Rogue
Dante
We were all on alert.
My eyes were widely open and my pupils had a supernatural glow as I darted my eyes back and forth, closely watching out for the tiniest movement. I looked over my shoulder to see the last man in the group walk in. I turned my head suddenly as the sound of metal clattering against the floor came from the kitchen.
What was that?
That same instant, the house was filled with the sound of cracking of bones and it was soon followed by a loud howl. A 6’3 foot tall wolf suddenly emerged from the kitchen and swiftly jumped out of the window, shattering the glass mindlessly.
Damn it!
I growled loudly and in a few seconds, I had transformed into a full grown 6’5 foot tall wolf that jumped out the same window and ran into the bush with crazy speed. I was soon joined by my crew members who had also transformed into wolves and we chased after the Rogue fleeing from them. The twelve wolves on My side suddenly ran in different directions on receiving a telepathic message from him.
The plan was to close in on the Rogue from all sides as soon as there was a barrier. The wind brushed harshly against My wolf face as I ran through the moon lit clear bath in the bush and with my enhanced vision, I zoomed in on a barrier of thick bushes and thorns meters ahead.
Good.
With a few metres distance apart, the Rogue wolf leaped into the air and skillfully jumped over the barrier, every muscle in the Wolf’s body flexing smoothly. I let out a disappointed growl and followed suit, leaping over the barrier and landing at the other side of the bush. In a few seconds, My wolves also landed and the Rogue suddenly stopped running, transforming back into my human form; a stark naked 5’9 foot tall man.
I and the others stopped instantly in surprise and we were all taken aback by the multiple howls coming from within the bushes.
I was hit with the realization of what was happening as numerous dots of glowing eyes emerged from the bushes.
It was an ambush.
I slowly moved backward as I saw the wolves slowly walk out of the bush with low growls.
There were so many of them and as we were oblivious of the ambush, they would have torn us apart.
Then it's good that I had come up with a plan incase something like this happened.
I stretched out my hand and Nathan handed me a small device shaped like a gun.
It contained a bullet filled with a powder herb made with silver. The powder would cause Werewolves or Vampires to loose their abilities and become mundane temporarily
A smirk formed on my lips and I pointed the gun at the forest before pulling the trigger. The air was immediately filled with fog.
Instantly, I felt my the supernatural feeling in me disappear.
The wolves also began to howl as they forcefully reverted to their human form. Immediately, the other team I had made come from the opposite direction, came out of hiding and began to shoot the Rogues down with silver tranquilizers.
"Round up all of them and have them taken to the slaughter house," I said, facing my Delta, Killian.
"It's going to be so much fun watching them suffer."

I sighed as I walked into the training room. I was sweating profusely and there was blood splattered all over my body.
"Did it feel nice?" I stopped walking and looked up to see Nathan, my beta and friend sitting at the corner of the training room and looking out of the door.
I continued walking a cocky smile formed on my lips.
"It was sure thrilling to see those Rogues suffer," I said and I walked to the bench next to him, sitting on it.
"You know you don't always have to torture those Rogues after we capture them," Nathan said and he stretched out a bottle of water to him.
I stared at him blankly for a while before taking the bottle from him.
"They need to be punished for all the bad things they do," I replied and I opened up the bottle of water.
"But Dante, you don't have to be the one to do it all the time. If you really want to make them suffer, you can have anyone else do it," Nathan pressed and I sighed. I gulped down the entire bottle of water and squeezed the bottle in my palm before tossing it away.
"I'm not complaining Nathan," I stood up from the bench and i walked towards one of the punching bags hanging down the ceiling.
"But it's not healthy for you. You're displacing," Nathan said as I clenched my fists tightly and threw a punch at the punching bag. The punching bag swung forward and as it swung back, I caught it with my hand to stop the swinging and I turned around.
"I don't remember you ever being a psychologist Nate," I said and rested my palms on my waist.
"Doing this to them is not going to take away the hurt. You're only locking it up and it's building pressure till it breaks through and breaks you down," Nathan added and I sighed, ruffling my hand through my hair.
"I'm not doing this to hide any hurt. I'm perfectly fine," I retorted and turned around, throwing another swift and heavy punch at the punching bag.
"Fine, just know that you can't do this forever. No matter what you do, you'll still have to heal and Rogues will always keep causing trouble," Nathan said and I stopped the punching bag from swinging.
"You're right," I said softly and Nathan raised his eyebrow curiously.
"Rogues will always keep causing trouble, but what if we find a way to break their legs permanently?" I asked and a mischievous grin formed on my lips.
