Nadia
Dante
No one answered me so I rang the doorbell again.
"Someone should answer the door!" I heard Rufus shout from inside the house and I began to hear quick footsteps..
The door was soon opened by a woman wearing an apron. She was probably a servant in the house.
She quickly lowered her head as she saw me, "Alpha Dante."
"Who is that?" Rufus asked loudly and he came to check who it was.
Our eyes met and he seemed very surprised to see me.
"Alpha Dante." Rufus looked very surprised to see me and he walked closer to the door.
"Why are you here?" He asked with a smile that was obviously fake.
"I'm here to get some of Natasha's things from her room," I said and the smile on his face wore off.
"Ummm......I bought all of those things that she owns," Rufus stated coldly.
"Of course, but she's your daughter right so she is entitled to things you buy for her. No hard feelings, unless......" I said with a smile and I raised my eyebrows.
"Yes, absolutely, you can get them," Rufus quickly said and I nodded, smiling as I walked into the house.
"Mira, take him to Natasha's room," Rufus instructed and I followed Mira as she directed me to Natasha's room.
"This is her room sir," Mira said, stopping in front of a door.
"Alright, you can go," I said and she nodded. I waited till she disappeared out of the long corridor before opening the door of Natasha's room and walking in.
As I entered the room, I slowly closed the door, looking around the room. The room looked like it had just been arranged and cleaned.
I saw the reading table by the wall and I walked towards it, looking at all the novels on it. I looked at them one by one and I saw that they were mostly romance novels and some few novels about Werewolves.
I found it funny that the humans wrote about us and I was curious to know how accurate their knowledge was, but I didn't have time to indulge in fiction.
I bent down a bit and I pulled out the lower drawer. There was a cellphone there.
I picked up the cellphone, pushed the drawer back in and stood up straight.
I dropped the cell phone in my pocket and I grabbed all the books; six in total before walking out of the room. Just as I stepped out and closed the door, I saw someone else also step out of the next room. It was another maid.
She regarded me with a slight bow and she stared at me a little too long and it seemed weird.
She quickly looked down and she turned around to go. I saw that she seemed uncomfortable and a bit scared.
"Wait," I said and she suddenly stopped walking.
"Come here," I said and she slowly turned around to face me.
"A...Alpha Dante," She stuttered as she slowly walked towards me.
I opened the door of Natasha's room and I pointed into the room.
She looked at the room and at me again. I pointed again and she slowly walked into the room.
I walked in too and I closed the door.
"What's your name?" I asked and she answered with shaking lips, "Nadia."
"Okay, Nadia, tell me what you know?" I asked.
She looked up and replied, "I don't know what you mean Alpha Dante."
"I know there's something you know about Natasha and her family," I said and she gently shook her head.
"Nothing sir."
"I can see clearly that you are lying so I want you to be honest with me," I said in a persuasive tone. I wanted her to feel comfortable and tell me something that could be useful.
"If I say anything, I'm afraid what they would do to me," She said, confirming what I thought she was scared of exactly.
"I'm an Alpha, and I promise that if you can help me, I'll take you away from here and make sure you are safe," I said and she looked up again.
"Is that okay?" I asked and she slowly nodded in affirmation.

I brought the car to a halt in front of the main pack mansion at Black Cedar. I retrieved the car keys and dropped it in my pocket before opening the door.
I carried the books I got from Natasha's room and I climbed down from the car, slamming the door shut.
I climbed up to the door and I pushed it open, walking in and using my free hand to close it up.
I looked up and saw Nathan walking towards me.
"Nathan-"
"So, the men I sent were able to track down the woman in the picture you sent to me," Nathan said.
That was fast.
"Good."
"They know where she is going to be for the whole week," Nathan added. I would personally go with some men to confront her and I'll make her regret carrying out that daring instruction.
"What are those?" Nathan asked and I looked down at the books in my hand. I quickly looked up and I shook my head..
"Nothing, I have to go," I said and I saw Nathan try to hide a smile as I walked past him. I stopped as I got to Natasha's room and I knocked on her door.
There was no response and I knocked on the door a second time.
Once again, there was no response, but as I was about to knock again, I heard Natasha's voice.
"Coming," she said and she quickly opened the door.
She was surprised to see me, but when she looked at the books in my hand, she smiled. She opened the door wider and I walked in.
I dropped the books on the bed and I turned to face her..
"Thank you so much," she said with a smile. I refused to return the smile and I reached into my pocket, taking out her cell phone, and stretching it out to her..
She smiled and grabbed the cell phone, but I didn't let go of it and she looked at me in confusion.
"Next time, don't call my name out like that in public," I said and I saw the smile on her face disappear.
I let go of the cell phone and nodded before walking towards the door. As I opened the door to step out, her voice stopped me..
"Dante." I sighed on the inside. What did she want now?
"Who is Bastien."
