Magic
Dante

"Fine, just know that you can't do this forever. No matter what you do, you'll still have to heal and Rogues will always keep causing trouble," Nathan said and I stopped the punching bag from swinging.

"You're right," I said softly and Nathan raised his eyebrow curiously.

"Rogues will always keep causing trouble, but what if we find a way to break their legs permanently?" I asked and a mischievous grin formed on my lips.

"What?!"

"Dante? Dante?" Nathan kept calling my name as I smiled with the ideas in my mind.

I finally faced him and raised my eyebrows in question.

"What do you want to do?" He asked and I went back to sit on the bench next to him.

"You said that Rogues will keep on causing trouble, but what if we can prevent them from stepping foot any where near our borders, or even letting them do it, then they die," I said and Nathan shook his head, looking confused.

"What do you mean, we have guards stationed at the borders, but they still do it anyway," Nathan said and I nodded.

"Well yes, that hasn't stopped them from causing trouble, but what if there's a supernatural way to kill trespassers on the spot," I stated.

"You're talking about Magic Dante, we're Werewolves not Mages," Nathan rolled his eyes and I smiled before standing up.

"Then we go to the ones who can actually do magic," I said and I immediately zoomed out of the training room.

I knew that Nathan was going to say something to oppose so I quickened my steps as I walked back to my room.

"Dante, you can't do that!" I heard Nathan shout from inside the training room.

"I can do whatever the hell I want. I have to take a nap now," I replied loudly too.

"Don't tell me that you're seriously going to go to those Witches for help!" Nathan kept ranting on and on, walking after me from behind as I took quick steps to my room.

"I think I made myself perfectly clear earlier," I replied as I wiped my neck with the towel.

"Fine, go on, but remember that they are cunny creatures and they'll find a way to take from you more than they are giving," Nathan continued and I sighed in frustration.

At this point, I wish it was someone else doing this so I could really lash out at the person and tell him 20 ways in which I could make him pay for disturbing the hell out of me.

But it was Nathan and he was the only friend I had. Also the only one who could try to correct me after I've made up my mind on a decision.

"I'm pretty sure I can handle a few Witches, it's going to be fine Nathan," I said and I stopped walking before the door of my room.

Nathan stopped walking too and he crossed his arms over his chest.

"Have it your way then," he said and I sighed internally.

"But I'm going with you," he added and I nodded with a smug smile before opening my door and walking into the room.

Just as I closed the door, I felt my phone vibrate in pocket and then it rang out loudly.

Great. There goes the nap I has been waiting to have. I sighed in frustration and I reached into my pocket, pulling out my cell phone.

I looked at the caller id and saw that I was my secretary from my company. What was it?

I picked the call and walked into the room, throwing the phone on the bed.

"Morning Sir," I heard my secretary's voice echo out of the phone and I walked to the mirror at my dressing table.

"Morning Kara, what's the matter?" I asked and looked into the mirror, using my hand to clean off dried blood that was just a little above my right eye.

"Sir, there are guests from Starnex industries here and they want to see you," Kara replied and I rolled my eyes with a sigh.

"Have Viktor attend to them and tell him to send me the details of the meeting," I said as I used my fingers to adjust loose strands of my black falling down the corner of my face.

There was silence for a while and I thought that she had cut the line, but with my wolf hearing, I picked up some voices at the background.

It was too low so I couldn't properly pick up the words, plus I was just slowly recovering my supernatural side back after the encounter with the Rogues earlier . I sighed and turned around, walking back to my bed and picking up the phone.

"Kara, are you there?" I asked.

"Yes,"

"Mr. Xander is here and he says that he wants to see you," Kara stated and I sighed again. He was the CEO of Starnex industries and I recall that my company, Rivera Consolidated was trying to get to be the partner of Starnex in a big twin project that the government contracted to them.

"Fine, I'll be there in ten minutes," I replied and cut the call before she could say anymore word.

Now I needed to call Nathan just after managing to get away from him. How great.

I closed my eyes and tried to reach into my supernatural abilities that were just resurfacing, hoping that Nathan wasn't too far away. I finally created a telepathic mindlink with Nathan and I opened my eyes, walking into the bathroom.

"Hey, I thought you wanted to take a nap," Nathan's voice echoed in my head and I scoffed.

"That's no longer going to be possible, I need you to get ready to leave in three minutes," I said as I reached for my grey pant and pulled it down. As it got low enough, I used my legs to push it further to the floor before stepping out of it.

"Where are we going?"

"To the office. Mr. Xander wants to speak to me," I said I climbed into the bath top.

"But do I have to tag along," Nathan grumbled and I shook my head before reaching for my tooth brush and applying my toothpaste.

"I'm certain Xander is going to be there with his personal assistant and several other entourages, the least I can do is have a personal assistant with me."

"So get ready and don't make me look cheap."
