Chapter 63

"C'mon Dad! You are surprised I knew about that... c'mon. Do you think I'm joking when I said I should come over here after my work period... I know a lot of things regarding you and that woman but one... thing...I don't know...is..." I smiled as he was staring at his dad in confusion but his voice weakened toward the end of his statement.
"I can see... so you have been spying on us... what's a great move... so tell me what you don't know about" my dad smiled as he looked sideways feeling guilty about everything.
"Don't worry... I'm not here to talk about your relationship... I'm here for the money I asked you for... and you know perfectly that I've been in this house for quite some time now... and my friends are waiting for me outside." I stood up immediately while walking toward the door and peered at my friend's...
Unfortunately, I saw them outside but I'm not sure I saw three of them because I was too scared I'd be caught peeping.
"Oh! You didn't tell me you brought your friends... why don't you take them inside... c'mon... let's have a drink together" I don't know where he's driving to as he keeps ignoring my message.
"Dad! I'm not here to have a drink with you... and besides my friends aren't coming here" I frown my face as I stare at him and at the same time, sit opposite him.
"What if I insist, son!" He shines his teeth on me...
"Do anything sounds funny here... I told you....they are not coming here... and besides... I'm not here for a drink... go straight to the point" I yelled at him and watched as his mood changed immediately.
"Son! You have changed a lot...but... I understand... it's because of me" His voice changed immediately and I wore a brilliant smile as I made him loyal.
"Yeah! Can we go straight to the point...I need the 10 million dollars that a rich woman gave to you... I know it's more than 10 million dollars but I only need this... it's urgent" Immediately, I opened the c.h.apter, and he bowed his head in distress and made me feel as if I'm demanding.
"Hmm" He inhales deeply.
"Son! You don't understand why you saw me like this... you don't know what's going on in my life.... and I don't know where to start from" He raised his head slowly and stared at me and I stared at him back like a damn dummy.
"I don't get it... what's going on in your life... Do you know what's happened to mum and me within the past few months? Please! My friends are waiting for me and I have overstayed my welcome... can you please give me a positive reply" I replied as I stood up and walked to the shelf while bringing out a bottle of wine and a glass...
"The money...you...asked..." he stammered and paused after seeing me with a bottle of wine and a glass.
"I thought you said! you are not here for a drink and besides, why didn't you bring me a glass also" he asked but I played on deaf ears after staring at him awkwardly.
"I'm no longer worthy to drink with you" I was silent and after pouring the wine into my glass, I whispered to him before drinking it.
"Ummm" He inhales inwardly.
"So go ahead... the 10 million dollars," I said before sipping the wine which I was holding in my right hand.
"Hmm" He breathed in... " The problem is... I don't have much money but..." As he commented with his low tune, I interrupted him, making him not complete his statement.
"What..." I yelled... " You are my only hope and I don't know what to tell my friends.... damn... I'm dead..." I yelled as my eyes blotted with thick red and with the anger in me, I slammed the glass on my hand with my right hand.
"Do you have to do that?" He replied in shock as he watched my blood keep beeping on the floor. " You didn't allow me to complete my statement and you know perfectly well that I don't like being interrupted" He stood up and walked to the shelf as he was writing something on a piece of paper while my heart kept boiling.
"I'll help you get the 10 million dollars but you have to be careful" After he finished writing, he also turned the red wine on the glass he brought from the shelf and gave the paper to me.
" What's this?" I frowned while he used his eyes to tell me to read it...
I started reading it... and as I was done, I stood up and walked toward the door about to leave.
"My son! You have to be careful" He interrupt me as I was about to leave the door and I turned to him slowly
"Please I'm not your son from now on and I'm sorry for calling you dad... just pretend that I never called you that until you make things right" I turned and winked at him before leaving the house.
"What's wrong with you? What's taken you so long? Are you drunk?" Dean rushed to me and yelled at me but I didn't give him a reply but went straight to the vehicle.
"Can't you see him bleeding... give him some time" Wayne pushed Dean as he kept pestering around me.
" What happened there! hope you didn't kill your dad" The Black wolves leader asked in curiosity but I didn't answer them but threw the car key to Wayne while I entered the vehicle.
As we all entered... the vehicle was so quiet as a graveyard as all of them kept staring at me to say something...
"I'm..." breathe in.
"I'm sorry Dean... for everything I have caused you... the money isn't with my dad... and..." I kept sniffing as I explained in a low tone while Dean interrupted me as Wayne and the black wolves were staring at me.
"What... you are going back to prison..." Dean yelled and walked out of the vehicle in anger while kicking his car tire over and over again.
