It had happened quickly, very quickly. One moment she had been uncertain, and the next she had been packing and getting into Ioannis's private jet. The flight was quick too, and it was long before the jet landed with a faint shudder, the hum of the engines slowly fading as the Turkish sun gleamed against the horizon.

Blowing out a breath, Yalda forced herself not appear as uneasy as she felt; her nerves were acting up again and she had managed to call asleep during the flight with Ioannis's help.

"Yalda," he had said to get her attention. She had been lost again, she had been staring out the window absentmindedly. Her gaze flickered to his tiredly. "You look exhausted already."

Exhausted? That was one way to put it. They both knew she was exhausted though, the flight would be short; barely an hour, but she nodded nonetheless.

"What's on your mind?" He asked her.

She didn't need to think to answer, it was Alexander. As always.

"Nothing much." She replied, her voice quiet. She tried pulling on a faint smile. "You have a beautiful jet"

Or had she complimented his jet already?

His brow arched and he looked like he was about to tell her that she had indeed complimented his jet already but though against it.

"Come here, Yalda." He ordered, his tone mild but decisive.

Her eyes widened slightly and she sat up straight. Something about being ordered by men like him always stirred up something within her. Her gaze flickered from his to her uneasy fingers and then back to his.

"You're thinking too much, I don't want you to do that." He spoke again, "Just come here."

Her breath faltered as she she rose to her feet slowly, his gaze raked over form with evident appreciation. And once again, Yalda found the fact that he was sitting there oozing such confidence and control while obviously checking her out interesting.

She closed the space between them in a few steps. Ioannis spared her the torture of having to wait and deliberate what was going to happen next by taking her hand and guiding her to sit on his lap.

She sat stiffly at first, but as his hand began to rub her back gently she found herself easing up and leaning into him. Everything about him was calming, his smell, his silent support, his strength, it had her breathing more freely.

"We'll be there soon, you can get some sleep in the meantime." He said against her hair. "Alright?"

Sleeping hadn't been part of the plan, but she found herself nodding immediately.

"I'll wake you when we get there."

And he had. The short sleep had only made her more exhausted, or perhaps sleepier; her head had been fuzzy and she had been unable to take in the beauty of the city as they made their way to the waiting car with Loki cradled in her arms.

"Watch your step." Ioannis said when she staggered ever so slightly. His hand on the small of her back steadied her as they walked. "The drive won't take long; you can sleep properly when we get to the hotel."

"Thank you." She replied, it was all she could say at the moment.

"I don't know why you're thanking me, Yalda, but you're welcome." He replied easily.

The drive had been quick, too quick maybe. She had drifted in and out of consciousness and the next thing she knew they had arrived at the hotel. She may have been sleepy but her mind was clear enough to know that the building was an exact replica of the one back at Greece, it was perfect.

It stood tall and exuded strength and elegance just like the man who owned it.

"I'm probably asking too much of you, Yalda, but will you stay in my suite?" He asked her gently. "I want you close to me."

Her senses becaked heightened as his hold on her waist tightened slightly, he guided her closer to himself.

"Will you?"

She had followed him all the way to another country, would she really draw the line at sharing a suite? That would be rather ridiculous.

Nodding, she replied "I will."

Saying nothing more, he leaned in and planted a lingering kiss on her head.

It wasn't long before Yalda was stepping out of her heels and climbing into the large bed, the fresh sheets welcomed her and the comfort of finally being able to fully relax had her eyes fluttering close.

Ioannis had offered to take care of Loki while she got some rest. He had said something about meeting up with his friend and tending to a thing or two.

"Call me if I'm not back when you wake up." He had her. "Make yourself at home."

And she had done just that. Her mind has been completely blank when she lay down, and it wasn't long before she drifted into a dreamless sleep. Or at least it started off that way, and as she drifted deeper into her sleep she began dreaming of strong hands holding her down, choking her till she was lightheaded.

She pushed the covers off her while stirring in her sleep; she was beginning to get hot, restless.

It went on, she could almost smell him and taste the hints of wine on his tongue. She could almost feel his hot breaths fanning her neck, she could almost see his steely eyes staring into hers.

Her eyes snapped open at that moment, and her chest heaved heavily as she tried to recover from the effects of the dream on bother her body and soul. Staring up at the high ceiling, a lone stream of tears when sliding down to her cheek.

Being so far away from him would change nothing, she knew that much.

Her hand trembled as she reached out, picked up her phone, and dialed Ioannis's line, he answered almost immediately.

"Yalda, you're up already?"

She couldn't believe his voice actually calmed her a little.

"Yeah." She replied, her voice lower than she thought it would be. She cleared her throat before trying again. "I am."

There was a brief silence before he spoke again.

"Are you alright?"

She nodded quickly though he couldn't see her.

"Uh, yes." She lied. "Are you busy? I didn't mean to bother you."

"You're not bothering me, Yalda." He replied. "I'll be there shortly. Drink some water and go get some air on the balcony, alright?"

She nodded once more.

"Alright."

"Good. See you soon, Yalda."
