Trap Door
Natasha.

I walked out of the bedroom with a towel wrapped around my body. As soon as I finished drying my hair I walked to the closet that was in the room and I opened.

There were so many pretty dresses in the closet and I wondered if this room belonged to somebody else before or if the clothes were brought because of me.

I shrugged and I brought out a blue dress. I took off the towel and hung it in the bathroom before getting dressed and putting on a fancy sandal I saw on the shoe rack next to the wardrobe.

I began to think about Dante and I wondered where he was. He mentioned yesterday that they had a gala to attend. I didn't see him throughout the day, but I saw him once in the evening when he was leaving with the Beta and he ignored me as he walked towards the door.

I shook the thought out of my mind as I thought about what I could do in the meantime. I was so bored and there was absolutely nothing to do. No cell phone and definitely no novels to read. There wasn't even a reading table in the room.

I sighed as I made up my mind to explore the building. I walked out of the room and I looked left and right to decide where I should go.

I closed the door of my room as I decided to go in the left direction. As I walked down the corridor, a man passed by me.

You didn't say anything but he was staring at me with an unclear expression.

"Who is she?" I heard his voice in my head, what his lips weren't moving.

"I wonder why the Alpha brought her here, is she one of those Rogues?" I heard his voice in my head again and I realised what was happening.

I was hearing his thoughts. I could actually read minds again.

The full moon already passed two days ago when I was in the cell at Gemini pack I know was there to steal my powers.

I was already recovering and if this continues, I will be able to master all my abilities and find out what more I can do.

I could no longer hear the man's thought as he had already walked past me. I could only read thoughts when I am seeing the person.

I kept walking around for a while but I didn't meet with anyone else. I noticed that the park worked in a different way.

At Gemini, the main pack mansion what's where every member of the park was supposed to live, but each family can decide to build their own houses in the pack territory.

Here, the pack had an entire estate to themselves so everyone had their own houses and the main mansion was for the Alpha, Beta, Delta, Gamma, their families and a few others, making it quiet. Even the Gamma who already had his own family didn't live here.

"What are you doing?" I hear the voice behind me and I turned around to see the Delta, Killian staring at me coldly.

"Nothing." I nodded, avoiding eye contact with him.

When I imagined having an Alpha as my mate, I imagine myself being the Luna of the pack and being respected by everybody.

I didn't think that I would be treated as a stranger I constantly have to be washed so I wouldn't "Run away"

I didn't know what was going on with Dante but I would remain patient for when he was ready to let everyone know and treat me as his mate.

"Well...?" He pointed in the direction of my room.

"I was bored so I came out to take a walk," I said and he sighed.

"Look, I'm really busy right now and I don't have the time to watch you, so how about you just go back to your room and make this easier for the both of us," Killian said, sounding irritated.

I didn't want to argue with him or cause any trouble since I was just new here and didn't want to start off on the wrong foot with anyone.

"Alright," I nodded, crossing my arms over my chest and walking back to my room.

I closed the door of my room with a frown on my face and I went to sit on my bed.

What could I do now? I couldn't just stare at the air.

I raised up my hand and loosened my hair that I had packed into a ponytail. The pin droppee to the floor and I bent down to pick the pin.

I was about to raise up my head when I remembered noticing something and I bent them again to look under the bed.

There was something there. It was like some sort of trap door.

I was suddenly curious. I stood up straight and I walked to the door of my room, locking it so that no one would able to come in.

I walked back to my bed and I grabbed the wooden part, pulling the bed away from the wall. As soon as the bed was no longer over the trap door, I stopped, sighing to catch my breath.

I walked to the trap door and I bent down slowly opening it. There was a dark flight of stairs under the trap door.

I looked up, contemplating whether soon climb down the stairs and see what was there, or if I should just ignore it and cover up the trapdoor.

I decided to do the first option and I slowly climbed into the stairs. This stairs was dark but I could see because of my wolf sight and I cautiously climbed down the stairs.

As I got to the foot of the stairs, I saw that there was nothing there and it was there was a wall. I hissed in disappointment and I was about to turn around and climb back up the stairs, when I tripped. I quickly rested my hand on the door to support myself when I suddenly felt the brick move in.

I took my hand away and watched in surprise as the wall separated into two. Bloody hell.
