Ceremony

Killian started the car and he drove us out of the parking space onto the main road.


"So who was it that drugged them? Did you catch the person?" Killian asked..


"No, she escaped in a car," I replied bitterly. Once Zon sends her picture, I'll make sure that I find her and I'll make sure she suffers dearly for daring to that. She didn't even fear me.


"She was sent by a rival company owned by people at the Mystic Fangs Clan," I stated and Killian faced me in surprise.


"And they did this to threaten me," I said, my fists clenching subconsciously.


"Someone is going to get me a picture of the lady who did it and I'm going to deal with her," I said, gritting my teeth.

I stood before my dressing mirror and buttoned up my shirt. I put on my wrist watch and gently used my hand to adjust the front of my hair.


I glanced at the door as someone knocked on it.


I walked to the door and I unlocked it, opening the door to see Nathan.


He was awake. Good.


I left the door open and I walked back to my dressing mirror.


"So, Killian told me what happened," he said and I nodded.


"Yes, you and Viktor were drugged," I confirmed.


"Have you seen Viktor by the way?" I asked.


"Yes, and he was shocked to wake up here,," Nathan said and chuckled.


"For some reason, he doesn't like to be around other supernaturals," I said, shaking my head.


"You do remember they were supposed to meet with Landon today, so get ready quickly," I said and I fixed my cuff links on my sleeve.


"Yes, that's why I'm here," Nathan said and I turned around to face him.


"Landon just called and he said that we wouldn't be able to meet up at the restaurant again," Nathan said and my eyebrows furrowed in slight annoyance.


"What?!"


I was already dressed up and I thought we would be leaving in 30 minutes. Why would he just cancel the meeting all of a sudden?


"He said that something came up at Gemini pack," Nathan explained and I sighed, dropping the other cufflink in my hand on the table.


I can't believe that I rushed to get ready for nothing.


"He said that we can postpone the meeting or if we want to, we could join him at the ceremony at Gemini," Nathan added.


"What ceremony?" I asked.


"You mentioned something about the daughter of the better attempting to murder her sister and practicing dark magic, so they are burning on a stake before the whole pack," Nathan replied and I frowned.


One thing I hated so much were Werewolves who are part of a pack and plan evil towards other members of the pack. There were no better than pesky Rogues and I always make sure that they faced the same punishment as Rogues that we capture.


I shook my head. How can someone think of killing her own sister!


"So should I tell him that the meeting will be postponed?" Nathan asked, knowing that I normally wouldn't think about going out when it is not necessary, talk less of attending ceremonies outside of my pack.


"No, we'll go to Gemini," I said and Nathan looked surprised.


"We will?" He asked again to confirm if I really meant what I just said.


I also didn't know why I wanted to go. I just feel this strange urge to go there and I always followed my thoughts


"Yes, we will," I said, nodding in affirmation..


"You and Viktor should get ready quickly. meet me outside at the car in 5 minutes."

I looked outside the window as I saw Viktor and needs and step out of the building. They both climb down the short flight of stairs and walked towards the car.


"Where are we going exactly?" Viktor asked.


"The Gemini pack. That is the pack London belongs to," Nathan replied and Viktor nodded.


"Yeah, I know that pack."


Nathan climb into the driver's seat next to me and Viktor went to sit at the back.


Nathan started the car and he began to drive us to the road that led to the etstate's exit gate.


"What do you think could have made the lady try to kill her own sister?" I asked and Nathan glanced me briefly before looking at the road again.


I never had a sibling, but to the best of my knowledge, I know that siblings are supposed to love each other so much and be ready to risk their lives for one another, not trying to take each other's life.


"Well, I don't know. You can find out from Landon or Jack when we get there," Nathan replied and I rolled my eyes.


"Siblings could be annoying sometimes, but killing or even trying to harm them is not supposed to cross your mind," Nathan said.


Nathan and his sister, Nylah. She left some years ago when she found her mate.


I sighed and leaned into the seat of the chair. The last time I visited the Gemini park was three months ago when the Los Angeles Alpha meeting was held at Gemini.


Twenty five minutes later, we finally arrived at the border of the Gemini pack. Deer park was not in an estate like ours. It was located close to a forest.


They were a bit isolated and hard to find, but the main protection what is the magical barrier around them.


Anyone who is not supernatural that passes here will casually walk by without noticing the pack.


Better slow down the car as we god close to the guards. We rolled down the windows and as the guards saw us, they gave the signal to the others to let us in.


"Landon just texted me," Nathan said, increasing the speed of the car as he drove past the guards.


"He will meet us at the main pack mansion now and take us to where the ceremony is being held."
