"You can go home... I'll stay with her till she wakes up..." Jennifer responded immediately as Dean dropped Jeffrey's mum in her bed.
"What if she scolds you? What will you do and besides... this issue wasn't any of your concern so why must you be involved in it" Dean provoked as he was about to help out from the room but as he turned his back, he was astonished to see Jennifer sitting beside Jeffrey mum.
"Am I a kid? you know she's not strong and she needed someone by her side... why don't you go home... I'll be coming as soon as she wakes up... I promise" She was just staring at Dean and immediately, uses a bug duvet and covers Jeffrey's mum.
"What has come over you" Dean yelled, staring at her... "Are you sick or what... after all this family has done for you... Do you still have feelings for his mother? Are you mad?" Dean shrieked walking toward Jennifer, trying to drag her but Jennifer refuses
"What's wrong with you dean... let's go with me...what has come over you and why are you this harsh... I just said... she's not fine and someone needs to stay with her... once she's awake... I'll come home right away... what's wrong with you" Jennifer yelled back at him while forcing herself to overpowered Dean from dragging her.
"What's wrong with this brat... Fuck... why do I even have to fall in love with someone like you who are see the world clearly... Are you blind... You know what this woman and her son have done to you... what else do you want from her... Stay away from them... I'm warning you... or... else..." He kept dragging his left ear while yelling at her before she interrupted him.
"Or... else what? Beat me? I even regret falling in love with someone like you either... you are so rude and arrogant... if this was your mother... what could you have done..." She couldn't complete her speech as Dean gave her a heavy slap on her jaw.
"What... Dean... you slapped me... " anxiety arose in her body as she placed her hand in her jaw in shock.
"How dare you call my mother... Are you mad... you know what... you are so foolish... After everything, I have done for you... you still have the gut to raise your voice at me... You are a fool... and if you say one more word, I swear, I'll beat you up and promised your mum didn't recognize you again and even my mum" The beast in Dean enlighten up as he was staring at Jennifer buy Jennifer was too scared to open her mouth, as she continues to hold her jaw why her body was shaking.
"Dean...You..." The tears in her rolled down as she never expected... She was shocked because she has never seen this kind of anger before in Dean...it looks as if something has gotten into him overnight.
"See I'm warning you... follow me now... or...I won't even have to bother about you anymore or care if you exist..." Dean continued to yell while stretching out his right hand on her but she slowly walked backward, avoiding him.
"Oh! I can see you just made your choice... " Dean became angrier as he tried walking away but used his blowing fist on the wall making his hand bleed.
"Do you think... 6 million dollars is all a joke... not even 6 million dollars... yes... and... a one million dollars... Damnit" he slammed the wall again.
"I did everything to make you happy... feed you, clothes you, and even shelter you but you still want to associate with my enemy's...Gosh... Are you blind Jennifer... Let's go home at this moment" He turned his face, staring at Jennifer as his blood dropped on the ground while Jennifer was still shaken in anxiety.
"I'm sorry for yelling at you Jennifer...Can we go home now" He stretches his left hand because his right was covered in blood but Jennifer continues to move backward?
"Once she wakes up...I'll come home... I promised and don't worry about me... she won't do anything to me..."Her lowly calm voice spicy up as she sat down nearby Jeffrey's mother in the bed.
"Dammit... What's wrong with you... I'm telling you... don't even step your foot in my house again and spend the day with this poor brat woman... I assure you... The moment you step your filthy foot on my house... That'll be the end of you and I promise to attend your funeral" He provoked heavily, raising a shock on Jennifer who thought Jeffrey had calmed down...Dean left the house in anger and slammed the door with a force that eventually woke Jeffrey's mum up.
"What's going on...who was that..." Sho slowly raised her head which made eye contact with Jennifer as she murmured with her slippery voice.
"No...Oh.... it.... nothing..." Jennifer stammered staring at the door while returning a smile with shining gaze teeth.
"What happened... Why was I asleep... what happened to me" Sleep was still in her eyes but she forced herself not to sleep as she sat more comfortably in the bed.
"Mum! It's nothing... should I get you water to drink" She tried standing up but Jeffrey's mum held her back.
"Wait... is it true that you were the one who put my son in prison?" she held close as both eyes glanced at each other with tears covered in her eyes.
"Ummm...." Jennifer remained silent as she stared at her and nodded her head slowly.
"Oh... I get it now..." She slowly removed her hands as she was holding Jennifer and placed her head back in the soft loony foam
"Mum! It's kind of complicated..." Jennifer continued to stare at her in the eye but Jeffrey's mum was silent as she cried silently without uttering a word. As Jeffrey's mum placed her head on the foam without answering Jennifer, Jennifer headed straight to the refrigerator and brought out the water of chilled water.
"Mum! Take this..." She tried raising her at the same time, offering her the bottle of water but unfortunately, Jeffrey's mum pushed her away, making her slip and as she was about to support herself with her hand, her hands fell into a tiny nail.
"Ahhhhhhhhh" She screamed, yelling out loud but Jeffrey mum felt less concerned since she wasn't in her right mood... shortly Jennifer pretended nothing happened and bandaged her with her underwear.
*Mum!" She tried again, giving the woman the bottle of water with the underwear bandaged hand. Jeffrey's mum looked at her and with pity, she collected the water and placed it by her side.
"Why did you do that... why did you do that" She cried heavily as I walked closer to her. she continues to hit me with her hand.
"Mum! Your son kidnapped me for 6 million dollars mum... what would you do if it was you who paid that ransom and finally caught those who put you in that shoe... Mum! If you were in our shoes, I promised, you'll do the same thing" While I was staring at her, I quickly promised Dean that I'll come home as soon as she woke up but now I'm spending the entire day.
"Mum! I think I have to go now... I've been waiting for you to wake up... I'm a sorry mum! Please take care of yourself... don't worry about Jeffrey... he'll be okay... I trust him...Bye mum" I tried walking away from the room but the whispering voice from her mouth made me scared.
"I thought your husband said you shouldn't come home since you didn't follow him" She commented while Jennifer paused, looking back in confusion.
"How did you know he said something like that because I know very well... you were asleep... how come... did you hear us or have you been pretending all this while" Jennifer turned her back after her speech in confusion while staring at her.
"I don't know where I heard that information from but I can recall someone said that to you... or is it merely my dream... forget about it... You can go '' she confused herself as she continued to hold her ears like a woman whose eardrum is itching.
"No...You said the truth mum... Dean yelled at me because I had to make sure you are safe before leaving this house... because your family made him pay such an amount...He slapped my mum" She didn't know the time, she walked back to the bed and cried in the arms of Jeffrey's mum before her phone rang.
"Hi... Where are you..." Dean's mum called as she was panting heavily just as if she was heading somewhere urgently.
"I'm with Jeffrey mum! I'm planning on coming home now... but...." Dean's mum interrupts her for she completes the statement.
"I just got informed that Dean had an accident... and he's in the hospital right away... I'm heading there now... I'll text you the address... come right now and meet me in the hospital" She hung up, texting her the location of the hospital and starting her engine.
