"Jenni....." I ran as she turned to me and I can see the tears in her eyes already.
She turned as she stared at me but didn't say a word.
"Hey...I need to talk to you about something" She was walking towards me as my heart kept beating like a drum set.
"Hey..."I tried holding her hands but she let go of me easily.
"Rachel... What up...What's wrong with Jennifer..." I rush to Rachel in panic as she continues to find me weird.
"I don't...know.ow..." She stammered while she moved her face from staring at Jennifer.
"Anyway... it's time for you to leave now...Don't worry...when I'm ready on a w vacation trip, I'll let you know..." I stopped the cab for her while she continued to stare at me...
I head back to the house with fear all over my body... I don't even know what to do anymore.
I head back to my mum's room and just enter again without knocking.
"Mum...I don't know what is happening... Jennifer's refused to talk to me and since today, she has been acting strange" I murmured while I placed my head in my mum's leg...I can feel my eyes gathered in tears already but haven't pumped out.
"Jennifer? I told you I saw her spying on you guys so I don't know what is wrong with her but are you sure you are not having an affair with the girl you brought today" She continued to tap my head as she pampered me like a baby.
"Mum...why are you saying this? We are just doing business and nothing else...Don't you believe me, mum?" I raised my head and looked at my mum but immediately put my head back in her leg.
"Did I say I didn't trust you but you are a man now and you ought to know what to do" She replied and I was cold for a minute as my brain decided to go blank on me now?
"Mum...What do you mean by that...Please, I don't understand" I replied in confusion as my voice echoed within me.
"My dear...Come...You see...Whenever you love something, you should try your best and stick to it... you don't know what she might be passing through...so I advise you to talk to her now that it is the best chance since she has already shown you she's angry" She raised my head and stared at me while tapping my head from the back.
"Mum... You know I can't do that... I haven't even talked to a girl once in my life and now you want me to comfort her? I can't mum...If she can't come to me and share her feelings, then I'll let her be" I complained and was immediately fed up as I was about to leave her room but she held my hand.
"See...you see the problem I have with you... this is your pride... try to let it go... if you are in a relationship, pride should be removed, and accept love and care...The fact that you have everything a lady means doesn't make you the boss in her life...She can still fucked you up...what I'm trying to say is this...Walks to her explained things with her and if she brings up any topic concerning your friend who you claim to be business, just know that she's jealous and you'll explain to her what you just told me but if truly you are lying. I'm afraid, I can't be on your side anymore but for now, I trust you" She advised while using her hands to clean my tears which was about dropping out.
"Mum! This is a difficult task for me but I pray it ends well...When should I approach her then... Nevermind...I'm hungry again... This stress alone is about to make me lean...I'm.going to the kitchen mum!" I quickly stood up was about to leave again but she stopped me
"Wait... That reminds me...what kind of noodles do you cook for your friends?" She questioned and I froze since my brain is not working to find an excuse.
"Did...You...Taste it..."I stammered while I looked her in the eyes.
"Yes of course...When you went out...It was messed up and how did she manage to eat it?" She stood up while drawing closer to me...
"Mum... it's not any fault... Our maid didn't agree to cook for us" I mumbled while receiving a knock on my head.
"Mum... what that for," I asked playfully with my hand on my head.
"Don't be a disgrace to me...You should learn something and be useful for once...You just disgrace me, son...What is wrong with... She even eats the food and that is what disguises me" She complained while giving me another knock again...At first, I thought it was a play but I think it is getting serious now.
"Mum...What this" I complained again " She just ate with me and that's all...I'm leaving" I playfully tried to leave but she still refused to.
"Come here" She dragged me back.
"Jennifer is in love with you and she's blinded with jealousy right now...Now that you said you are hungry, you should talk to her and join her in the kitchen...I think you two will plan along from there" She let go of my hands and stepped back to her bed.
"Thank you, mum! I love you" I smiled at her as I exited the door.
'Where do I start from now...Holy shit! Dean will be pampering his love... can't be possible...I know dean ' my inner voice whispers as I walk past downstairs.
' Just let me be for now... I can handle this on my one...when I needed your opinion, I didn't see you...so please leave me alone 'I replied while walking towards her room
"Hello Jennifer...it me Dean please open up" I knock at the door but no one seems to answer me.
"Hey...Jenni... common... open this door for me"I whisper while I continue to knock but no one is answering me.
"Jennifer...come and open the door for me..." I knocked harder as I became tired of wasting my precious time over here...
"Fine... I can break this door and still repair it today... so it better you come here now and open it today" I yelled out loud as I continued to still knock at the door harder.
"Dammit...why is my brain just shutting down for no reason... This door has been locked and I'm too dumb to even notice it... Oops...I'm just frustrated" I yelled at myself while leaving her doorstep with anger written on my body.
I walked around the round but couldn't find Jennifer...I searched again and again but to no avail.
"Mum! What wrong...I couldn't find Jennifer anywhere" I ran to her and complained since she was the only one capable of giving me advice.
"Is that why you are panicking... She'll come back... here is her home so why are you scared" she walked straight to me and embraced me but I didn't know the time I let her hands off me.
"Mum! What if she never comes back" I murmured again as I continued to hit my feet on the ground.
"Don't worry... She'll be back...Just have little faith" She embraced me again but this time, I embraced her as my tempered smoothen.
"Mum... But I'm hungry and I need to eat something" I whisper to her ear, still hugging me without wanting to let go.
"Don't worry...Let's go straight to the kitchen... I'll teach you what you wanted to eat so that you won't be a disgrace to me again when you have a visitor" She knocked on my head again as both of us went straight to the kitchen.
"You know the problem with the food you cooked earlier, The face is nice but the ingredients aren't good enough for such food...Just stand close to me and learn" she advises again and I found this very awkward to me.
Cooking isn't easy as I continue to stare at my mum even when my mind isn't there. I forced myself to learn from it.

"Hi...It's me... Jennifer... please come outside" Jennifer whispered from a distance while waving her hand.
"Hey...Jennifer...Good to see you...What are you doing here?" Jeffrey ran to her and was about to embrace her but she drew herself backward.
"I'm bored so I decided to come and see the company.." She replied as she smiled at him even when both are not on good terms... Everything seems natural all of a sudden.
"I have missed you..." I smile while twinkling at her but she keeps avoiding me.
"Hmm... are we going to be standing here and discussing... Let go to the office" She paused and stared at me but was afraid to maintain contact with me.
"My office... No...let's head to the restaurant...That will be sweet and romantic...Trust me" Inside of me start laughing but too shy to show it out.
"Romantic? When did you become so funny...Anyway, let's just go there" We both walked straight to the restaurant as we cited the secretary on our way but she didn't say anything.
"Hi... Seriously... I've missed you...I even tried asking the boss but he didn't tell me anything!" I smirked as I ordered food from the waiter.
"Boss...Why did you ask him...You could have come yourself" Her low tune shows something is wrong...
"Are you alright...Why is your voice so low?" I peeked closer into her eyes but she failed to look at me.
"Anyway...It's nothing... let's just forget about it..." Her voice again keeps me worried.
"Jennifer...is there something you are not saying or are you scared someone is listening to us right now" I continued to stare at her as she was afraid to stare at me back.
"Let's just forget about it..." She concluded as soon as the waiter brought their food...She collected it from him and placed it on the table but Jeffrey was just quickly trying to figure out what was going on...
"Thanks..."She clamored before the waiter left.
"Yeah...Food is ready...enjoy your meal..." I clapped my hand as I quickly took a bite before getting my food set.
"Why are you in such a hurry man...calm down... the food just got here" She smiled and for once I felt as if my dream love was around me.
"I'm hungry to see this food... I can't wait... I glance at her, still with a smile on my face.
"Jennifer... I have moved on... where I reside before, I don't stay there anymore..." I stated while eating and she was still staring at the food.
"Why did you leave and who are you leaving with now?" She countered and was about to try to get a bite from the food but it seems she's too shy.
"I live with my mum now...I had to, for her sake... but I'm leaving happily...What about you... How is the boss treating you" I commented again as I was staring and watching her face change as I mentioned the boss?
"It's nice... at least you are with your parents now" She quoted with her weakened voice as she continued to eat the food.
"You know Jennifer... I found you interesting but I have never had the opportunity to talk to you or tell you about my feelings...I know I treated you badly at work but forgive my manners...I'm rude at times but my heart never lied" I found it interesting to express my feelings as she froze and stopped eating.
"Hmm...feeling for me... anyway... it a simple reply...I'm not interested" She replied rudely but I kept on smiling as her present matters to me.
"You know...At first, I thought you and the boss were having an affair not until I approached him and he told me YOU ARE NOTHING TO HIM so I think it would be better if the two of us wore make-up... look at me... I'm a changed man now and I'll always make you happy as you are currently" I continued to shine my teeth on her while she kept on staring at the plate of food.
"Who said I'm happy right now...You know what... I made a mistake coming here...My response is clear... I DON'T LOVE YOU...and don't think of coming close to me anymore" She shouted and stood up rudely while leaving the restaurant.
