. "Good girl, I'll have to feed the cats well now," Jake said. "If you do that, you will only be helping the cats to grow because I know big bro will not torture me. I'm his favourite," Gina said proudly. "Are you sure you are his favourite?" Jake asked in a low voice that sends scorn. "Yes, I am," Gina furrowed her brow. "Just a reminder, both of us are in a relationship. Are you still his favourite?" Jake's voice was mellowed. Gina sat dumbfounded. Big bro is a gay?

Ren left his mother's place at noon. He refused to marry Mary. He also made up his mind to carry out a DNA test once the child is born. On his way home, he decided to call at Katherine's place. He was still doubting Katherine and that guy's relationship. He was lucky to get there few minutes after Katherine and Sophia got home. When he knocked, Katherine was the one who opened the door.
"Good afternoon," Ren greeted. "Afternoon. How can I help you?" Katherine replied rudely. Not even sparing him a bit of friendliness. "I'm sorry about the other day. I was only being irrational. I should have thought about it well. I'm very sorry," Ren apologised. "There is nothing to apologise for. I've accepted that as my fate and moved on," Katherine said. "You and that guy?" Ren raised a questioning eyebrow. "Any problem? Jake and I are a thing already. If Ren doesn't work, try Jake. That is what I am doing," Katherine replied. "But.....," Ren was surprised. "There is no but anywhere. The earlier you come to term with it, the better for you and me," Katherine said. She closed the door and exhaled with her back resting on the door with tears trickling down her cheeks. She hasn't gotten over Ren yet no matter how hard she tried.
"It's fine Kat," Sophia hugged her. Sophia knew it was difficult for her friend to get over Ren considering how long they had been together. "Why are you using Jake to push Ren away? You don't even know the dude," Sophia questioned. "He started the act and I decided to play along," Katherine said. "What if Ren decides to attack him?" Sophia wondered. "That is his problem. He is a hero who saved the day and should always be," Katherine said. "Let's be good girls by telling him this possibility," Sophia said. "Naah, he will think I care about him," Katherine refused. "Just this once," Sophia said. "Okay. Fine. I will call him later," Katherine said.

Jake's phone rang while he, Mr Olsen also Dee and Gina were having late lunch. "Sorry, I have to answer this call," Jake said. "Sure. Who doesn't know you lack table manners?" Gina retorted. Jake just glanced at her and answered the call. "Put the phone on loud speaker. I can see it's an unknown number," Mr Olsen said. "Is big bro jealous bro J might leave him for another person?" Gina wondered looking at the two men at intervals.
"Jake, is this you on the line?" a female voice asked. Mr Olsen looked at Jake surprised. "Who doesn't exchange pleasantries before the main call begins?" Mr Olsen muttered. Gina played a smiling contest with her food as she didn't want to provoke her jealous brother. "So they are a thing?" Gina mocked inwardly. "Who is on the line please? This is Jake," Jake replied. "Who did you give your card to? Or did you go about giving your card to random girls?" the female responded. "Katherine?" Jake called. "Yeah. It's I," Katherine replied. "Why the call? Ren troubled you?"Jake asked. " No but he might trouble you. I told him we are a thing," Katherine said. "That other day was just an act," Jake grunts. "I know. I only decided to add more scenes to your acting," Katherine smirked. "You are getting back at me?" Jake questioned. "You told me yourself that he is your love rival, right?" Katherine said. "That was to tease you," Jake mumbled. "Well, you teased the bad girl," Katherine ended the call.
"Since when did you start to give random girls your card? It isn't even your business card but your private number card," Mr Olsen asked angry. "Calm down bro. I only helped her and now she's being an asshole," Jake said. "You don't help everybody you meet. Most of them are infrared," Mr Olsen said. "Kat isn't an ingrate. She is just being a smart dumbass," Jake thought but instead he said, " Yes, I know. I've learnt my lesson."
Gina on her seat had come to the conclusion that truly bro J and her big bro are dating. Her hunches were also proven right after the call. "Who is Ren?" Mr Olsen asked. "Her ex-boyfriend," Jake replied. "What is his last name? We need to be a step ahead of him," Mr Olsen said. "I don't know. Don't worry, unless he strikes, we won't do anything to him," Jake said. "This is why I hate being involved with that gender called female. They will just put your head in the middle of nothing but danger," Mr Olsen said.
"There is a female here," Gina cleared her throat voluntarily. "That even reminds me of your punishment. You are grounded for a month. No phone. No candy or chocolate. No one can visit you. You'll be in charge of the house's neatness. If I ever find out that you went against any of my rules, I'll extend your being grounded time," Mr Olsen said. "I apologised already," Gina said with her eyes teary. "I didn't accept the apology," Mr Olsen replied. "It's time to feed the cats," Jake said in a monotone. "This is unfair. I apologised already," Gina said looking at her big bro pleadingly but the latter turned a blind eye and deaf ear to her.
