Investigating
Dante.

I adjusted the cuff links on the sleeves of my shirt, taking a last look at my hair before walking out of the room. Just as I closed the door, Nathan who I had called with a telepathic message walked towards me and I continued walking towards the exit door.

"I sent you the picture of that woman from Pandemonium, I need you to have her tracked down," I instructed. Even though I was busy with having to find an evidence to proof Natasha's innocence, I couldn't forget the other things I had to do.

Especially not the woman who had the confidence to make a move on Nathan and Viktor when I was around. The picture Zon sent to me captured her very clearly and she shouldn't be too hard to find.

"Alright. Where are you going?" Nathan asked.

"I'm going to the Gemini pack to find out some things," I replied. I wanted to go there and try to find out if anyone knows something about Alyssa and Natasha that could be useful.

The two people on my mind were the two girls that I saw sitting with Alyssa on that day. They were her friends so they had to know something about what Alyssa does.

If Natasha's allegations against her are true, then those two ladies might know about it. I already called Landon and he agreed to meet me there so he could show me where to find them.

"Dante!" I heard someone call my name and I immediately stopped moving. I haven't heard her voice many times, but I knew it was Natasha.

How could she call me like that when people at watching. She's going to make them suspect that she and I were close.

I slowly turned around to face her and she quickly ran towards me.

I sighed internally and asked, "What is it?"

"Nothing much, I heard that you're going to Gemini, so I wanted to ask if there was a chance that you could help me get some of my things at my house," she replied quickly.

What? Was she seriously giving me an assignment to do right now? How did she even know that I was going to Gemini?

"You were eavesdropping on my conversation?" I asked and she quickly shook her head.

"No I was going to ask you and you happened to pass by my room when you said that," she quickly defended herself. I looked around with the corners of my eye and saw that people were watching and most likely listening with their wolf hearing so I didn't give an answer to her request and I simply turned around to go.

I didn't want to give them any ideas.

"Just my books and the cell phone hidden in the lower drawer of my reading table." She shouted as I reached the door and I sighed on the inside again before walking out.

She was really annoying. I knew that the way I behaved towards her would most certainly hurt her, but I liked that she didn't show it or react like she cared.

I reached into my pocket and took out my keys as I reached my car and I opened the door, climbing in, and starting the car.

I intertwined my fingers on my lap as I sat in the sitting room of the last lady on my list, Keelin.

Her parents were sitting on the couch before me, Keelin sat on the adjacent couch while Landon sat next to me.

I already went to Phoebe's house and it went the same way it was going here. She outrightly denied knowing anything.

"I told you that I don't know anything. Stop trying to make me an accomplice," Keelin said in a sharp tone.

"Be respectful Keelin," her mom quickly scolded her. Well, she had a bad mouth just like Alyssa.

"I'm sorry, Alpha Dante, but our daughter said she doesn't know anything," her father said respectfully before glancing at Keelin.

He looked skeptical, but he went ahead to say "and we believe that she is telling the truth."

I didn't want to continue pushing this so I stood up with a light sigh.

"Alright. Thank you for your time, I'll take my leave now," I said. Keelin's parent quickly stood up too, but Keelin remained sitting on the couch with a frown.

I ignored her and signaled to Landon with a nod that we should go.

"Thanks for understanding," Keelin's mom said and she opened the door for us to go.

I climbed down from the stairs that led to their door and I sighed loudly, resting my palms on my waist.

"Where to now?" Landon asked and I shoot my head. They were the only two I planned on seeing.

"I'll go home now," I said and immediately I did, I remembered that Natasha asked me to get somethings from her house.

I don't have to do it, I thought, but I felt like carrying out her request..

It won't hurt me, I thought.

"Wait, I need to go Rufus' house," I said and Landon looked surprised.

"Just show me where it is," I said.

"It's close by," Landon said and I followed him as he began to direct me to the house.

We soon got to their house and I stopped at the door.

"Thanks for the help, you can go now, I'll just walk back on my car when I'm done," I said to Landon.

"Okay then," he smiled bleakly before walking away. As he left, I rang the doorbell.

No one answered me so I rang the doorbell again.

"Someone should answer the door!" I heard Rufus shout from inside the house and I began to hear quick footsteps..

The door was soon opened by a woman wearing an apron. She was probably a servant in the house.

She quickly lowered her head as she saw me, "Alpha Dante."

"Who is that?" Rufus asked loudly and he came to check who it was.

Our eyes met and he seemed very surprised to see me.

"Alpha Dante."
