Chapter 91

"What's wrong with you... Why do you have to tell him that I was not at home since morning... Are you mad or something?" Dean's mum turned to Jennifer as she froze while eating.
"He...called...me...and..." She stammered but she didn't let her finish her speech before interrupting her.
"Shut up... what did you know... What you know is how to talk but there is nothing in your head... Haven't I tried for you a lot... I feed you... cloth you and shelter you but what you could do is to create a problem for me and my son... See, let me tell you something... the moment my son and I had a little problem... you'll leave my house and if my son even plans on marrying you, I'll disown him" she yelled at her and saw her hands shaken as she dropped the spoon.
"Ma'am... ma'am." words couldn't come out of her mouth after being insulted by someone she loves.
"Leave my sight immediately... Foolish girl..." Before she completes her statement... Jennifer has already run to her room with tears in her eyes.
"Foolish girl... what she's good at is knowing her to run her mouth like a tap... Gosh... If my son had a problem with me... I swear.. I'll make that little brat pay" She soliloquy and walks straight to the sitting room
She picked up her cell phone and tried to dial Jeffrey's number but she couldn't.
She has this belief that Jeffrey will run with all the cash and she'll be left with nothing... even her son who she plans on doing something great will be left with nothing...
She dialed the number but it couldn't connect... At first... she became scared but she remembers that each time she's in that house... there's sometimes a network problem.
"Hello... Have you checked up on my friends for quite some time..." Jeffrey called his woman and it was certain that it was because of that call, that Dean's mum couldn't connect.
"Not really... I walked up to them lately but they told me not to disturb myself... they also said... they are not kids... so we laughed about it... Hmm... I didn't spend much time with them... but how do you intend on keeping them forever since it's because of you they are out of prison..." She responded right in her bed with her cute pink doll in her left hand.
"Hmm... I'm working on that... These few days with me are damn stressful and tomorrow also will be stressful... I don't know how to do it... I'm tired... really" Jeffrey felt frustrated... he didn't sleep in his room but rather, he brought a pillow while resting beside the safe.
"Please, anything... you are doing... just be careful with it... okay... Because right now... the world is dangerous and I can bear to see you among those that will make me cry?" She advised me but everything she said sounded more like stress to me.
"Are you free tomorrow... pardon... are you going to work tomorrow... I need to go to the station... will you... Jo..." she didn't let me complete my statement as she screamed in my ear.
"What happens....who is arrested this time..." She sat up in her bed while screaming to the extent that her mum came knocking in her room.
"Damn... are you that scared... c'mon... nothing changed... the lady that put me in prison has been caught this afternoon so she's the reason I'm going there..." I calmed her down and a ping rose on my phone... I look at it and my battery is draining fast.
"I'll try my best... just tell me the time..." she responded slowly because her mum was still watching her from the door.
"I don't know yet... but I'll call you when I'm going... I might leave as early as possible because I still have some unsettled business to do" The ping keeps beeping but I don't know how to tell her... I'm about to end the call.
"Okay, no problem... please... we'll talk tomorrow... I'm not comfortable anymore" She ended the call and deep down inside me, I was glad she ended it because I don't know how to tell her not to.
"Finally... I can sleep in peace... but how'll I go about this... I haven't gotten a call from her yet and I promised her tomorrow... Gosh! I can't let her down!.." I grumble as I place my head on the pillow before sleep takes charge.

Jeffrey rushed to the bathroom... he was so glad that he woke up on time but shockingly, it was already past eight...
He quickly picks up his cellphone while texting his friends to get ready, and he's coming to meet them...
He tried hard and called his woman before his phone died... she told him that she was already at the hotel...
Jeffrey drove to the hotel with his father's car parked outside the compound...
" Hi... I'm coming... wait for me in that vehicle over there.." Jeffrey hugged his woman as he headed straight to his room
"Guys let's go... I have other things to do..." He yelled before he opened the door and to his greatest surprise... They are already dressed.
They all went down smiling with an empty stomach...
"Where are we going to and with the way I can seething right now... nothing is going smoothly" Wayne questions me but I didn't even give an ear... all I had in mind is to be at the prison as soon as possible.
"Why are y'all in suits... is there an occasion in the prison" we got outside the hotel and Sabrina was confused to see us all in suits and wares, it was only a coincidence.
"Let's go..." I opened the car with my key and we all tightened our seatbelts.
"Please... calm down... why are you in such a hurry..." Wayne tapped me while I was driving as I nodded my head to him.
"I'm sorry..." I responded, bowling my head in the steering.
